The dogs got lots of walks, the cats got plenty of love, and she kept us in the loop with tons of photo updates. We came home to happy pets and a clean house—what more could you ask for?”

About: I have owned pets my whole life. My two Bernese Mountain Dogs both recently passed and I would love to care for your pets as I get over their loss. I work 7:30-4:30 in Hiawatha Monday-Friday with a 1 hour lunch for letting the dog out at noon, all my other time is available before and after work. I am not currently offering in-home pet care. Will update if this changes in the future. No pricing has been provided for this particular service.

About: I have my associates degree in Veterinary Technology! I previously have worked at dog/cat boarding facilities, and vet clinics. I have had dogs, cats, & goats throughout my life! I currently have my dog living with me here in Cedar Rapids, & 2 cats back in Indiana living with my parents. I am comfortable with any size dog & weight. I am also comfortable with medications if necessary! I am a travel agent that works from home. My schedule is extremely flexible! I am very comfortable with whatever your pet needs whether it’s ones who require constant attention & playing for an hour, or ones who prefer to have their own space. Whatever your pet needs I am happy to provide! My dog is spoiled to the max & I ensure your pet will receive the same treatment! I am down for just opening a door to let them out in their backyard, watching their favorite movie from the couch, playing with their toys, or strolls around their neighborhood!

“Ashleigh was very accommodating to a last minute booking! Even went as far to pick up and drop off my dog from my house! And sent pictures and updates. Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs since I was very young. Later in life, neighbors and professors would ask me to dog sit or dog walk when they were unable to do so. Taking care of dogs is something I enjoy and would like to do more often. I am currently working on Mondays through Thursdays at 11-8:30 but I will always be able to work around it to spend time with my furry friends. At the moment me and my family are housing a puppy that is a year old. We have a fenced in yard for her to run around and she eats well crafted food to keep her energy and health up.

My routine and been built to accommodate my own pets needs, enrichement. It has been pretty easy to include other kids into this routine successfully. I deal with each animal in the unique way they need. I have one dog that is not kenneled, while my youngest is when she is going to be left alone for a couple hours. I have a wonderfully structured house that has allowed to me to keep dogs separate when needed and need constant supervision.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have cared for pets my whole life. Growing up, my family always had both dogs and cats, and today I share my home with three wonderful dogs — a black lab, a yellow lab, and a Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix — plus an affectionate orange cat. Living with multiple pets has taught me how to handle all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walking, brushing, litter box care, and giving medication if needed. More importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else, and I treat every animal like they’re my own.
