*No dogs over 25 pounds* **Please read boarding** I’m a dedicated pet parent myself. I’ve had my pug, Crudo, since he was almost 2 months old, so I understand the responsibility, patience, and attention that pets need at every stage of life. Caring for him has given me hands-on experience with puppy care, establishing routines, basic training, exercise, feeding schedules, and recognizing when something may be wrong. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs playtime, walks, companionship, or extra patience and attention, I will provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I am reliable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs so owners can feel confident while they’re away. **BOARDING** I teach full-time Monday through Friday. Due to my schedule I can offer drop off starting at 4:30P. I can offer potty breaks every 7 hours. Whenever my husband comes between school and work, he can give the dogs a potty break. Once I am home, I can offer potty breaks every 0-2 hours in the evenings and weekends. In the weekend drop off can be anytime. During breaks (Christmas/New Year’s), I am home and can offer breaks every 0-2 hours.

I’m not new to Rover, but this was I first using Karla for my two boys (Benny & Teddy). These boys are my babies… they’re special to me. I’m pretty sure most pet owners feel the same way about their fur babies. So it’s important for me to have someone who is caring, attentive, trusting and reliable watch over them while I’m gone… especially when I’ll out of the country. Karla met all of these expectations. My original sitter canceled on me a few days before my trip… which is stressful. Karla was available and willing to do a meet & greet with a short notice. Immediately my guys were comfortable with her which made me feel comfortable. She was great with regular updates and photos of them… it looked like they were on vacation too😁. If I sent a message, she always responded in a timely manner. We will definitely be back.
Karla took great care of our Auzzie on 4th of July weekend. Definitely recommend her!
Karla has taken care of my precious dog Mora when I am out of town. Karla is a loving, caring and very genuine person, she is responsible and communicates well. My dog Mora was sick when I had to make a trip to Nevada and Karla did not mind having her under her care and give Mora her medicine as prescribed. I would definitely use Karla again, as she kept in contact with me about Mora and because she treated Mora like her own pet.
I’ve known karla for over 10 years and she has always been a kind and helpful person. She is a loving pet person. Always treating her own pet likes it’s her son. I have no doubt that karla will do the same with another persons pet.

Schedule
I’m a teacher, so I’m usually away during the school day and home in the evening. Even when I’m at work, your dog is still an important part of my daily routine and will receive plenty of love, attention, and care when I’m home. My husband also helps with the dogs whenever he has a gap between school and work, so they’ll have extra company and attention throughout the day. We both truly enjoy having dogs around and want every pup in our home to feel comfortable, loved, and cared for!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a big, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get some fresh air. I also have a friendly pug. I have the flexibility to separate dogs into different areas of my home when needed, whether they need some quiet time or simply a little space. At the same time, dogs are welcome to roam around and feel comfortable in the home rather than being confined to one area. My goal is to create a safe, relaxed, and loving environment where every dog feels at home and well cared for.

A typical day
A typical day is relaxed, fun, and filled with lots of love and attention! Dogs can spend time lounging and relaxing on the sofa, playing with toys, or hanging out around the house. We also spend time outside in the big fenced yard where they can run, play, and get some fresh air. When the weather permits, we will go on walks around the neighborhood. I make sure they feel comfortable and included, so they’re welcome to enjoy the home and follow along with our daily routine.
