Our beagle mix had a wonderful time on his walk with Gloria. She was very punctual, and she understood Charlie's need for a slow pace since he has to sniff everything!

Candice was so communicative and made me feel at ease before she even arrived at the house. This was my first time using Rover and first time having someone walk Mocha without a previous introduction. It was so nice to know that Mocha was in good hands and Candice went above and beyond in making sure she got a good walk in and had time to pee/poop. I'm so appreciative of Candice and would recommend her to anyone!

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician with prior experience working at an emergency veterinary hospital. If your pet needs medications administered or has special needs, I am able to care for them. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for many years and have cared for cats and dogs of various breeds. Currently, I live with a Boxer, a Miniature Poodle, and a white Turkish Van breed cat. I will make sure that your pets are comfortable and have a good experience while you are away. I am working on starting a dog grooming business from my home, so I can adjust my schedule to be available for your pet. Your pet's normal schedule of feeding, walks, and medication administration is important, so I like to stick to that as closely as possible. I can stay overnight at your home if that is preferred, or I can come over early in the morning to take care of your pet. I will always leash walk your dog unless you give specific instructions for your dog's activity.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently I am a pug mom. My pug has been highly socialized at doggy daycare‘s both in New York and out of state. Dogs have free reign in my home and plenty of toys to play with. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have constant care while he or she is here. I try to go for a few walks every day and will take your pup with me. I have a very friendly pug at home, and your pup will have free reign in my house to explore. I work from home and I’m available for a potty breaks and outside play all day. My property is NOT FENCED IN, however I have a large private backyard and live on a dead-end street in a quiet neighborhood.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jacquelyn! She has gone above and beyond in caring for my elderly dog and cats, providing them with not just the essentials but genuine love and attention. From the very start, she has been incredibly kind, communicative, and dependable, always keeping me updated with messages and pictures that give me peace of mind. Caring for senior pets requires patience and extra effort, and Jacquelyn has shown both in abundance. Whether it’s taking extra time on walks, administering special care, or making sure my cats feel just as loved, she has exceeded all my expectations. It’s clear she truly cares about the well-being of the animals she looks after. I wholeheartedly recommend Jacquelyn.

About: I've loved and cared for 11 family dogs and countless friends' dogs and cats since I was 12. I have a deep respect for animals and am very attentive to their signals and communication. I will absolutely adhere to your routines and ensure your pet is comfortable in my home and with me first and foremost. For me, pets are family, and I treat your babies as I would my own! My day always starts with coffee and my dogs. Your dog will receive 3 walks per day, minimum, and will be free to roam the lower level of my home, where I work from my home office. My dogs have their space upstairs in our main house, and my guests downstairs with me. This ensures I can attend to my boarders' needs immediately and help them get acclimated to a new environment with new smells. I have direct access to my backyard from my downstairs space and will keep your dog safely leashed when outside.

Alexis was very punctual, respectful and caring of Bella’s time and needs. She took her time with her, getting to know her and eventually enjoying a walk together. Communication was a priority as well, as she kept us informed of what Bella was up to and how her walk went. Bella also seemed to enjoy her time with Alexis. Will definitely consider her again when in need of pet care. Thanks Alexis!

About: To keep things calm and cozy, I only host one dog at a time, or up to two dogs from the same household. About Us: Hi! I’m excited to offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and boarding for dogs in a calm, cozy home environment. I’m (Chloe) the primary sitter, and my fiancé, Aaron, will help out and give your pets lots of love when he's around. We both grew up with dogs of all breeds and sizes, so we’re comfortable caring for dogs of any age, size, or personality. I also spent six years working as an office manager for a dog training franchise, giving me great insight into dog behavior. I truly enjoy bonding with dogs, whether it’s walking, playing, or giving extra love and cuddles. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I also offer limited weekday evening availability after 4 PM with advance notice, as I work full-time during the week. For boarding, Friday drop-offs after 4 PM work best. During school holidays and long weekends, I’m usually home and happy to offer a safe, cozy place for your dog while you’re out visiting family or traveling. Please note I only host one dog at a time, or up to two dogs from the same household. Services I Offer: Dog walks: 30-minute or 1-hour options Drop-in visits: feeding, playtime, bathroom breaks Boarding at my home Administering medication (oral/topical, excluding injections) Special care: pets with anxiety or other special needs Regular updates: photos and texts so you can relax while away Holiday care: safe, cozy place for your dog during school holidays and long weekends Why Choose Me: If your dog enjoys: Calm, cozy surroundings Lots of love, cuddles, and attention Consistent routines, playtime, and the option for long walks in scenic areas (if owner prefers) I’d love to provide reliable, affectionate care while you’re away. I bring experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes and a genuine love for spending time with them, making sure every dog feels happy, cared for, and part of the family. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss your dog’s specific needs. About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I have dealt with kittens/puppies, adults and seniors. Gave meds, washed, groomed and trained them. Large dogs and pitbulls are my favorites. I also had a house rabbit for 9 years. My pets had long happy lives I have a part time job, so my schedule is flexible. With enough lead time, I can swap my shift and be available whenever I am needed. I can care for pets in their own home. The pets are happier and less stressed when they are at home. Pets should say home whenever possible.

About: I believe that life is better with dogs. I like to exercise with my pups, play fetch, cuddle and take a lot of pictures. I love all dogs but have a soft spot for huskys (my family dog is a Siberian Husky). I am located in Mahopac, NY. I’m currently unemployed and looking to use Rover as much as possible. There’s nothing like getting paid for doing something you love and have fun with. I treat someone else’s dog like my own. At my home, the pups are allowed to hang out with me on the couch, watch movies in bed and relax in the backyard. In someone’s home, The same applies. I will follow any guidelines and rules that are needed, to ensure a safe and fun environment.

About: I take pride in the impact I have on animals. My deep and tender care for them is unmatchable and it brings me so much joy to help them live their lives more easefully. I have done sporadic work my whole life with animals; having pets of my own, always being the one to volunteer to help neighbors, friends, and family, working on a farm, and even hosting class pets. In 2020, I started working for a pet service and was helping them walk dogs consistently, as well as occasional cat visits. The position felt really natural to me and I enjoyed the connections I made with the animals during that time. Erica pulled her business out of Philly and things shifted. Since then, I have helped families/friends with dog walks and cat visits. I am looking for something more consistent on Tuesdays! I have a reliable car and currently not willing to host any animals at my home. I’m currently working part-time and looking to add some pet care services to my schedule. Just a bonus day of work while being surrounded by fluff and love! When I take dogs on walks, I make sure to keep a tight grip on the leash and keep an eye out for other animals and walkers around. Locking up the doors to the client’s home when coming in and out is another safety concern I find important.
