About: New to dog boarding- available to have your small/medium dog(s) stay with my very friendly mini golden doodle, Phyllis! I have a fenced-in dog park in the backyard, within a large fenced in grass yard! I built my house with dogs in mind; I have a dog bath for washing feet on muddy days, and a suite of grooming tools and shampoos. Fine with dogs sleeping in the bed. 🥰 Your pup must be able to get along with my pup Phyllis, but she tends to love every dog she meets! I work from home and my hobbies are at home, so I am at the house most of the day 7 days a week! i am a homebody. I have a fenced in dog park in my back yard, and a huge back yard that is also fenced in! I also have a 4 year old mini goldendoodle who loves other dogs.

About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

I am currently work a hybrid work schedule (some days I work from home, other days I am in the office); I have 5 years experience in a kennel environment and working with working/professional dogs, as well as dogs with behavioral issues; and training/showing/trialing my own companions - I have experience and titles with my dogs in obedience, agility, and nosework in both AKC and UKC and other venues. I focus on force-free training methods, while still making sure to ensure rules and boundaries in my household. As much as I love training, training is not offered as part of your stay. I currently work from home, and am able to let out frequently. Your pets will be treated like my own while they stay with me. I have a fenced in yard and a playful pup who loves to meet new friends! I am set up for any scenario needed, and have crates for safety and feeding. If your dog isn't used to staying in a crate is reliable to be left alone, I have baby gates set up around the home to keep them out of places they shouldn't be.

About: No dog is too rambunctious, or cat too mean for me. I've lived and grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m also extremely good with difficult cats. My cat is a rescue that I saved. She was mean and nobody would adopt her. After learning how to help cats with behavioral problems, I was able to turn her into the most loving, cuddly cat. I also absolutely love going for walks with dogs and exploring the neighborhood. I'm comfortable with dogs of many breeds and sizes. I have experience caring for big dogs and ones smaller than my cat. I'm very easy to get along with and flexible if there are any special requests for your fur baby. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know your fur babies. I am self employed and wanted to do some more dog walking as a nice break in my day to get some exercise and meet some sweet dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a couple parks nearby that your dog would love to explore. If there are any special spots they love to go to, I can take them there.
