When I travel, the thing I am most anxious about is: will my cats be OK while I'm gone? Nothing gives someone more peace of mind about their leaving their babies than trusting the person in charge to make certain they are well-loved and taken care of in their absence. I know this feeling well and would love to give you the comfort of knowing your pets are in great and loving hands while you're away. Will your friends be getting their correct feedings, water changes, box cleanings, walks? Absolutely yes! I grew up with both cats and dogs my entire life. While my current housing situation doesn't allow me to have dogs, I do serve as staff to my three cats: Mia, Shelby, and Thomas (Thomas is in my profile photo). I have taken care of my friends' pets, both dropping in and living in their homes, while they were away and enjoy interacting with their cats, dogs, and even sheep, goats, and chickens! I have lived with kittens, senior cats and dogs, and can administer many medications if need be; I am also willing to learn any special requests. Additionally, I'm an amateur photographer, and would love to update you with photos and videos while you're away. ** I do work full time, but as I start early in the morning, I have a great deal of the afternoon and evenings free. I am also able to do necessary care before going in to work, although it may be very early! ** I live in Bremerton but work in Kingston. I wasn't able to put this info in anywhere else, but depending on the location I may also be able to drop in during the day if your dog or cat needs to go out halfway through the day. I am unable to care for pets in my own home at the moment (but hoping at some point that will change). In your home, I will see to it that your pet's water is fresh and plentiful, food is available (or administered at the proper time), and that things like litter boxes or poop scooping is taken care of daily. Once the basics are squared away, I will spend time with your pet, playing, petting, walking, or interacting in a way they are accustomed to. I am proud that friends have trusted me the care of their pets and access to their homes and I honor that. Trust is something I take very seriously because without it, you can't have anything else! My photos are mostly selfies since I live by myself (sorry!).
