About: I’ve had pets my whole life- dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, rats, hedgehogs, etc. Anyone who knows me knows I have such a big heart for animals and am truly amazed by them. I am currently in school to get my degree in biology to use to work at the San Antonio Zoo in animal conservation. I am trusted by all friends, family and coworkers to pet sit- I even have experience in administering medication to pets and experience in caring for senior animals. I believe all animals deserve love and respect no matter their size, and I promise to take care of your pet like my own. I currently work as a manager at a coffee shop, so I don’t mind getting up early or staying up late to take care of your pet. I am not on a fixed schedule, so week by week it may change but I will always have time to care for your pet. I am a very aware person, and I know how much pets are part of the family. I will ensure that no animal gets out and that their routine is accounted for at all times. I believe in making sure animals are well taken care of- physically and emotionally.
“We are so grateful for the wonderful care our dogs received while we were on vacation! 🐾 The daily updates and photos gave us such peace of mind and showed how happy and well cared for they were. Thank you for treating them like your own—we couldn’t have asked for better care!”

About: I’ve always had a special connection with animals and love caring for them. I was raised by a veterinary technician and accompanied my mom to the vet clinic when I was a toddler. She was always fostering dogs and I loved the looks on peoples faces when I told them I lived with 20 dogs at one point. I followed in her foot steps and worked at vet clinics throughout my high school and college years with the goal to become a veterinarian. I stopped at a bachelors in biology for my goals have changed, but my love for animals has never changed. I currently work for a vaccine clinic and pet sit for friends/family often carrying the knowledge my mom and other veterinary coworkers have taught me. I have experience in recognizing animal emotions and abnormal behavior. I can respond efficiently to emergencies. I can administer medications and adhere to special guidelines when it comes to disabled or senior pets. Having lived in a multi pet home, I can keep pets separated if needed for safety. My dog was not friendly with other animals, so know what it’s like to pay attention to environment on walks, etc. I don’t mind cleaning up often, accidents happen. I recently lost my baby to kidney disease. I miss having her around but am not ready for another dog. I would love to care for other pets! I work part time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 9am-1pm and Saturdays 8am-3pm. I would love to spend my free time loving and caring for animals. I loved spoiling my dog and others with lots of love. My dog shared a bed with me, using a blanket and pillow like a human. She always got a bite of my food, if safe, and was never low on treats. She often got a new toy, for she destroyed them quick. I enjoyed sitting outside with her so she could sunbathe. For more activity, I took her on walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails. A car ride for a pup cup is something I don’t mind doing. When caring for family/friends pets I always ensure to give extra loving and patience, for they are probably wondering where their owners are.
“My first time using River. Brittney was the perfect drop-in sitter! I was able to relax on vacation knowing my furr babies were being looked into and taken care of.”

“Sydney was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Waffle. She did two drop-in visits and went above and beyond to make sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It was clear right away that she genuinely loves animals—Waffle warmed up to her immediately. She was punctual, communicative, and sent thoughtful updates that gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I came home to a very happy and relaxed pup, which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Sydney again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter.”

“Cathy was so accommodating and communicative during every visit with our sweet boy!! We were able to enjoy our trip without worrying if our Simba was in good hands and happy!! Thank you Cathy for making everything flow so easily!!”

“Jessica was AWESOME and came through for me on a short notice! She was punctual and sweet! Quick response and easy to communicate with! My pup was taken good care of and got the much needed exercise! Will continue to book with her!!!”

“This was our second time booking Sam, and once again, he was fantastic. He’s incredibly reliable and took great care of our dog, Roberta, while we were away for a quick weekend trip. I was especially nervous this time because our longtime dog, Noah, recently passed away, and this was Roberta’s first time being left alone. Sam was thoughtful and attentive—he sent lots of adorable photos that showed she was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of playtime. One thing that really stood out was that he left a kind little personal message on our doorbell camera before leaving. It was such a simple gesture but meant a lot. It showed us how much he genuinely cares. Sam treats our home and our pets with respect and kindness. He’s great with animals, communicates well, and gives us real peace of mind. We trust him completely, Roberta adores him, we look forward to the next time soon! Thank you again Sam! :)”

“Belem did exactly what was expected of her. She is very good at what she does because it is obvious that she has a heart for it. Our doge were treated with love and a special care that not every one that does this has. Thanks Belem you will definitely be hearing from us again”

“Hollie took excellent care of my 6 cats! She was very reliable, and easy to contact. On each visit, after taking care of their needs, she petted and talked to the 3 braver and friendlier ones. I had cameras set up, so I told her not to worry about the other 3 though she did briefly see one as he raced by to hide. Hollie was great. I'll definitely ask for her again.”

“Sara did an amazing job of taking care of our cats. She took the time to understand what special instructions we had. She spent the time to ensure that both cats were doing well and had what they needed. Our shy cat even came out while she was there.”

About: I have fostered and trained a puppy for an entire summer and am the designated dog sitter for my neighbors back at my home town! I am free in the afternoons Monday-Friday and all day during the weekends! I walk 5 miles everyday and would love to bring some dogs along with me! I used to have a dog at home that I would walk 3 times a day and feed him twice a day. I used to dog sit for a Doberman and loved it. I am comfortable with all types of dogs!
“Connie, as always, was fantastic! Very reliable, kind, attentive and especially patient with my very active (and loving!) pups. I will continue to use her services as long as she is available.”

“Consummate professional with a preternatural ability to care for pets! We are beyond happy with the work Courtney did for us with our cat. She was communicative and prompt, and our cat responded so well to her kind presence! Thanks, Courtney.”

We would love to host your dog for the night or weekend! Please let me know what I can do to make your dogs stay more comfortable and your trip more comfortable!
“Kristin D. provided excellent care for our dogs during our absence. Being first-time leave-at-home pet owners, we were initially hesitant, but Kristin diligently sent us regular photo updates, which greatly reassured us. We are highly satisfied with her service and intend to engage her again in the future.”

“Olivia was amazing! She came by to feed our senior cat who only eats wet food. We also have other cats that can make things tricky since they always want that food too, but she followed our instructions perfectly and handled it with no problem. It’s such a relief to have someone trustworthy come into our home and care for our pets. We’ll definitely be booking with Olivia again!”

“Rachael was attentive and ensured my little dudes water and food were ok as well as feeding his dinner. She also cleaned his litter box lately. She was very patient with my cat who can be a bit on the shy side. Overall she did a great job.”

“Rosa took great care of my dog!!!! She was very communicative via pictures of how he was and what he was doing!! You can tell the passion and care that she has for your dog. I would highly recommend Rosa.”

Shearer Hills-Ridgeview pet parents share their Rover experiences
Meeting with Bailey and Minnie Pearl went off without a hitch. She was so excited to meet Bailey and to share her favorite toys. As for me, it was instant trust, and I couldn’t be happier with Bailey. They played together and even took a brief walk while still learning the leash. Bailey was sweet and caring and has a positive energy and enthusiasm. I highly recommend her for your pet!

Taylor was the absolute sweetest and best caretaker for my Sunnie! She made sure to track every walk with Sunnie, gave a detailed explanation for every trip made, and made sure to send pictures. She took the best care of Sunnie and gave her all the cuddles. Made my trip so stress-free not having to worry about my dog, or message her to make sure everything was going okay because she was doing that without me asking! Need a Rover sitter, book her!
