I have professional experience caring for horses, which taught me that taking care of an animal is about much more than simply providing food and water. I’ve been trusted with the responsibility of maintaining animals’ routines, paying close attention to their behavior and needs, and making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I also understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. I’ll treat both with care and respect, communicate with you throughout the stay, and make sure you feel comfortable knowing your pets are in good hands. Personally, I have owned a German Shepherd taught me just how important mental stimulation, exercise, play, and having a structured routine can be for an energetic dog. My Shih Tzu mix, on the other hand, gave me experience caring for a smaller dog with very different needs and personality. I am currently a college student with all morning classes, so my afternoons would be fully dedicated to caring for your pet. Weekends are also mostly spent at home, which provides plenty of opportunity to go out to parks if you wish so and play with your furry friend. I do currently live in a small studio apartment with no other pets. But I can compensate for it by taking your pet out on plenty of walks and mental enrichment
