“Susan is delightful and so reliable! We will absolutely be using her again to care for our fur babies 💞”

“So grateful! This was my first time using Rover and I am thrilled with the match. Kathryn was awesome and took great care of our kitten. Our kitten was happy and very relaxed and this made for an easy transition. Kathryn kept us up to date with sweet pics which made it even easier to enjoy the trip and not worry at all about a thing. Kathryn also took wonderful care of our house. She even noticed some of our plants needed water and offered to take care of that. Very much looking forward to working with Kathryn again and Peanut has made a fast new friend.”

“Lux was absolutely fantastic with our sweet old kitty. She is reliable, dependable and super easy to communicate with. She sent us lots of pictures and little notes about how our cat was doing. We would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.”

About: I've been in the pet care field for nearly a decade and a pet parent for more than 12 years. My senior dog has taught me a lot about her care as she has aged. So I understand that it isn't just about the walk but about patience & companionship, too. I've also cared for feline friends at their homes while their families have been away. I have plenty of time for your dog or cat Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday for neighborhood walks, local outings, daycare or litter box and play. Where I live there is an enclosed deck with plenty of toys where we can play and take a daycare break together while you're running errands. There's also AC indoors when it's too hot outside. If a medicated pill or tablet is needed, we can give that with a pill pocket or other snack but I will not administer injected medications or fluids.

“Kelly was so sweet with our cat; sent amazing, detailed updates; and was super flexible with updates to my instructions. We knew Sheila was in great hands!”

About: I was a veterinary technician for almost 13 years. I worked with large and small animals. I also groomed animals for 4 years. I owned and ran my grooming business out of my home in St. Helena. I am a CSR at a vet hospital in Fairfax. I need to be home to care for my mother who is having health struggles so looking for more work closer to home. I am caring for my mother at home. I have lots of free time to fit in my schedule for walks, visiting homes and checking on all kinds of pets. I am open to exotics also. My boarding prices only include one 30 minute walk out of the home a day. You must pay for extra walks. Otherwise we have a very large back yard for free play. I do not kennel animals they stay in a room. I have a fenced yard and 3 friendly cats. We have room for your doggy crates, beds, and toys if need be. I am also willing to come by houses and visit. I will not do over night stays but doggies are welcome to stay overnight here at my home.

“Hoi dropped in and helped ensure our two cats were well taken care of while we were away. It was the second time we booked Hoi after watching our cats once last year. It's safe to say she simply goes above and beyond. Not only is she trustworthy and a great communicator, but she includes the most thoughtful notes and photos in her check-in updates. If you're looking for someone you can count on to watch your furry family member(s), I can't imagine anyone better than Hoi.”

About: Loving, Reliable Pet Care with a Flexible Schedule 🐶🐾 I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from small seniors to large energetic breeds. I’ve raised a puppy of my own and have been professionally paid to house-sit and care for multiple dogs (up to five at once). I understand how to match a dog’s energy, follow routines, and create a calm, dependable environment. I'm confident with big dogs (up to 100 lbs) and always tailor my care to each pet’s personality and needs. I’m currently in a flexible, open-schedule period and available most weekdays and weekends. I can often accommodate last-minute requests and daytime visits. If your pet thrives on routine, I’m happy to set up regular visits or walks. My availability may change slightly week-to-week, but I’ll always communicate clearly and keep my calendar updated. I take pet care seriously — you’re trusting me with a member of your family, and I don’t take that lightly. I always follow your instructions closely, check gates and leashes, and make sure pets are secure, safe, and comfortable at all times. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos during visits, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. I’m calm under pressure, and I work to create a low-stress experience for both you and your pet.

About: I have been house and pet sitting for over 10 years from young puppies to senior cats. I mainly do it for extra income and for family, friends and referrals. I love learning about your pet's personality and quirks! I am currently in-between jobs so I have extreme flexibility. I often take dogs for walks while their owners are at work. I love going for hikes and to the beach. However, I always tailor my services to the owner and pet’s preference. I often both pet and housesit when owners will be out of town. My flexibility, kindness, cleanliness and communicative nature has built trust with my clients over the years. I respect house rules and make your pet the priority. I know your home is your safe space, and that’s why before I leave your home I make sure everything is exactly how you left it so that you can come home and immediately relax. I’ve been told by clients things like “our home is cleaner than how we left it” and “it doesn’t even seem like you lived here for a day, let alone 2 weeks!”

Rachel L.
“Kind, caring and fun - everything you want in a pet sitter. Rachel is not only great with humans but with pets too, I have seen her interact with the various dogs she has house sat and the extra care she puts into it like taking them to the beach and giving them lots of love and attention over just walking them. She has a great attention to detail, is very trustworthy and is great at communicating. Can’t forget to add that she is also great with our furry felines as well. I highly recommend Rachel and know that having her around will bring you peace of mind.”
Sleepy Hollow cat parents share their Rover experiences
Trisha was lovely to work with. Her professionalism and care for our cat exceeded all expectations! She went the extra mile and really connected with our little guy when we were out of town. She sent updates and photos every check in. We were so happy to have found Trisha and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a thoughtful, kind and caring pet-sitter.

Lydia was amazing! I have had my cat for 5 years, and on my most recent trip, I was really able to relax knowing that my cat was in excellent hands. Lydia responded super quickly, sent pictures and thorough updates, and I can tell my cat felt very loved and cared for while I was away--this really stood out because my cat can be a little shy, but she just loved Lydia from the moment they met. I highly recommend booking Lydia, she is a true professional who clearly takes pride in her work.

Grace was so great with our cat Peanut! She was always prompt, had great communication, and sent the sweetest photos of Peanut so we were never worried/stressed. It felt like Peanut was in great hands while we were away. Would 100% recommend her services!

Emory was super dependable, took great care of our cats and sent us updates with every visit. We would definitely hire her again!

Megan was responsive to messages, comfortable with instructions, reliable through the entire process, sent regular check-ins and photos. Her friendliness was a joy.

Great experience. Jennifer was the perfect sitter for our family (cat). She is attentive, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. We hit it off quickly. She is easy going, and genuinely loves what she does. I will definitely book again.

Samantha was so great with our cat Peanut! She was perfect with communication (we loved the cute photos of Peanut), she was always on time for her visits, and Peanut’s litter box area was spotless when we returned. 10/10 would recommend!

Taylor was great! She is so kind, respectful, responsible--everything! She sent pictures and asked clarifying questions when necessary. It's hard to find reliable and trustworthy help for fur babies. Taylor is a pet sitter you can count on! Thank you so much Taylor!
