About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years (6 years with Companion Animal Wellness Center and 2 years with Tender Touch Animal Hospital, and two years with animal emergency and speciality center) and I also worked in animal rescue for two years at Pasado's Safe Haven. I love dogs of all kinds and enjoy learning about what they enjoy and how I can help them live happy and healthy lives! I've helped two clinics implement cat friendly practice standards and have a solid understanding of cat behavior. I am comfortable giving medications and know when medical care is needed. I am also a pet owner myself and understand how important it is that you be able to trust your pet caregiver to treat them like family! I teach special education now and so am pretty busy during the school year. If my 12 year old son can come, he’s great with animals too, and I can be more flexible then. Feel free to ask me if something will work! Over the summer I am very available, only needing to be home for about 4-6 hours a day to take care of my own dog. If your dogs are pet social and you don’t have cats ( too fun to chase!), I can stay all day. During the school year, I am gone from 7am until 5 or 6pm, so realistically can only do weekends or solely overnight care. I know the level of trust it takes to leave your fur children with someone new. I will follow your directions and try to keep things as steady for them as possible. My son and I love animals of all shapes and sizes and we love playing with and spending time with them.
About: We had a lot of dogs growing up in my family, basic command, hygiene and just love to have them around including my service dog. I usually walk my dog in the mornings and evenings, this will help me and my dog socializing and also doing some exercise during the walks. I take her to the park to play and sometimes to swim a little bit. I have my paperwork where I usually ask about any allergies, incapacity or any behavior that I need to be aware. What are the things they are allowed to eat and how many times they go out during the day. Basically pet care for me is on daily bases. Follow a healthy and comfortable routine for you and your doggo is important. Good food, exercise and socialization is the main key. For both of the locations I create an area with familiar smells, toys and treats. Provide long walks, play time and potty breaks as well.
About: Dogs have always been an important part of my life. From a young age, my parents taught me how to raise, train, and care for dogs, including training wilderness search & rescue dogs. Over the years, I've cared for dogs at every stage of life, from energetic young puppies to beloved senior pets. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routines, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while they're away from home. Our own dog, Merlin, gets two walks every day, rain or shine, and we believe every dog deserves that same level of attention and care. We treat every dog in our care the way we'd want someone to treat a member of our own family. I work from home on a contract basis and take care of our daughter throughout the day so I can devote as much time as needed to ensuring your pet gets all the love and attention to their needs as they deserve. I have a small fenced yard and some extra dog crates if needed. Merlin and I need two walks a day through baseball fields and forest near our house and I will bring your dog along too. I can also do more walks with them if needed. I can also visit or stay in your home. Your dog will be our guest and we pride ourselves in keeping a clean home for pets.

About: Hi! We’ve always been helping friends and family look after their pets. We love using Rover and prefer to keep all bookings on Rover. We can pet sit, do check ins and walk your pets. We are a couple that both can share the tasks to help take care of your furry loved ones. We personally have 2 large breed dogs. We prefer to watch pets inside your home and will not be bringing mine along. In the past we have also had a 2 cats, chickens, cows, many dogs and guinea pigs. I can check in on cages small animals. We have our own transportation to your home. As a friendly reminder to not leave your cute puppers in the car. They are wonderful parts of your life and we wouldn’t want anything sad to happen. Alice currently work most hours M-F 9-5 but sometimes can be a little later. I can do check ins and walks before and after work, or stay in your home and include them in my routine. They would need to be okay staying at home for 8-9 hours of the day. Amanda is available during the day while I am at work. I can sit in your home, drop in visits or dog walk. “Metta was an Amazing cat caretaker! From initial request she was very responsive and overall very friendly and accommodating. It was my first time leaving my cat in someone else’s care and felt very comfortable trusting Metta based on her reviews and communication. Getting into our place is not easy but Metta took it in stride. She sent loads of pics daily (which I just LOVED bc I missed my kitty). More importantly than the pics she sent updates on Pamuks temperament and playfulness. This was helpful bc towards end of the drop in visits she mentioned Pamuk was mewing loudly so now I know my cat would be happier with more frequent drop ins per day in the future. Metta was also kind and considerate enough to leave the waste on our patio so our home would remain fresh as could be! Overall positive experience!”

About: I've taken care of cats & dogs my whole life. Family, friends, neighbors.. I've also have worked with some dogs with training as well. I love high energy & older dogs, they all need thier own special love. Cats of ANY kind I love. I work full time but I'm off by 2 everyday, my schedule is very flexible & I'm very active. Can also do very early walks & visits before work. I'm extremely respectful of my clients house, property & fur children. Lisa and David were fantastic. I’d book them again without hesitation. They took wonderful care of Sunny and Pebbles for a week. Our cats are shy rescues, and they were standoffish at first, but Lisa and David patiently found ways to win them over, and soon the cats were playing and back to their routine. When our Litter-Robot malfunctioned, they had workarounds in place right away so the cats were never affected. Great communication throughout and they went above and beyond.
As ever, Kim came through for me and my cats when I had to make a bit of a last-minute trip. And she not only came through, she knew exactly what to do with the many varied wet cat food and dishes I left out with no note from me on what I was asking for because I'd been running a little behind schedule that day. Kim has incredible intuition, thank goodness! She's also very affectionate, intelligent, and careful. Just what I was looking for in a cat caregiver the many years ago I first hired her. My cats are always calm and happy when I come home from trips, and they genuinely like and trust her. Thank you again, Kim!
Valerie is absolutely terrific. We have had her a few times now and each time we know our fur babies are in loving hands. She genuinely cares about our cats and is very knowledgeable, keeping an eye on "high maintenance" items or concerning items. She really goes above and beyond and we look forward to having Auntie Valerie take care of our munchkins again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! :)

This is my second booking with Regan. Once for this come over/potty break/hangout; the other for a multi-overnight. My dogs absolutely LOVE when Regan comes over. Charlie loves everyone and likes to talk about it. Lucy is a very reserved but wants to check things out in case she need to hide. When Regan first met them, she came over to get the key. Lucy was like, "hey lady, 'sup?..", took 2 little ear scratches, and walked off (high praise from her). Charlie was like, "HELLO! You smell like friend." Given this response I knew these goobers would be in great hands. After both visits, when we came in, the girls were on the sofa like, "Dang... It's not Regan, just the parents," and promptly returned to sofa-mode. For our overnight, we returned to a nicely tidy house and happy dogs. (Not the case with other sitters.) We are excited to book with Regan again for our next overnight.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
