About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, dairy cattle, and pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: I’ve had dogs small and large since I was 12. From Chihuahuas to a German Shepherd. I have experience taking care of and walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’d love to take your dog or dog(s) for a lovely walk or drop by to check in on them while you’re out for the day. I currently work from home and have the company of my two dogs, Sol (a very dog friendly terrier mix rescue) and King (a sweet pitbull brindle mix rescue). With summer coming to a close I can walk dogs at mostly anytime of the day. I currently do not offer in home doggy day care or boarding, but can work with you for drop ins. I work from home most days with a flexible schedule so I can make mostly any time work for a drop in!

About: I’ve cared for two rescue dogs of my own - my first was a chihuahua mix with separation anxiety, and my second was an high energy Australian cattle dog. I loved them deeply. While I haven’t adopted again, I regularly pet-sit for family and friends and make a point to visit animal rescues around the world. Your pets will be in good hands with me. I understand they’re family, each with their own personality, quirks, and needs. If you have special instructions, I’ll follow them thoroughly - I’m dependable, attentive, and detail-oriented. I also love being active, especially walking, so I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care. I’ll be in Washington for the summer with a very open and flexible schedule. After nearly a year of traveling around Asia, I’ve really been missing being around animals - caring for pets is my way of reconnecting with that nurturing side of myself. I genuinely love having animals around. While I’m currently building an online business, I’ll be spending most of my time at home, so your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My home is set up with your dog’s comfort and safety in mind. We have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and we’re just minutes from the park for daily walks and adventures. We also have a shy, timid cat at home - so dogs who are cat-sensitive do best here. For added peace of mind, I can keep pets in a separate bedroom if needed. Your dog won’t just be watched - they’ll be part of the family. Everyone in my home is an animal lover, pets are welcome on the furniture, and your pup can sleep in the bed just like they do at home.

About: Hi! My name is Gabby and I am 20 years old. I am a huge pet lover and cannot wait to meet your furry friends! I have had experience with both puppies and senior dogs! My experiences include working with dogs that are blind, deaf, have diabetes, and heart disease. I have also trained my dogs since they were puppies! I take care of my two dogs everyday and my pet frog as well! I feed my dogs everyday and apply daily eye drops twice a day to my shih tzu. My frog also gets bathed and fed! About: My name is Angela, I have been around dogs since my college days. I have taken care of my aunts' dogs previously, lived with dogs from my roommates and cared for them every so often. I have also cared for dogs in a professional ambiance through Rover and other clients on the side. I took care of 2 loving furry friends consistently from 2020 through 2022 in their home. I also dog walked and boarded a few clients through Rover that later became friends! I can provide care of older senior dogs and high energy puppies. I can also provide care to furry friends that have an ailment and administer medication if needed. I’m a teacher, so summers I’m free and flexible. My partner works from home so during the school year he’s available during the times I’m at work. On weekends sometimes we may go outdoors to the park, on walks, hikes, or hang out at home or with friends. We also go to church in the morning for a little bit sometimes. We don’t have any pets of our own so when we Rover, your pet will become part of our family and we will take care as such. I will provide the necessary physical activity that you recommend and beyond with play time, plenty of walks, lots of attention and affection, be attentive to the required nutrition depending on their diet. Overall, I will provide consistency and will ask you your home routines to make sure your furry pet has a seemless transition and comfortable stay.
