About: I have taken care of dogs for my whole life. My neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for their pets for years. I love furry friends and spending time with them! When I come to play with and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to giving them love and excellent care. I am currently working part-time, so I will have quite a flexible schedule to spend time with your furry friends all at your request. I have two senior dogs; a beagle and a border collie/lab mix! They still love to be active and play in our backyard. Your pet’s safety and happiness is as important to me as my own pups’. I will do what makes your pups most comfortable; whether that be playing with their favorite toys, walking them through the neighborhood, giving them much-deserved belly rubs, etc.
“Craig took great care of my babies. I felt comfortable leaving them in his care & was able to enjoy time with my family. I will definitely be going away more often ! Thank you, Craig for being an amazing, pet loving human! I appreciate you.”

I’m able to step out at different times throughout the day to care for your fur babies. I offer in-home pet sitting so your cats and dogs stay relaxed in their own space. With lifelong experience caring for cats (and two of my own at home) and plenty of time around friendly dogs, I follow your routine exactly—feeding, litter/walks, play, meds, and lots of love and attention. Daily photo updates included so you can enjoy your trip worry-free.

“Jessica and Kayla absolutely exceeded our expectations when trusting a rover sitter with our pets. They’re communicative, punctual, and amazing with all animals. We will for sure be booking with them in the future!”

“First time using this service. Jeff was awesome with my dog. Very reliable and very friendly and great with my dog. I would highly recommend Jeff for your dog watching needs.”

“We are so happy to have had Belkis care for our pup. We did the Myrtle Beach Marathon and needed help with our dog while we were running. Belkis came the day before to meet Toby and find our camp spot as we were also camping at the beach. She was wonderful with him and so accommodating to us. I highly recommend using Belkis for your pet care needs!”

“Lauren did amazing with my four month old puppy! I’ve had a struggle trying to find a good sitter for her but I trusted her completely! She gave photos and very detailed notes throughout the drop in that made me feel comfortable. I’ll be using her in the future!”

“Kelly took great care of our fur babies while we were away. She spent time with them and interacted to make sure they were doing well. She was very reliable and we will be using her again the next time we go away.”

About: Back in 2022 I had one girl ask if I can watch her dog and I told her of course I love dogs and then after that I had so many more people asked me after I told them that I watch dogs and cats and ever since then I absolutely loved what I did. Seeing different types of pets with different personalities made me love it more. So I work throughout the week and I wanted to start only on the weekends first just to get myself through the door but maybe in the future I can make this a full time job Mostly a lot of the animals I took care of I got to be apart of there homes all of them so I got to stay over take care of them play with them take them on long walks feed them and just show them lots and lots of love and attention cause that’s what they need. Every animal is different so whatever the client tells me I will follow instructions through and I love to send lots of pictures of there animals to clients to let them know they are safe and in good hands
“Mikaela was fantastic! This was our first time leaving our pup but she really made him feel at ease and gave him extra attention and love while we were away and she made sure to keep us updated with lots of pictures along the way. Our Cat doesn't like ANYONE but us but she seemed to take to Mikaela very well and even let her pet her! I will definitely be asking Mikaela to care for our animals again if we need it!”

About: I'm a lifelong lover of all animals. I've volunteered in shelters, worked in a dog daycare, and have been pet sitting for friends and family for as long as I can remember. I go out of my way to pet every dog I see. I love being outside and am happy to take your pet on the walk or outing of your preference. I definitely practice safety first and am also pet CPR and first aid certified. I am comfortable with special needs pets and am willing to administer most medications. I have had epileptic pets. I have immense respect for special requests and requirements. If you have a special request, please do not hesitate to ask. I view pets as family and will take care of yours as if he/she were my own. I am available typically in the late afternoon and early evenings. Right now I have more free time on Sundays and Mondays. I am happy to accommodate your pets! Currently, I am offering drop-in and walking services in the immediate Market Common area. I am new to Myrtle Beach. Previously I worked in public safety for 16 years; I am responsible and trustworthy. I can provide references upon request.

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was a child. I have been involved in fostering for local rescues & shelters for 5 years I have co-ran my own 501c3 rescue for almost 3 years I do work full time, so I am gone Monday- Friday from roughly 7A.M until 6 P.M. (depending on how far you are from my job). I drive Uber on the weekends during the summer months, but those hours are flexible & can vary based on your pet's needs. I have a fenced yard, but I have 3 senior dogs of my own and because of running the rescue, I usually have a foster dog as well so taking a dog into my home would be more challenging, but if I were to drop in or stay at your home, your dog(s) would get all of the one on one attention &time that they require

My goal is for both you and your pet to have peace of mind, knowing they are in a safe and caring environment.

Nikole was absolutely amazing with our dog! Our Doberman has pretty severe separation anxiety, and we were so worried about leaving her. Thanks to Nikole, my husband and I were finally able to enjoy a vacation knowing our dog was in caring, capable hands. She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. She stayed with our dog until she was calm and settled, giving her the comfort and reassurance she needed. She also kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that Nikole genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and goes above and beyond to make them feel safe and loved. We are so grateful for everything she did and can’t recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, Nikole is the one to call!

Emily was AMAZING! Not only was she patient with our cats, gain their trust, and keep them engaged, but she left some of the best photos I’ve seen and some of the funniest commentary about their daily interactions. Emily was such a joy to meet and you can instantly see how much she cares for the animals. We are very lucky to have found her on here :) 100% would book again.

Dawn does a great job with our cats. From our first visit with her our cats could tell she was a cat person and were more friendly than they usually are with strangers. She makes sure that she gives them treats and pets- even when they aren’t cooperating! We trust leaving our pets with her.

I was a little on edge to leave my dogs while going out of town. After meeting kadyn before hand I already knew my dogs would be in good hands. She is so warm and friendly. They immediately warmed up to her. She is amazing at keeping you updated and it honestly felt like I was still with them. From the looks of it my dogs had the best time also. Would 100% book again!

I am very pleased with Tanya. She kept my dog on a schedule. She also sent pictures every day. My dog looked great when we got home. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone I know. This was the first time we left my dog, but Tawny but us at ease the first time we saw her. Thanks for everything Tawny!!!!!!
We love Nicole! We’ve used her twice now for drop in visits & she takes such great care of our 2 dogs & kitten as if they were her own. She always goes above and beyond. It’s such a relief to be able to leave knowing my animals are being so well cared for while I’m gone

Christa was amazing from the moment we did the Meet & Greet. She was very patient, gentle, and delicate with our Lola, who is usually scared and anxious. She had great communication and was always sending pictures. I would highly recommend her without hesitation.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
