About: Hi! My name is Emily, and I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician with hands-on experience in animal care, I have my associates degree in Veterinary Technology. I've worked closely with dogs, cats and exotics of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, so I'm very comfortable handling everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra care. With my veterinary background, I have hands-on experience working with animals in both general practice and emergency situations, so I'm comfortable recognizing signs of illness, handling medical needs, and staying calm under pressure. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they're my own. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I'm reliable, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I'm also happy to send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'd describe my personality as Friendly, dependable, detail-oriented. I’m always available to care for your pets and have a very flexible schedule with no restrictions. I’m happy to accommodate your needs and make sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for! I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and comfort level, whether in the client’s home or my own. In the client’s home, I follow all instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, while also keeping their home clean and secure. In my home, I create a safe and comfortable environment where pets can relax, stick to their usual routine as much as possible, and receive plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection. In both settings, I prioritize safety, consistency, and communication with regular updates for peace of mind.

I cannot say enough good things about Toryn! My husband and I are first time Rover users and normally take our VERY high energy dogs on our family trips, so we were very nervous to have anyone, even someone with experience, around our dogs. But Toryn shot over the moon with our expectations; sending pictures and writing sweet and thoughtful notes with every drop-in visit, exercising and playing with them, even staying later than asked to brush them and spend more time with them! Blew us away! I can already tell our dogs miss her!!

This was my second time booking Jordan, and once again she was absolutely wonderful. She’s reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about the pets she watches- not just going through the motions. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in her care, which is huge for me. Jordan provided great updates, followed instructions perfectly, and treated my Nova with real kindness and patience. It’s clear she pays attention and actually connects with the animals she sits. Everything was exactly as it should be when I returned, and my cat was calm and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Jordan again (and honestly plan to). If you’re looking for a sitter you can truly trust, she’s it.

Daniel recently provided drop-in visits for our daughter's cat Milo while we were on a family hiking trip. His pics of Milo showed how happy Milo was to see him, and when we returned home it was obvious Milo was much more at ease compared to other times we were away. We've also had Daniel pet sit for our dogs in the past, and he really creates a fast bond with them. We're so thankful to have someone as reliable and attentive as Daniel to care for our pets!

About: I have had pets my whole life and most relatives and friends have asked me to pet sit! The longest I have pet sat has been a month. I currently work, but my schedule is on average six hours a day! I am available as long as we communicate with enough time . I usually follow whatever routine your bundle of joy usually uses, if I have any questions I’ll reach out! I promise not to deviate from your wishes.

About: I’m a 19 year old college student attending Indiana University, studying business. I have experience with taking care of both cats and dogs. Currently I have an energetic beagle and two cats whom I care for. I am great for long walks or even runs with your dogs, and I am well versed with handling cats. I am fortunate to not have any time constraints and am available to help out during the day and early mornings. I am however uncomfortable with late nights. I cannot host pets at my house since I have pets of my own. I can care for your pets at your house and do not mind having them in my car if they want to go to the dog park or a specific park to play.

Ann was great taking care of my two fur babies. More than just needing to be let out to go to the bathroom, they need love and affection when I am gone and she delivered. She arrived on time and cuddled with them so they felt like they weren't missing anything. I was quite happy with her services!

That same professionalism, responsibility, compassion, or what I bring to caring for your pets. But beyond my medical background, I have an extreme love for animals. I don't do pet sitting just as a job, it's what truly makes me happy. I prioritize keeping a balance schedule so that way I can be dependable. That means you'll have the peace of mind, knowing I'm organized, committed and available to work on your needs. I provide pet sitting exclusively in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their own from your space. About: I have taken care of animals since I was twelve, I love spending time with furry friends! I can help train puppies as I have trained 2 of my own, I have helped geriatric and diabetic animals as well. I am a currently student at Ohio State and have free gaps during my day since I don’t have classes on Thursdays or Fridays. I am an active person and go on daily walks myself and so I would love to have a buddy! My apartment doesn’t have many stairs so it’s easy for dogs to come up, I have a huge park right near me where lots of dogs like to go and play.

About: I grew up with dogs and have included them in my family as an adult. My childhood dogs were Prince, a golden curly-haired Poodle/Collie mix, and Midnight, a black German Shepherd/Spaniel mix. Prince passed while I was in middle school but I had Midnight throughout my childhood and college years. We walked everywhere in my neighborhood and enjoyed playing in the backyard or just laying in the sun together. My next family dog would be chosen by my 7 yo daughter at the PAWS animal shelter. She found Fantasia - a 1.5 yo Border Collie mix - and they were instantly best friends. Fantasia (Tasia) was a part of our family through raising children and my divorce - becoming my best friend and companion. She passed from old age a few years ago and had lived to be 16 yo. I miss my best friend and furry family member dearly. This is why I am looking forward to caring for your pet and providing the love and care that you would give yourself. I currently have the freedom to care for your pet and meet their needs per your request. Walks and playtime are a given, and I am happy to do basic coat brushing, and of course, will provide lots of TLC. I have a fenced yard and live in a lovely neighborhood with sidewalks. I am also just a mile from 2 area parks -Summit Park in Blue Ash and Webb C. Gower Park in Sharonville. Both are very walkable and dog friendly. If desired, Summit Park has a fenced dog park area for socialization and play. And Sharon Woods Park is a short drive from my house.

Offering praise, pets, and treats and building trust with you and your pets is my number one priority!

About: I’ve always loved working with animals. I have hands on experience caring for all breeds of animals. I'm active, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that's going for walks, hikes, or simply getting fresh air. Because of my animal background, I'm comfortable around animals of all sizes and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. As a pet caregiver, I'll treat your pets like they're my own. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a long walk to burn off energy, or extra attention while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved. I strive to provide a calm, safe, and positive environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for while you're away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
