About: I’m a lifelong dog person — there’s never been a time in my life without one! These days, my chocolate lab is enjoying his well-earned retirement (walks are officially off his agenda), which means I have all this love and energy to give. I would absolutely love to be your dog’s favorite part of the day! I currently work full time, as a hybrid employee so I’m working for home at least two days for home with a flexible schedule. That gives me plenty of time to walk your dog or check in on them. For drop in visits and dog walking, I would follow your request for your dogs needs. At this time, I am not doing overnight stays

About: I grew up with a dog and helped care for various family members pets. I cared for my roommates dog in undergrad and law school. More recently I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for sister when she’s vacationing. I have love and affection for all animals. Most of experience is with older or rescue dogs but I would enjoy taking care of puppies and cats! I am currently working full-time (Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm) but will soon transition to part-time work. I work 5 minutes from my job so I can come home midday for potty breaks and walks when boarding. My weekends are completely open! My condo building has a fenced in dog park and gated parking lot with grassy areas. My unit is on the first floor with a door to the outside. No elevator or stairs required. I live in walking distance to Lafayette Square Park for longer dog walks.

About: I’ve had cats all my life and currently own two of my own cats. Many of my friends have larger dogs, and have relied on me to help check on them while they are out of town and take them for walks and have play dates. I love all kinds of dogs and cats! I am currently working from home on Mondays and Fridays, but that will change to working from home on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in the next couple of weeks. My nights are mostly free and am able to be flexible with my schedule. I will make sure your pet is comfortable, well fed and hydrated, and give them the playtime and snuggles they need! I make sure litter boxes and yards are clean and clean up any accidents that may happen.

I’m usually up early to handle morning feedings, walks, and check-ins, which leaves me available mid-morning through early afternoon for appointments, training sessions, or visits. I also keep some flexibility in the evenings and weekends for clients who need extra support or who have specific routines for their pets. Because animals are part of my daily life, fitting in care—whether mine or someone else’s—comes naturally. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and attention I’d want in my own. I stick closely to the routines the pet is familiar with—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, medication, or playtime—because consistency helps them feel secure. I take my time to build trust with each animal, using gentle handling and positive reinforcement. I also pay close attention to their behavior and energy, so I can catch any signs of stress or discomfort early. My goal is always to keep pets calm, comfortable, and happy in their own environment while giving families peace of mind knowing their pets are in caring, capable hands.
