Here’s a little about my pet experience: I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was fifteen years old. I have experience with reptiles, birds, cats, and dogs. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, trail walks, and simply crocheting at home with the tv on. I like to watch the next Netflix drama hit, obviously. I have activities to do with high energy dogs and even low energy ones. See you’ve got a friend in me. I’ve got you through the highs and lows. I have open availability most of the week. About: I’ve have taken care of dogs ever since I was a teenager. I love taking care of dogs they bring me such a joy. I know that each dog has their own personality and I love seeing them shine in there own ways. I have taken care of dogs as young as 6 months old to dogs that are 9 years old. I know that senior dogs definitely need more attention when it comes to potty breaks. I also have changed dog diapers. I also grown up with large dog breeds such as Pitbulls, Rottweilers and Huskies. About: I'm an Animal science major on the pre veterinary track at UC Davis which gives be background to provide the best care for our animals! I am a current college student on summer break! I have three household pets with one being my cat. I fit my schedule around theirs as I know routine builds a great foundation! About: I have been a caregiver since 2006. I started with after-school care, and house sitting. I started doing drop-ins for my neighbors when they would go on trips. Their dogs recognized me so they trusted there wouldn’t be any trouble when I came in. I like knowing friends and family rely on me. About: My family had puppy dog named Hazel who we had for about 3 years. I used to play fetch with her in the backyard when I’d come home from school when I was around 10. I’d help with baths, walking her, my mom taught me how bring her inside when I was home alone doing homework, she behaved great and protected me well. A few years later, she passed from choking while eating something that I think had a bone in it and that was the first experience of heartbreak/loss. A few years after that, I adopted my current pet cat on my birthday, Ace, who I love so much. I’ve always loved animals and give pets to dogs whenever I have permission to, my best friend has many dogs so when I go over her house, I get all the cuddles and get drooled on, which I’m used to at this point. I love watching dog training videos and educating myself as I get older so when I finally get a dog again, as an adult, I want to be prepared and educated on how to protect their health, feed them properly and keep them safe with proper nutrition, exercise and training. I would personally love to get myself a Doberman or German Shepherd (Like Hazel was). I often go to my aunts house who has multiple chunky french bulldogs and help her in anyway I can, I enjoy how sweet dogs are and would love to help do any training techniques you’d love your little doggo to be working on while you are away. I am also in the process of my goal of losing 100lbs! So this helps me get the exercise I need while doing something I’m passionate about! Weekday and Weekends for now, preferably during the Morning & Afternoons on Weekdays and anytime as long as there is a day notice beforehand so I can clear my schedule just for your pet.
