About: I have had a lifelong passion for animals and extensive hands-on experience caring for many different types. Growing up, I helped rescue animals and learned the importance of patience, compassion, and responsible care. I’ve owned and cared for a wide variety of animals ranging from chickens to horses, which gave me experience with different needs, temperaments, and daily routines. My love for animals also led me to participate in 4-H and FFA, where I continued developing my animal care skills and knowledge. Over the years, I’ve cared for multiple dog breeds including a pitbull, shih tzu, poodle, husky, and German shepherd, and I currently have two miniature goldendoodles that I walk and care for every day. Through these experiences, I’ve become very comfortable working with animals of all sizes and personalities, and I truly enjoy providing them with attentive, loving, and reliable care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and availability. I work evenings at my other job, which allows me to provide pet care services during the morning and afternoon. This flexible schedule makes it easy for me to walk, feed, and check in on animals one to three times per day as needed. I also have Thursdays off and most weekends available, giving me even more time to dedicate to longer walks, playtime, and consistent care. Because I already walk my own dogs daily, incorporating additional pets into my routine is something I am comfortable with, and I am committed to providing reliable, attentive care that fits each animal’s individual needs. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable environment with plenty of toys and space for them to play and stay active. I make sure they receive lots of attention, regular potty breaks, fresh water, and follow any feeding or care routines provided. When caring for pets in your home, I focus on keeping them comfortable in their familiar environment by playing with them, giving them plenty of attention, and maintaining their normal routine. I also make sure they are cleaned up well, have fresh water at all times, and that their space is kept tidy so they feel happy, safe, and well cared for.

“Sterling was great! He always showed up within the given time window and gave my baby some love. I really appreciated the notes and pictures he’d leave on the Rover Card as well. Seeing that my kitty was being sociable and playing with his toys made me very happy. Also, I noticed in one of the pictures that Sterling took his shoes off in the house. I appreciated that SO MUCH because we are a shoes-off home to keep the floors clean. This booking was made because of a trip that was made on short notice, so Sterling being very easy to get in touch with made everything easy and worry-free. He was very personable and clearly knowledgeable about cats, so I felt safe leaving my furry baby with him. I would definitely recommend booking Sterling and I will be booking him again in the future! Thanks again!”

About: I have been around pets my entire life, so taking care of animals comes easy to me! I am experienced at both house sitting and home visits. I have taken care of kittens and senior animals, ensuring they always feel safe and happy. I am a full time college student looking for work over summer break, giving me plenty of time to help out! You can trust that I am efficient when it comes to taking care of your pets. I have plenty of tools to take your fur babies on a day of fun! With both a pet stroller and leashes, I can ensure cats and dogs get some nice fresh air.

About: I've watched pets for friends and family since I was a teenager. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats and will love them like they are my own. I can't wait to meet you and your fur baby. I am currently a stay at home spouse and looking for ways to make extra income doing something I love. I am extremely flexible with my schedule and will make the time to make things work. I have a cat that is not friendly with other cats(not sure about dogs), so can only take requests for drop-in or walking for the time being. I have walked and pet sat for several clients with bigger dogs and that have special needs and am comfortable with them all. I do always try and do a meet and greet before our first visit so your pet can get to know me before they are left alone with me.

About: I've had my own cats for almost 6 years, I've volunteered at the Belleville Area Humane Society for around 4 months, and I do occasional dogsitting and housesitting for family friends when needed. I have a summer job that starts on May 26th, and I have training from 9-4 on May 17th and 23rd. I'm unsure of which days I'll be working yet, so I will let you know when I can what my schedule will be. I will be completely free on weekends aside from outside events. I appreciate detailed instructions on any specifics needed when caring for your pets, such as medications, feeding times, bathroom breaks, regular walks, or any other schedule they need.

About: Dogs are our family, and I understand that small breeds have their own quirks and attention needed. I have been a small dog owner for over a decade and have experience with administering medication. I have a highly flexible schedule because I am retired from the Air Force. Your dog will receive my undivided attention because I only accept one client at a time. I promise that In terms of walks, feedings, and playtime, I can adapt to any schedule your dog may require. My primary goal is to ensure that your pet is familiar with his/her environment. In addition to minimizing stress and keeping the pet's normal routine intact. Safety is also a high priority for me while caring for your fur baby. I will ensure to keep you updated with photos.

About: Hi! My name is Nikki and I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a toddler. I always loved helping my parents and grandma with our many pets while growing up, but it wasn’t until I graduated high school that I decided to start expanding to pet-sitting for my friends as well! I was always happy to spend time with and gain knowledge from their furry friends. Two years after high school, I adopted a sweet husky puppy. He was just 8 weeks old when I took him home and I quickly realized raising a puppy is A LOT of work (but worth it!!). After a long journey of trial and error and 4 training classes together, he’s the best friend I could ask for. Three years later my dad rescued 3 more husky puppies, who I also helped raise! They have definitely taught me patience, how to deal with a semi-reactive dogs, and has made me confident in my ability to care for large breeds. I’ve looked after a variety of breeds, big and small, timid and reactive. I’m experienced in handling high energy dogs, young puppies who are still learning, and older dogs who need extra care and patience. I’ve also looked after cats, including those that needed help with medications and asthma treatment. Whether your pets like to walk and play or just need someone to hangout with while you’re gone, I can do it all. I will care for your beloved pets in your home and follow all your wants and needs! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m currently available any time Wednesday-Friday and on most Saturdays. I like to know all the details about your pets every day life so I can help keep their routines as normal as possible. Whether that includes certain times for feeding, walking, medications, etc. I also like to know if they are reactive, timid, or have any other quirks you want me to know about!

About: I’ve had and been around dogs all my life! I currently have a 9 year old dog who I adopted at 4 months old and she is my best friend. I’m the go to dog sitter for my family and friends and have watched dogs of varying ages and sizes and have loved them all. Your dog would be treated like one of my own with lots of love and care! I currently work from home on a part time basis and am a homebody in general so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your babies. Your pets comfort and happiness is my priority so I can follow care directions easily. I’m a fan of walks, lots of potty breaks, play time and snuggles- whatever your dog needs from me, I’m ready and willing!

About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life. You can rest assured your pups, big and small, will get all the love and attention while you’re away. I currently work full-time, Monday through Friday, but have three pups of my own at home and can board additional pups overnight during the week and can do daytime walks on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and keep your pets separated from my household pets unless they are long-time visitors and we know everyone gets along well.
