“Elma stayed with our two dogs in Lake Arrowhead for two full weeks. They are like our children so we are very picky about leaving them when we travel, but we’re new to living up on the mountain so we had to try someone new (our previous house/dogsitter is just too far away). We are so happy we picked Elma! She sent photos and videos of them almost every day, and they looked super happy and entertained, so that set our minds at ease while we were gone. Upon returning, we found the house clean and the dogs very happy to see us, but not at all anxious or overly needy, which tells me they were very well taken care of while we were away. Five stars!!!!”

About: I'm an Animal science major on the pre veterinary track at UC Davis which gives be background to provide the best care for our animals! I am a current college student on summer break! I have three household pets with one being my cat. I fit my schedule around theirs as I know routine builds a great foundation! I follow any regulations or information provided for the pet specifically to ensure safety such as medications . I make sure to learn the animals behaviors as well as take things at the animals pace to ensure safety on both ends. I also use my animal science knowledge from college as I am an animal science student.

About: Hello my furry friend lovers!! I have cared for many different kinds of animals in my life, some of which include dogs,cats,birds,mice,rabbits,guinea pigs,fish,snakes,goats,chickens and now pot belly pigs. We love making homemade treats in our house so I am currently taking some pet nutrition classes to safely make special dietary treats. I am comfortable with all ages and sizes. I would be more than happy to meet you before any final decisions are made so that we can discuss everything there is to know about your pet. I have experience with different illnesses and medications from working with a rescue where I adopted my own angel with a neurological disorder. We absolutely adore pets and I can promise you that you and your baby will be treated like family. I am a stay at home wife that is taking pet nutrition and business classes so I could someday open my own pet boutique where everything is homemade. I promise no potty breaks will be missed and your baby gets all the love and cuddles they can handle. 😊 We have dogs, cats and pot belly pigs for your pet to play with in our fenced yard but we also have big crates for separation if needed. Your baby will be allowed on our furniture to sleep and get cuddles unless you say otherwise lol we do love our snuggles.

About: Although I dont have any pets myself, I have had plenty experience working and taking care of cats and dogs. I am more than qualified to help because I am patient, and passionate about caring for pets. I have a flexible schedule I usually work weekends part time at a restaurant so I have the time to be able to walk or feed any cat or dog any day of the week. I dont have any pets myself so that would give me the time to be able to help take care of others. It depends on the standards of the owner, with dogs its important to walk them with a secure leash and make sure to let them walk around and sniff before doing their bussiness, I will always pick up after them to ensure a clean neighborhood. With cats and dogs you want to make sure to open the door slowly when walking inside and keep them indoors so they are safe.

About: Hello, I’ve walked dogs for two years. Friends and neighbors trusted me to make sure their pets get their daily walk and food. I fostered a dog for 6 months and have a cat named Naomi. Fun fact I rescued my cat as a kitten that was found in my backyard. Originally thought it was a girl but Naomi is a boy and the name has stayed! I took Sugar after one of my fathers friends was about to sender her. She is smart and I have trained her to be friendly with other dogs as she did not socialize before she met my family. Having a half lab half German shepherd means you have to have constant walks and high energy but it also keeps me in shape to walk and play with your furry family members. Currently I have open availability during the summer. During the school year I work as an avid tutor/ substitute teacher for FCPS. I’m also a student at Marymount university! I study accounting and finance. Classes are online and at night. I always check gates, fences, and doors before I enter and leave houses. It helps make sure that everything is secure. I like to have contact to make sure I know how I can enter the house and where to park. As well as know where the pets food, water, leash, toys, and bags are. I will update and send pictures to make sure you know your pet is in good hands.

About: I prioritize clear, timely communication with owners and provide honest updates, photos, and notes after each visit. I have taken care of several different pets such as cats and dogs. I will always ensure the best care for the pets under my supervision. I can also keep up with high energy pets, but also provide calm energy for the pets who like to just hang around. I am currently working part time and will be attending medical school starting in the fall. My weekends are almost always free and can frequently provide overnight care during the week. I will ensure to provide clear and frequent communication with host when taking care of your pets in your home or when visiting. Trust is a priority to me when taking care of your pets so I will ensure it is earned from both your pets and from yourself.

About: An animal and nature lover at heart, I am eager to spend time with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, or any other pets you may have. I have experience with obedience training, grooming, as well as administering medications and meeting special dietary needs. Personally, I have a wonderful, smart and energetic Border Collie/Aussie mix who loves making new friends. We both enjoy playing fetch and tug, learning new tricks and practicing our commands to earn treats. Please let me know how I can help to keep your non-human family member safe, loved, and entertained! I am self-employed and generally have a very flexible schedule. I do often spend stretches of time out of town (mainly LA and Bay Area), so I appreciate scheduling gigs a bit in advance so I can plan accordingly. No one knows your pet better than you, so I will always defer to your lead as to what your pet needs and prefers. That being said, depending on what level of care you desire for your pet, I am happy and comfortable to take dogs for walks or to dog parks, play fetch or hide and seek, practice commands, and give all the belly rubs that they can stand. If you prefer they sleep in a crate, we can definitely manage that; or if they are like my pup and want to use me as a body pillow at night, I would be more that happy to oblige! Just let me know what you are comfortable with! If needed, I am also open to hosting pets at my home (with fenced in yard).

Bubba can be aggressive, depending on how you approach him, and he immediately ran up to her and gave her a kiss 🥹 He won’t do a lot of things while I’m gone, but she got him to go outside, potty, fetch, and eat cheese - things he wouldn’t even do for my family off the bat. Here’s a little about my pet experience: I have volunteered at animal shelters since I was fifteen years old. I have experience with reptiles, birds, cats, and dogs. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, trail walks, and simply crocheting at home with the tv on. I like to watch the next Netflix drama hit, obviously. I have activities to do with high energy dogs and even low energy ones. See you’ve got a friend in me. I’ve got you through the highs and lows. I have open availability most of the week. I am open to any routines owners would like me to continue for their pets. This can be related to food, exercise, medication, and so on. My dog is kennel trained, so he can be separated from any other dogs I’m sitting if the dog I am sitting is not socialized. However, my dog is socialized and will be happy to have a playmate. I can take your pet out as often as you require and I can transport dogs to the dog park if that is okay. I also have extra feeding and water bowls, as well as toys and treats for any dog I am sitting. I also have a fenced yard.

About: I’ve worked with pets of all kinds for more than 20 years. I’ve worked with cats, dogs, birds, fish, lizards, snakes, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, toads, hermit crabs, and snails. I do charge slightly more for snails because while slow, they are slippery little suckers. I am very organized. I focus on having a routine for the animals because they need it and appreciate it. I know most animals appreciate predictability and attention. I only go to a client’s home. I would rather see the pet on their turf and follow their rules as opposed to taking them out of their safety zone.

“Parker was great with our pups for a nearly 3 week house sitting stay. He was very responsive and took wonderful care of all 3 of our huskies! Huskies can be very demanding on attention and care and Parker handled it with ease - not to mention walking 3 huskies twice a day is no easy task! The pups all took to him right away when we did our meet and greet and we felt very comfortable with having him stay in our home so we could enjoy our vacation without worry. He was very communicative and took great care of the house. He went above and beyond with helping keep the place clean and watering our plants outside! We feel we can take more trips now without worry as we have a great sitter available and knows our pups through and through. We highly recommend Parker as a dog sitter who will take wonderful care of your furry loved ones and of course your home.”

About: Hello my name is Sierra and I can’t wait to meet all of your Fur Babies ! :) I’m 22 years old I’ve been taking care of animals for a year now this has been the most loving and passionate job I’ve ever done that I really enjoyed. I’m Currently going back to school for Pharmacy Tech so throughout the week I’m free in the mornings from 7am to 2pm and I’m free on the weekends during anytime throughout Saturday and Sunday . I currently live in a house with a gated backyard so your fur Babies will have a big beautiful yard to run in and enjoy I also have three parks really close by near me so they will have a blast and fun time going on walks to the park . I also have two small Fur babies of my own there both male dogs one is 3 and the other is 4 years old. The 3 year old is a Chihuahua mix with wiener Dog and the 4 year old is a poodle mix Shihtzu. They both get along very well with other animals and don’t have any allergies issue so If any of your babies have allergies please let me know and if they take any medication let me know as well and I will be able to provide them the prescription they need:) Some skills I have is I have a natural gift for caring for animals treating them as there my own. I’m patient , Gentle and attentive and always making sure they feel safe and loved and understood. Whether is feeding , comforting or simply spending time with them I love building a bond with them on trust and kindness. Caring for animals isn’t something I just do it’s who I am :) . I’m currently going back to school for Pharmacy Tech I’m free Monday through Friday from 7am to 2pm as of weekends I’m free throughout the whole day As of taking care of your guys Fur Babies I can come to your guys home or you guys can drop off your fur babies will be in a safe and loving environment :)

About: I’ve always had animals around while growing up. I don’t think I can recall a time I haven’t had a pet. I even insisted on rescuing my dear Daizie May when I was 12 from the pound. I’ve helped raise several litters and rescue any dog I see in need. I have to actively stay off Facebook as to not fall into fostering or taking in any animal in need. My boyfriend calls me a Disney Princess with the way I communicate with my animals. It’s all about body language, respect, and patience. Trust is extremely important. I currently work a flexible schedule in my family owned business and am looking for side jobs that I also am passionate about. Any time that I’m needed I can usually make it work. I’m ready to follow and assist in whatever systems are set up in your family and household. Whatever your fur family is used to! Photos are VERY important and cherished.

About: I taken care when I was very young even taking care of ill/sick animals. I'll nurse them back to health when vets couldn't do it. I bottle feed and take them to the restroom when they are babies. I been taking care since 10 years old. I'm very open with my schedule and love to be around animals. I work from home working as a editor and have lots of free time. I have a gate area for all animals. I always have them on a leash and make sure we walk in the morning or evening. It's too hot for their paws if you have booties for them even great. Always have water on me and poop bags. I never have anything laying around for them to eat or play with. I'm always outside with them when need to go potty and play.
