“We have never used this app before nor have we left our pup with anyone we didn't know, which made us very anxious in trying to find someone. Loc made this whole process very easy, are usual timid dog went right up to him at the meet/greet and apparently had a wonderful time. He sent daily pics/vids and was quick to respond with any concerns. We were gone a week and has 0 issues. Highly recommend and would definitely book again! Thank you!!!”

“My girl had a wonderful time and Keana was a fantastic host for her. She got lots of walks and attention while I was away. Keana was a perfect host for an anxious dog mom. I enjoyed all the photos of their adventures together and am glad to know I have a great dog sitter for the next time I’m out of town!”

“Rebecca was amazing! Her and her family took my husky (Bruno) in like he was their own pup. We dropped bruno off worry free and he had a great time. She sent lots of photos and a video for us to see while we were away too. She was super communicative and answered any and all questions we had. Would 1000% recommend and book again 😊 thank you Rebecca!”

“Val was so caring to our grumpy cat. Thank you for taking such good care of her. Val sent frequent updates and photos. Val is very professional and provides great service. She was flexible on pick up on drop off which was appreciated.”

“Heather is amazingly sweet with my puppies and completely open to how our puppies live and fit within her home. They were well taken care of while we were away.”

“My pup had a wonderful long weekend with Priscilla and her pups! Priscilla was communicative and supportive throughout Max's stay, and Max had a great time full of activity, socialization, and rest. He gets so excited to "go to daycare" because he loves spending time with them :)”

“Elizabeth is fantastic! Such a dog lover, we felt immediately comfortable with her and Ckona clearly had a blast while staying there. Very responsive and professional, sent great pics, and just had a great overall experience.”

About: Are you looking for a caring and reliable sitter for your small dog while you’re at work? I’m a retired nurse with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs. My previous pet passed away several months ago, and I miss the companionship. I’m offering daytime dog sitting in my home for a well-mannered, fully house-trained dog (20 lbs or less) who gets along with other animals. Your pup will receive plenty of love, attention, and care in a safe, comfortable environment. My husband and I have a 12 year old Vizsla who is very friendly. She is mostly an indoor dog. We are located near several parks which we frequent almost daily.
About: I have always been in a home with pets. Currently have our dog (6yr) Cooper, 2 cats (Tobi and Lola), as well as a guinea pig. I work in office these days and only available evenings and weekends. During the summer my kiddos love to want money so have taken up some walking and daycare. My dog and I enjoy a good nature walk/hike during the day while the kids are at school and then sometimes a big adventure on the weekends. Our cats and guinea pig couldn't be more loved and cared for. They all thrive and enjoy each others company as well as my kiddos.
“Fast and easy communication from initial meet and greet to scheduling the boarding stay. Lily our senior pup has many "particulars" that did not scare Chris from accepting her into his home. Chris has a bright and air conditioned pet space which opens into a yard (no steps) that Lily thoroughly enjoyed. Chris was especially attentive to Lily's needs during the 4th fireworks. Thank you! Thank you for all the updates and pics during Lily's stay! I'm glad she made friends with Petey and Finn too!”

“Kaitlin and her husband Nathan took excellent care of my little dog Molly. This is the first time I left her alone with someone else, for over a couple weeks. They helped Molly transition from having a minor separation anxiety, to become fully comfortable by the end of the stay. They cared for her like their own dog. Kaitlin sent photo updates every few days. I recommend Kaitlin, and would book with her again!”

“Our anxious boy was well taken care of. We received pictures and updates every day for his 8 day stay. He seemed comfortable and happy. Will definitely use Oneeda again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child, and started doing pet care for neighbors as soon as I could. Caring for pets continued through college, getting connected through friends to walk dogs in between classes. When I moved to the PNW, I discovered Rover and have been sitting and walking ever since. The recent gap in my services was from moving down to University Place and then focusing on my own dog, Winston, for the first two years after his adoption. I am only offering walks and drop-ins (no long term or overnight care). My pup Winston will stay at home whenever I am booked for services so that I can give your pet(s) 100% of my attention. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels and have experience with quite a few behavioral concerns as well. I am very comfortable working with pets that struggle with: - leash reactivity - anxiety around people or other animals - medical issues, including those that require medication administration or emergent care - pain and mobility issues due to aging - food sensitivities/diet restrictions I also love working on dog training whether that’s loose leash walking techniques or just having your pup learn or practice tricks as a part of a drop in visit. I know the feeling of leaving your pet with a Rover sitter for the first time, especially when they have a history of medical issues or anxiety, so I always send detailed updates with photos to keep you at ease. I’m so excited to be starting my services again and hope to meet you and your pets soon! I am taking a break from work before beginning a fully remote role as a consultant in a few months, offering me a ton of flexibility to set my own schedule. Once I begin working again, advance notice will make it easier for me to schedule my meetings around Rover bookings. I live in home with my partner in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. I typically refrain from off leash activities, interactions with other dogs/people, or rigorous activities like hiking or running unless I have permission from the owners and repeat experience with the pet.
“Micayla was great with my little man. He got lots of exercise (he was wiped when he got home!) and she easily handled his high energy level. She was also flexible with us when I had to cut my trip a few hours short, which I appreciated.”

“We were nervous about leaving Jack as this was his first time being boarded. From the photos he was very happy and loves getting to play with other dogs. Kana and Brian are very caring and you can tell they enjoy what they do.”

“Melody did great job talking care Max . She sanded me pictures and write the notes about the Max and how he loves to cuddle with her and follow her around. Melody is very nice and she loves being taken care of Max . I’m really appreciate her.”

“Kathie was amazing with our pampered pooch while we were out of town. She treated her like part if the family. She also sent lots of photos. I would highly recommend her for your pet!”

“We left our 8 month old Golden Retriever for the first time this weekend. As a first time doggy mom, I was SO nervous!!! I had full confidence in Jeremy being able to take care of Ralphie because of all of the amazing reviews. Well, the reviews are no lie because Jeremy exceeded our expectations. Jeremy is excellent at communication and we loved to see the daily pics and videos of our boy!! Ralphie looked like he was having such a fun time. He made sure to update us on his behavior and how he was getting along with other pups. We will definitely be using Jeremy in the future and are planning to let Ralphie go play at his house more often for doggy daycare! Thank you, Jeremy!”

We have booked with Micayla several times for boarding at her house and our dog always comes back to us tired out and happy. She sends us adorable pics throughout our dog’s stay as she is playing with other pups in Micayla’s care and it looks like our dog is smiling in each pic:) Will definitely re-book with her when the need arises. Thank you!

Kyley and her family took great care of Dot on her 2 night stay. I received regular updates with photos on how well she was doing which allowed me to enjoy my time away especially since this was my first time away from her since I adopted her. I will definitely book with them again. She had so much fun, she’s tuckered out!

Kirsten was wonderful with Uma! She took great care of her, kept me updated throughout the stay, and made me feel comfortable knowing Uma was in good hands. She was attentive to Uma’s needs, patient with her puppy energy, and genuinely cared about making sure she was comfortable. Communication was excellent, and I really appreciated the updates and photos. It was clear that Uma was well cared for and happy during her stay. I would definitely recommend Kirsten to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and caring sitter, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.
