About: Hello, My name is Candice. I am a fur Momma to two Dogs. Princess Lola is a 7 year old Chocolate Labrador who is my gentle giant. She enjoys long walks with her dog friends and playing with her human brothers and sisters. Scrappy is a 14 year old Westie/ Bischon Frise mix who enjoys snuggles from his family and his bed. He is blind but navigates and acts like he can see. I did have a third fur baby that crossed the rainbow bridge last year as he lost his fight with cancer. About: I grew up surrounded by all different kinds of animals. I currently work as a dog handler and spend my days watching over large packs filled with various breeds, ages and sizes. I have experience in administering medicine, deescalating fights, and even swim lessons. I’m a full time commuter student working on my masters degree. I also have a part time job at a dog daycare that I work one to two days a week at. I would be available for dog walking and drop in visits Tuesdays after 12:30 until 5, and Wednesdays and Thursdays anytime before 3. About: I was a hands on member in my own dogs professional training, and I have taken care of friends and family’s dogs of all ages and breeds so there’s really nothing I haven’t seen before. That being said, I am well-versed in the high demand and needs of puppies and can confidently say that I am trained to care for them and all the hurdles that they entail. Having rescued my fur baby as a puppy off of the streets, she’s had her fair share of difficulties. Everyday has been such a blessing to see how far she’s come, and continues to. Just from getting in walks everyday, to intentionally setting time aside to play with them is so important. In my home, I pretty much hang out with my Blaze as much as I possibly can. Every hour that I’m home, my dog is right by my side. Even when leaving the house my Blaze is in the backseat of my car ready for a road trip. I think to be deserving of a dogs love means putting in the time to treat them with the care they require, whether that time goes to an extra long walk, or play time with the ball, or even making sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in her food. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. New clients get a free 2027 desk calendar that has photos of my clients and my dog as well (check my photos for a preview). I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

I provide very personalized care and only board one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family. There are no children or other pets in my home, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention in a calm home environment. Since my husband works from home, a dog with minimal barking is the best fit for our home. My apartment is on the second floor, so dogs must be comfortable using stairs independently or be small enough for me to safely carry if needed. A Little About Me I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs. I have professional experience working in a commercial dog daycare, supervising groups of up to 30 small and medium-sized dogs as well as puppy groups. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and similar friendly companion breeds. Some dogs are happiest staying in their familiar environment, and I also offer overnight house sitting. With standard house sitting, your dog should be comfortable being alone for approximately 6½ hours while I work my part-time morning shift at a dog daycare in Putnam Valley (8:00 AM–1:30 PM, 4 days a week, plus travel time). If your dog needs someone present most of the day and cannot comfortably be left for more than about two hours, I may still be able to accommodate them with extended-care house sitting at $185 per night. I require a meet-and-greet before accepting a new boarding or house-sitting client so we can make sure your dog and I are a great match. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time at a dog daycare and also work from home as a self-employed bookkeeper and real estate agent. My schedule is flexible, and I can choose which days I work at the daycare, allowing me to plan around the dogs in my care. My husband also works from home, so boarding dogs are rarely left home alone. This flexibility allows me to provide plenty of companionship, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and individual attention throughout their stay. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. About: I like to pay attention to your pet’s cues to determine their wants and needs. I’ve primarily helped friends and family with their pets and the more I spend time with animals, the more I fall in love. I currently work remotely from home. Mornings and evenings are easy! Afternoons will require some maneuvering but I can be transparent about my availability based on your needs and the dates of service. Depending on the distance I can stop by 2 or 3 times a day. I’m only offering drop-in services and walks at this time. I would be respectful of your space and focus on what I’ve been hired to do. If you need me to refresh your pets belongings, brush them, or wipe them down, etc, I’d be happy to. About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and know how to make animals feel comfortable and cared for. I offer dog walking and cat boarding from my home in Yorktown Heights. Guest cats stay in their own private room with fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. For dog walking I keep things low stress, consistent, and fun. I work from home regularly so I'm around often and take every pet's routine seriously. I treat every animal like my own. I work from home frequently which means pets in my care are never left alone for long stretches. For dog walking I'm flexible on timing and can work around your schedule for morning, afternoon, or evening walks. For cat boarding, guest cats get visits multiple times a day including morning feeding, a midday check-in, and an evening wind-down with fresh food, clean water, and a scooped litter box. Weekends I'm generally very available and weekdays I can accommodate most requests with a little advance notice. About: I grew up surrounded by all different kinds of animals. I currently work as a dog handler and spend my days watching over large packs filled with various breeds, ages and sizes. I have experience in administering medicine, deescalating fights, and even swim lessons. I’m a full time commuter student working on my masters degree. I also have a part time job at a dog daycare that I work one to two days a week at. I would be available for dog walking and drop in visits Tuesdays after 12:30 until 5, and Wednesdays and Thursdays anytime before 3. I am flexible and am able to care for your pet in any way wanted or needed. My pets at home are both free range and crate trained, so I’m comfortable with either option.

However you care for your animals in your home, I will maintain that same routine to keep your pets happy and provide them with consistency!
