About: Hi, I started pet sitting when I was earning my BS in Animal Science from LSU. Over the years I’ve worked as a vet tech and at medical/ veterinary schools/ teaching hospitals. I’ve been a basic skills/ obedience trainer and watched clients’ pets at their homes or brought them into mine for 35 yrs. I live in a quiet neighborhood 6 miles from Myrtle Beach airport with my 1 year old Lab and his 8 year old All American cat. We love other animals and are very understanding of friends’ individual personalities. We’d love to add your family to ours. I only host one client family's request at a time. Your furry kids will only play with my dog and cat. Caution: let us know if your pets are on a diet because we love treats to bond and offer positive reinforcement. Hope to hear from you soon. I work from home and spend most of the day with my laptop outside on the patio. There’s also a dog door so the pups can come in and out it will if they need the yard or AC. Even when I’m in the office, the door is open. Generally, your pups will only be crated between 10 PM - 6 AM and 6 PM to 8 PM while I’m at the gym. Other than that, my eyes are on them all the time so they can run loose. I do make exceptions for older and/or well-behaved guests. I believe that each animal is an individual so I avoid broad assumptions. Please feel free to ask any questions. I believe in setting pups up for success. This means eliminating situations where they could get into trouble -such as a young dog being loose at night and having an accident, chewing prohibited item, etc. Unfortunately, I’ve seen accidents happen. So I know they can. I treat everyone else’s loved pet as I would a child. It’s a big responsibility that I take very seriously.

About: Back in 2021 I rescued my cat that I have today and I absolutely love him with all my heart and even since having him I’ve looked out for my friends cats and even adopted another one with my fiance who now is with us all the time. Cats are so different and so loving.

I have been involved in fostering for local rescues & shelters for 5 years I have co-ran my own 501c3 rescue for almost 3 years I do work full time, so I am gone Monday- Friday from roughly 7A.M until 6 P.M. (depending on how far you are from my job). I drive Uber on the weekends during the summer months, but those hours are flexible & can vary based on your pet's needs. I have a fenced yard, but I have 3 senior dogs of my own and because of running the rescue, I usually have a foster dog as well so taking a dog into my home would be more challenging, but if I were to drop in or stay at your home, your dog(s) would get all of the one on one attention &time that they require

I really enjoyed getting pictures each day of my cat exploding Amanda’s house. Amanda was also flexible about when I could drop off and pick up my cat when my schedule changed, and she refunded me $30 when I needed to leave a day earlier than expected. About: As a pet owner for 20+ years, I have been blessed to care for dogs through every stage of life—from puppies to seniors, including a blind dog and one with mobility challenges. While I am new to Rover, I am not new to the genuine attention, patience, and love that fur babies deserve. About: Back in 2022 I had one girl ask if I can watch her dog and I told her of course I love dogs and then after that I had so many more people asked me after I told them that I watch dogs and cats and ever since then I absolutely loved what I did. Seeing different types of pets with different personalities made me love it more. About: When I was in high school, I use to babysit along with dog sitting for a lady my family knew. This gave me first hand experience and prepared me for it. My weekends are open with plenty of time for fun adventures! I can be more flexible than most with my work schedule during the week. I am half office, half remote. This enables me more time to spend with the pets in my care. There is a dog on the premise, but she is very friendly, and can be avoided if needed. The yard is unfenced but perfect for potty breaks. The street is not busy with traffic and ideal for short/medium walks.

“Jeff is awesome! Book with Jeff. We felt 100% confident with him and his family keeping our Australian Shepherd for a week while we were away. We did a meet and greet with him and they got along right away. He took her on multiple walks, played a lot, and let her be comfortable around his home. About: My wife and I are animal lovers and have had pets all of our life. Now we are retired and have all the time needed to care for your beloved dog/dogs. Being retired we have all the time needed to spend time and care for your furry friend. We are available for short or longer term care as well . We have a fenced in yard. Plus we have our 3 year old dog who loves company. He is a big and sweet boy who will make your dogs stay fun.
