I have an 11-year old Golden Retriever of my own so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, loving companionship while you’re away, or your cat needs attentive care, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently a SAHM and with both of my kids starting school soon, I will have a lot of free time throughout the day to care for your pet. About: Hello, my name is LēRae and I have one dog. Her name is Josie and she is husky shepherd. I grew up with dogs and have always had a furry roommate/coworker at every stage of my life. My family had rescued three pitbulls while I was growing up, so I am familiar with the process of taking in a dog and allowing them to become comfortable with you on their terms- especially in a home they are not familiar with. Since my own dog is a husky, I am most familiar with high-energy dogs. I work from home and we go on walks at least three times daily. While I don’t have a yard, the Miami Bike Trail is right outside my door so theres plenty of opportunities for walks . I use Rover both as a sitter and as a client so I understand the circumstances of ensuring your pup is in quality care. As a client, I prefer pic/video updates at least three times a day and will ensure you receive the same standard. Since I work from home, your pup will always have someone around. Unless there is an event or a quick errand run out— you will always be updated. I live in a one bedroom apartment with dog neighbors on both sides of me so noise is not an issue. My dog is a husky and can be verbal at times and will likely try to talk to your pup.

I had two dogs of my own over the last 12 years, both of which were large breeds (German Shepherd and Siberian Husky). I love dogs and enjoy having them around. I work from home all day and can spend lots of quality time with your dog(s). Your pup will get plenty of outdoor play time and potty breaks. I work from home all day so I am able to provide day care and/or overnight boarding during weekdays or over weekends. If I do have to leave for an errand I tend to separate the dogs in bedrooms and/or crates. I have a large fenced yard (over half an acre) with plenty of room for your pup to run and play. I have crates available if it is needed for your dog. I work from home all day so I am able to provide frequent potty breaks outside.

About: I have been a dog guardian for 40 years including two Huskies for 10 years. I spent 25 years in San Francisco where my dogs went to the dog park twice a day. I was also a volunteer at the SPCA in California where I helped care for the dogs waiting to be adopted. Your best friend will get one on one and 100 percent attention from me. I only board one dog at a time unless they are from the same household already. I am working out of my condo as a freelance designer and make my own schedule. Because of this I am able to provide full time care for pets. I was a volunteer at the SPCA in San Francisco before moving back home to Ohio. I have a condo in Montgomery surrounded by green grass off the road. There is a great park down the road. I also have the option of boarding special needs dogs at our family home 5 minutes down the road.

About: Ive been pet sitting since I was 12 years old and have only gained experience and skills since then. Ive been boarding, training, walking, and feeding animals of all sorts for years. I’m a very flexible person. If your baby needs multiple walks, a strict schedule, or just a lot of affection I’m enthusiastic to fill their needs. I have experience with all ages, blind, deaf, and other needs, various breeds, and sizes. I also have experience with emergency medical care and administering medications. My work history also includes handling and caring for multiple dogs at once. In addition to that, I also have experience working with animals that cannot be around other dogs or animals and know how safely care for them. Safety, health, and happiness of the animals is my priority in that order. I can make my own schedule so I have open availability. Evenings, weekends, or holidays. None are a conflict. I keep my calendar up to date. I have two fenced in dog parks on my property. I'm minutes away from multiple parks with trails. I make sure I follow the given schedule but at the same time offer new and stimulating experiences

About: The things that separate me from other sitters are my active lifestyle, strong communication, adaptability/ flexibility and silliness! I love to go hiking, running, swimming at the family lake, explore dog parks and other fun activities while sitting. Options are endless and will keep you posted with fun photos, videos and other messages to make sure you know your pet is safe. I do not ADD ANY STRESS. Quite the opposite. I am here to help and relieve the stress of boarding your pet. And I'm okay with being scheduled same day or same day cancellation. I understand things come up, please just try and be certious and thoughtful though with lack of communication. (Please be aware that my rates are subject to change based on my availability, commute to/from work, time spent with the dog and many other factors. Please not that I do NOT make as much as you pay, rover app takes a good chunk out of what you pay. Graituity and tips are highly encouraged if you want quality care and repeat stays/ watches. ) My rule of thumb: I aim to make about $75-$125/ day for house sitting and animal care. I am to make about $25/ hour so that would require me to spend about 4-5 hours on ruotine pet car (walks, feeding, taking out, medicine, adventures + household chores ect.) I have to factor in gas money, taxes, and rover fees so please consider that when booking. I am willing to go the extra mie and make your dog's stay a vacation and spend all day with them, I just expect to be fault comensated. Some dogs (+multiple dogs, cats ect.) require lots more attention than others. I find it very hard to work full time and pet/ house sit. As I am trying to move away from my other job and pet sit closer to full-time. I love animals but they are lots of work, as we know! Please be curtious and respectful of my time and love I show your pets. I am currently working part-time as a rideshare driver and am part-time student in grad school to get my masters in psychology. And back living at my parents house with a big yard in the basement to play in. When I am pet sitting I revolve my life around the needs of the pet and adapt my schedule to their potty breaks and eating habits. Like I said, I'm flexible and easygoing and luckily don't have too much on .y plate right now besides studying and private rides mostly at night! I have backup as well with my cousin who lives with me. Leashes all the time if they could get away or in public. I have a stand outside with a long leash for extended outside time but am usually just side-by-side the pet most of the time so they are in good eyes. Clean environment, no drugs, no partying, no garbage laying around. (I live with my parents currently in Montgomery, OH and they are on board as well as they love pets too!)

Pet care fits really well into my routine. I’m a full-time software engineer working a hybrid schedule with flexible hours (10 AM–3 PM). I’m typically out of the house on Mondays and Tuesdays, work from home the rest of the weekdays, and I’m completely off on weekends. My schedule is also flexible enough that I can adjust days if needed to match your pup’s needs. On the days I’m home, I have plenty of time for walks, play, and feeding, and I’m usually happy to have a dog keep me company while I work. I regularly cuddle and work alongside my own Golden Retriever puppy, so I’m used to balancing focused work with giving a dog attention, short breaks, and check-ins throughout the day. It means your pup won’t just be looked after, they’ll genuinely have company and companionship all day long. In my own home, I make sure dogs feel comfortable and settled right away, giving them a calm space to relax along with plenty of playtime and cuddles. Since I have my own Golden Retriever puppy, my home is already dog-friendly and set up for a happy, active pet. I take dogs for regular walks and trips to the park, letting them socialize with other dogs when they enjoy it, or keeping things calmer and quieter if that suits them better. I always adapt to each dog’s personality and energy level rather than sticking to one routine for every pet. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal routine, feeding schedule, and any specific instructions the owner gives me, so the dog feels as little disruption as possible. I’m attentive to their comfort and cues throughout, and I send regular updates with messages and photos so owners always know how their pup is doing.
