About: I have grown up around dogs, with two of my own. I have briefly attended vet tech school, but decided on a different career path. I adopted one of my dogs from a friend whom didn't want him after getting bit, but with love, trust and patience he is a completely different dog, with no aggression at all. I HAVE NO OFFICIAL TRAINING JUST LIFE EXPERIENCE AND MUTUAL RESPECT FOR BOUNDRIES I am currently attending SWIC on a 4 year plan for social work with 2 years left. My school days this semester(Monday-Friday) typically start at 9am and end at 1pm, with open weekends. Each semester I take 3-4 classes but the hours (9-1) I try to keep consistent. I have a fenced in back yard that is somewhat spacious, three floors and gates for separation if needed. During nice days the back door is left open so the dogs can walk in and out or just lay in the doorway. Toys are a must (mine know how to share) as playtime is always needed

“We love Samantha! I know my boys are in good hands and she loves them too!”

About: I have had pets since I was 6 years old, I’m now almost 40 and despite my physical issues, I love animals and spending time with them. I will care for your pet as though it were my own, cleaning up after them, taking them for walks, playing and petting them as much as they can handle. I can work several hours a day every day of the work week, Monday through Friday. I would spend appropriate times with each pet, customizing my time to that of my client My pets are played with for as long as they need to be, I clean out litter boxes twice a day, and take my dog for walks 3 times a day.

“Brianna was totally awesome! She was very responsive and caring! I so appreciated that should could extend and add on a few days! I’m looking forward to having her sit again in Sept!”

Also happy to play a game of fetch to get those zoomies out.

“Our cats love when Diane comes by to check on them. Our youngest cat is scared of dang near everything and doesn't like strangers but even he comes out for playtime/pets when she comes by. She really takes the time to play with the boys and make sure they are well taken care of.”

Since the passing of my baby I want to help care for them just not quite right for my own During the summer I’m free anytime be Saturdays I go to the races and I put lime down so people know where to park other than that I’m free I take care of the pet the way the owner does I wish I would be able to bring him/her to my home but i unfortunately don’t have the set up to do so but I am more than welcome to come over and care for them

“We’ve utilized Rachel’s drop-in visit service for our pug. Rachel is amazing & we love her. She is patient & caring of our dog & if there are any modifications that need to be made to the dog service reservation due to any unforeseen circumstances, she always contacts us in advance. 🩵”

About: My husband and I own seven cats, and two dogs. Obviously you must love animals as they greatly outnumber us. All are rescues and loved beyond measure. I am currently getting my SAR ( search and rescue training) certification as well as for my dog Artemis. I am certified in K9 First Aid through SAR and am an active member the SAR K9 Co-op searching for lost or missing persons. Non-smoker, non-drinker. I am retired so have all the time in the world to care and love on your pet. To trust something as precious as a pet to a stranger is terrifying. I am free 24/7 to meet with you and your fur babies so you get to know me better. I am available for drop in, walks, or sleepovers. I am comfortable giving medication both oral and IM. As I mentioned above, I have nine animals at home so am unable to care for your pet in my home as I would not be able to provide the 100% attention your pet deserves.

About: I have experience with animals of all different sizes, ages and temperaments. I am new to Rover but definitely not new to taking care of animals. I have been fostering cats and dogs for years through MEHS, BAHS and stray rescue STL. Can provide proof if needed. I do not currently have any dogs of my own. I do have a 9 year old (Simba) and 6 month old (Charlie) cat, as well as a turtle (Peanut) I have had for 5 years. All of my animals are spayed/neutered. They are all allowed to enjoy the furniture just as much as I am. I would love to give your animals all the love and care while you are away. I am currently in college, so in my free time, I am usually home studying and cuddling up with my fur babies on the couch. I work part-time nights so I usually go in late while the animals are asleep so I am able to spend the day taking care of our pets. I make sure to feed them, give them a nice fresh bowl of clean water. Spoil them with a treat or two. Give them some love and affection, let them out to use the restroom and walk them if that is something you'd like me to do as well, as i know all animals have different needs and some need more exercise than others. If they are on a special diet or need any special care, just let me know as I am quite the note taker and can absolutely meet those needs for you.

“Best pet sitter i’ve ever had!! Took such great care of my pit & he absolutely loved her from the moment he met her before care! Recommend 100% and will definitely rebook Avi again!!”

7. Ian A.
“I cannot recommend Ian Ashton highly enough! From the moment my wife and I met him, we knew immediately that his love and devotion to our pets were nothing short of genuine. We have three dogs, all Yorkies and generally small, and Ian took time with each one of them, giving them each the attention and care they needed. Our oldest, Alfred, was blind, deaf, and had a bladder condition, which meant he had to wear diapers in the house. Alfred was a grumpy old creature and hated nearly everyone he met, but Ian, whom he adored, immediately flopped onto his side and showed him his belly, wiggling around happily. He even played, running around and yapping happily whenever Ian would come into the house, something he did not do much, even for us. When interacting with Tessie and Bridget, Alfred's sisters, Ian was just as attentive and kind, giving them the same attention and care.”

8. Brianna Y.

9. Trisha T.
“I will not leave my two dogs with anyone else when I travel outside the U.S. Trish is a responsible and loving dog sitter and walker. The best part is she actually walks the dogs as far/often as they need. I have received testimonials from the neighborhood when I return, because they have seen her in action and spoken with her on the street. If she house/dog sits you can be assured your home is also being well looked after.”
