About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

“Thank you Ava and great communication.”

About: I am a self employed therapist and I would consider myself to be an animal empath. From the time I was 3 years old and fell in love with my first dog, a beagle named Lolli, animals have played a huge part in my life. For many years I volunteered at the PAWS animal shelter in Lynnwood, where I got loads of experience walking practically every size and breed of dog. I have 12 years experience housesitting/dog/cat sitting for friends and clients when I lived in Bermuda, as many people travel on and off the island. I was inspired to come to Rover as my beloved dog of over 15 years went over the rainbow bridge a few months ago. I soooo miss our walks and of course his special dog energy! I got to meet so many people in my neighborhood thanks to Jackson. I've had many dogs, including my own, who needed daily meds. As a massage therapist, I can give your dog therapeutic touch. I'm very active and I'm comfortable walking most any size/shape of dog. I also have a portable stroller for your elder dog (under 40 pounds) so they can still get outside and enjoy a walk! I've been self employed since 1994 and I'm responsible and trustworthy, while maintaining a good sense of humor! I look forward to meeting you and your four legged friends! I am currently self employed and I can set my client appointments to accommodate your pet's walking/care schedule. This gives me good flexibility for morning/evening walks, or daytime visits, etc. I am currently not boarding pets at my home. I am happy to house sit for you in your home so that your dog(s) is comfortable in his/her own environment.

About: I’ve always been surrounded by pets, as my father is a veterinarian. I grew up with dogs and cats, but have been around pets ranging from lizards to quails. I’m a bigger guy who can handle stronger animals if needed. I am currently on break from university and have lots of time on my hands! I am available to take care of animals everyday for the summer months, up until mid September. I cannot bring animals over to my apartment, as it is small and I share it with others. I am however happy to stay and take care of any pets that might need more consistent care. I am happy to do overnights or just visits, and have a car that I can use to take any pets anywhere they might need or want to go.

“Maddy has been an amazing addition to my busy routine! Highly recommend her. My dog doesn't usually like or trust people off of her first meeting, but she instantly fell in love with Maddy.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have trained dogs in the past, I plan on giving your dog all the attention he/she needs and more. Plus if you’d like I can train them for good behavior or party tricks 🎈🎉 I am available Wednesday-Saturday anytime after 3:00pm. I’m a western student and I also work as a dish washer at a Thai restaurant so I will try to accommodate as best I can for you. I plan on walking your dogs playing with them feeding them and just being around them as much as I can. I can also give them baths as well.

About: I have been working with animals my whole life, including big dogs, senior dogs, reactive dogs, puppies, cats, feral cats, chickens, goats, horses, and more! I have previous professional pet sitting experience, as well as having grown up caring for, training, and rehabilitating animals on my family's property, which has given me a grounded approach to pet care--nothing phases me! I approach my work with animals with a combination of gentleness and firmness that will help your pet feel loved and secure (while also keeping them out of trouble!). No creature too big or small--I'll love your baby like they're my own! I understand the anxieties of entrusting your pet to someone else's care; that's why I am so excited and honored to be able to help you feel secure that your animal is in good, experienced hands. I just graduated from WWU, so I'm spending my summer doing pet care and working outdoors, which gives me a lot of availability and flexibility. I'm available during the weekday, on weekends, and overnight! I'm well experienced with dogs who are escape artists, big dogs, and dogs who like to cause general mischief, so I know the challenges they can present in the home. I'm excited to both make sure your pet is safe and happy, and your home is protected from mischief!

“Bella was great! She was on time, had great communications skills, and knows about how to handle dogs. We will definitely use her again.”

“Chelsey is a very dedicated and diligent dog walker. She told me that my dog had been sick on a walk with her and kindly took care of him (cleaned up a nasty mess). I so appreciate Chelsey and that I could trust that she was taking extra good care of him when he wasn't feeling good!”
