“Erin took great care for our pups! She definitely has a great love for your pets! It is helpful to be at peace while you’re away! She also house sit as well and kept everything organized. Thank you Erin! We will use her again! She is a great pet lover! By the way Annie is a pup 4 months now!”

“Angel did an amazing job watching our dog, Hattie, and our cat, Milo, over Christmas and New Years. He was very flexible about adding time to his stay when my husband and I got stuck in Wisconsin due to a flight cancellation. Angel sent us several updates daily with pictures and videos of our babies, which I really appreciated since it was our first time leaving them with someone. He also came over before we left a few times to let Hattie and Milo get to know him. Angel made us feel very comfortable with him being at our house, and he did everything we asked when it came to Hattie and Milo. Hattie tends to be very anxious when left alone or with someone she's unfamiliar with, and she did very well with Angel. Finally, he left our house cleaner than when we left it (and I left it pretty clean for him haha). I highly recommend Angel to watch your fur babies, and I will definitely be hiring him next time we need it!”

“Kelsie was great with my pups! She was very communicative and kind and they seemed to really like her. She was also very respectful and I would definitely recommend her services.”

“Tanja helped take care of my adolescent husky/shepherd mix last minute during a family emergency. Despite never meeting her in person, I was able to trust her completely. She was very communicative and did a great job handling my dog, who isn't always the easiest to manage.”

About: I always grew up with pets in my home and loved all of them so much. I have been on Rover for a good amount of time now, having experience with all kinds of dogs, understanding that they have their own unique needs. I am a student athlete trying to make money for college by doing what I love. My schedule changes from week to week but I’m always available 12:00-4:00pm (unless I’m booked). Wednesday is usually my busiest day of the week. Least busy is Monday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday REALLY depend on the week. Some days I’m available all day, others only part of the day but I often flex my schedule. 👍 Since I currently don’t have any pets I will care for your cat/dog as if they are my own with lots of love. I will gladly send picture and video updates of your pet. I’m here because I genuinely love pets.

“Brooklyn has watched our dog Davy as well as our home twice now. She is very attentive to Davy’s needs. He requires daily medications and special care due to injury and she has been incredible at keeping up with all of that. She always sends us pictures to let us know how he is doing, and she leaves our house in great shape after she leaves. I would highly recommend Brooklyn as sitter!”

“Best pet sitting experience ever. Lisa took extra good care of our boys while we were abroad. We received lots of updates and pictures throughout the visit. Our home was kept clean and tidy. Our dog were given plenty of exercise and attention.”

“This is our second time having Alicia house sit out Zarya. She is a great guest in our house and takes amazing care of our Zarya. It’s odd to think that we trust someone whom we never actually met in person with our pup and home while out of cell service but she makes it so stress free. Can’t wait for Zarya and Alicia’s next hangout!”

“Mollie will reach star status so fast on Rover. She’s not new to housesitting / pet sitting by any means and is the most skilled and professional Rovers I’ve ever booked for overnight pet care! I can’t say enough good things about her (and almost don’t want to because then she’ll be booked solid and Champ and Athena will never see her again 😆 she’s that good. She will have repeat after repeat clientele) Mollie is: strong, confident and calm. My dog is large (over 85 pounds) and is a rescue so has some reactivity. Even in a situation beyond Mollie’s control escalated she was able to handle it safely and calmly and de escalate it so all pets were safe. Communicative and informative. From check in to check out I knew exactly what to expect. She was clear on included walks and activities. Tidy and comfortable. I was so pleased to see she’d used the kitchen though the evidence was beyond subtle. And she even ran a wash with the duvet cover and top blanket! — Bottom line: book mollie! And tip her generously! Her rate is too good for what she offers ♥️”

“Paul was great with my high energy dog! He did a few drop in visits before house sitting to make sure my dog was comfortable with him. I would highly recommend Paul and will have him dog sit again!”

“Jordyn was a phenomenal sitter! She was prompt, communicative and she loved on our animals like we would have. She was polite and tidy and left our house cleaner than she found it. Could not recommend Jordyn more highly!”

“Elysia did so great with our pitty mix. She was super communicative and sent pictures throughout her stay. We came home to a clean house and happy boy. Would definitely recommend :)”

“Briana and Jamal were so amazing at taking care of our dog and home while we were away. They sent lots of updates that showed our clearly very happy dog having the time of his life. They helped him with his medical needs as well. We will definitely ask them to sit for us again!”

“We have complicated dogs, and April handled them like a champion. We got daily updates and pics, and April was incredibly responsive. We would ask her to care of our dogs again in a heartbeat!”

“Rose was great! Stayed with our herd overnight and even managed to get our under-the-weather dog to take her meds. Our 3 cats warmed up to her really quickly and everyone was happy when we got home.”

“Ella followed our care routine as outlined, was punctual, and responsive. We appreciated her patience when introducing her to Courage in our home as he can be quite loud and demanding when meeting new people. She responded to his poor manors by remaining confident and assertive. Would be happy to have her watch our boy again.”

About: I really love taking dogs out for walks, it gives me a moment to breathe and think, and by the end, they’re usually happily panting and ready for a nap. They’re such sweet little souls, and I honestly take so much pride in caring for them. Sometimes I feel like I connect with dogs more than people ! they’re just pure love in a fuzzy little body. I’ve also helped raise puppies from the moment they were born, and watching them grow has been one of the most special experiences in my life. With kitty cats I’ve fostered twins for a little under a year, one was the sweetest while the other made me laugh while he had a zommies-fest in front of me ! I work remotely and I can work from anywhere, and other than from 11 AM Ish I have one delivery to do Monday through Friday, which gives me a full availability ! I very much love cuddle bugs, however, even my own dog isn’t cuddly unless it’s on her own terms. However, I set aside time to play with her, and even on walks or else at home and make sure to tell her she’s a good girl and reinforce good behavior :3

Kaitlyn S.
“Kaitlyn and my dog Freya spent several days walking though Pt Defiance Park trails, doggy parks, and walking trails and beaches in nearby cities. Kaitlyn always picked up doggy-doo with bags on hand and enjoyed getting fresh air. My dog is happy to explore the world and get excercise, and my dog is in good care with Kaitlyn.”
South Tacoma pet parents share their Rover experiences
Katie kept us well supplied with pics and commentary on Mateo. She has background working with animals and was understanding and patient with him when he did not want to be a snugglebug. He was happy to see us and we could tell he was calm and relaxed. No anxiety. No issues, we would definately use her again and recommend her.

Jensine was a wonderful sitter to our foster kitty, Annie! I knew immediately when we met that her calm and fun demeanor would match Annie’s spunk well. She spent so much time with her every day, making sure she got both play and cuddle time. And she sent great photos and videos with her updates every day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a house sitter!

Adam is absolute clutch — seriously, 10/10 across the board. From the jump, he was super responsive and communicative, which immediately gave us peace of mind. He asked the right questions, sent thoughtful updates, and clearly got it when it came to caring for our crew (Nala, Zeus, Tank, and Milo — no small squad!). What stood out most was how he treated both our kids and our home with total respect - as if they were his own. You can tell Adam takes real ownership in what he does — he’s responsible, attentive, and just all-around solid. He handled everything like a pro, but with a calm, easy energy that made the whole experience stress-free on our end. If you’re looking for someone who blends trustworthiness, genuine care, and good vibes, Adam’s your guy!

Sydney helped out last minute and we could not be more grateful! Our dogs have a hard time adjusting when we are out of town, but Sydney went above and beyond to care for our boys. Sydney is excellent with communication and provided multiple updates throughout each day.

Shiyanna took such amazing care of our dog, two cats and our home. We were so nervous to leave our newly rescued dog for a memorial out of state and Shiyanna made sure that she gave us lots of updates, photos, etc to ensure we felt comfortable. Our dog is very high energy and has some reactivity issues, in addition to still being reactive to our cats which makes the living situation/management of the house complicated. She still spent plenty of time with our kitties and walked our dog way more than we requested. She even went above and beyond and cleaned! I would recommend her for any of your pet or house sitting needs and we will definitely be working with her again.
