About: Your pup will always be in my company, since I’m always at home. Lots of outside time and walks through my neighborhood’s local forest trail. Your dog(s) will have their own space in my kitchen, separate from my dog’s personal space. I am a responsible homeschooling mother of an easy-going, 6 year old daughter ( she loves animals). I am a ‘Stay at Home’ Mom, currently homeschooling my 6 year old daughter through a fantastic charter school. I make my own schedule and can easily accommodate your pet’s schedule into my own. My daughter is very well-behaved, with an easy going disposition, which makes animals love her. My husband also loves all animals, but will not be care-taking for your animals, as he is works full time. I will be the full-time caretaker of your beloved fur-friends. I have 2 portions to my property . One side is fenced on a hillside with a small astro-turfed area for potty breaks. The other side is open with a small water fall and full Astro turf. This gives dogs lots of time outside. I will also keep your dog in the kitchen, where I spend the majority of my time cooking and teaching my daughter kindergarten + computer work at the kitchen table. Your pup will also enjoy the walks around the neighborhood, which includes a lot of trees and nature.

That being said, depending on what level of care you desire for your pet, I am happy and comfortable to take dogs for walks or to dog parks, play fetch or hide and seek, practice commands, and give all the belly rubs that they can stand. If you prefer they sleep in a crate, we can definitely manage that; or if they are like my pup and want to use me as a body pillow at night, I would be more that happy to oblige! I’m experienced with females in heat, regular potty routines, and providing a balance of indoor comfort and outdoor playtime. I’m home full-time Monday–Friday and provide constant supervision. I only step out briefly (about 15 minutes) for school drop-offs and pick-ups, and I monitor pets during that time with a Furbo camera. Weekend boarding is available with advance notice! My home is cage-free with supervised free roam, but I’m happy to accommodate crates or specific care needs if that’s what your dog is used to. I also offer baths during their stay if needed. I have two friendly female Frenchies who love making new playmates, and I can also keep dogs separated if preferred. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority!

After the loss of my beloved 20-year-old cat, I found joy in walking and playing with a neighbor's Husky, helping to fill that void. Currently, I don't have any pets of my own, so your furry friend will be my top priority and cherished companion until you return. I moved to the mountains five years ago and work primarily from home, allowing me to provide plenty of attention and care. I am very hands-on, with a wealth of love to give, and I have a natural knack for connecting with animals. My cat used to snuggle with me every night, and I can't wait to welcome more little fur-balls into my life to cuddle. My standard nightly rate includes up to 2 pets. In addition to my passion for animals, I have completed a cat and dog CPR certification course through the Red Cross, ensuring that I am prepared for unexpected situations that may arise. I also hold my own liability insurance underwritten by Lloyds of London, separate from Rover's insurance, giving you peace of mind while your pet is in my care. Furthermore, I have successfully passed an enhanced background check by a third-party provider. Calvin can be a bit anxious but took to Karina right away. It was comforting to know that we could count on her to take Calvin out at the prescribed times and didn't have to worry. This was Calvin's first time with a dog walker (he used to go to a pet boarding facility) and we felt he would be more comfortable staying in his own home - with Karina's help, that turned out to be just the right thing to do! In the future, we'll definitely use Karina whenever she's available!”
About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I grew up with 5 dogs, 9 cats, and several small animals. I have experience taking care of pets of all ages, puppy to elder! Now at the age of 24, I have a dog and a snake that I look after. My family relies on me to feed, bathe, walk, and care for our pets. About: Hello, I’ve walked dogs for two years. Friends and neighbors trusted me to make sure their pets get their daily walk and food. I fostered a dog for 6 months and have a cat named Naomi. Fun fact I rescued my cat as a kitten that was found in my backyard. Originally thought it was a girl but Naomi is a boy and the name has stayed! I took Sugar after one of my fathers friends was about to sender her. She is smart and I have trained her to be friendly with other dogs as she did not socialize before she met my family. Having a half lab half German shepherd means you have to have constant walks and high energy but it also keeps me in shape to walk and play with your furry family members. Currently I have open availability during the summer. During the school year I work as an avid tutor/ substitute teacher for FCPS. I’m also a student at Marymount university! I study accounting and finance. Classes are online and at night. I always check gates, fences, and doors before I enter and leave houses. It helps make sure that everything is secure. I like to have contact to make sure I know how I can enter the house and where to park. As well as know where the pets food, water, leash, toys, and bags are. I will update and send pictures to make sure you know your pet is in good hands.
