“I’d give Alexis 10 stars if I could. I’m always so anxious to leave my pets with sitters, but Alexis made me feel so confident and comfortable from the get-go. She communicates several times each day with lots of pics showing happy pets. We came home to our house being just as we left it. We’ll definitely be hiring Alexis again.”

“Megan was wonderful with my Great Dane puppy. This was my first time using Rover and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Megan explained the process and I felt very comfortable after our initial meet and greet. Megan sent pictures and did a great job of communicating throughout her stay. Thank you!!! I would not hesitate to call Megan in the future.”

About: As a dog owner of my little chiweenie who gets very anxious when I am away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’m used to reading dog's body language, giving constant cuddles, and always making sure doggy feels comfortable and loved while their owner is away. I’m currently care taking for my grandpa who has Parkinson’s disease and working through grad school. I am able to take care of your doggy anytime in early mornings, lunch time, and evenings. I can do weekends anytime! I love to spend time with my dog while studying, so very open to what is needed! Having my own dog, who experiences anxiety, has taught me responsibility and how to make pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m especially patient with shy or nervous dogs and take time to earn their trust. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I prioritize keeping pets in their usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I make sure pets feel secure in their own home by providing calm, attentive care and plenty of love while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I love to take pictures of them and spend extra time if allowed!
“I'm so glad I found Nev for a last minute trip. They were so thorough during our meet and greet, and my shy cat Yuki took to them immediately. I felt so secure, knowing they were with my babies all weekend! I can't wait to book them again.”

“Niki did an incredible job house-sitting for our shih tzu puppy, Douglas! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. Niki kept us updated with adorable pictures and messages, and it was clear that Douglas was having a great time. She followed all of our care instructions perfectly and even went the extra mile to ensure Douglas felt loved and entertained. We came home to a happy, healthy puppy and a spotless house. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience – thank you so much, Niki! Highly recommend her to anyone in need of a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.”

“Alexander watched our cats and home while we were out of town and he did a wonderful job! Our cats are shy and Alexander did well getting them to come out of their hiding spots to eat. He responds quickly to questions and regularly sent picture. I’d absolutely trust him for future sitting needs.”

“Lindsey was amazing! They took excellent care of my dog, kept me updated with pictures, and made sure my pup was happy and comfortable. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Hannah was amazing! I was worried about my dog because he is older and is slow to trust new people. He had no problems warming up to Hannah. She did great at keeping me updated, I definitely recommend her!”

“Kaylin did a great job caring for Bunny! She stayed over while we were out of town and made sure to send lots of pics of their time together. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Was available on such short notice. Very Communicative. Went out of her way to even bathe the dogs while I was gone. Had no issues at all. Definitely will be coming back for her help.”

The Oaks-Oak Park-Northwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
We were nervous for someone we didn’t know to pet and housesit. Steven did two visits with us and our pets to make sure we all felt comfortable. Upon returning home from vacation, our pets were happy to see us but they didn’t seem overly excited or stressed. This was a good sign that our pets were relaxed with Steven while we were away. We will be asking Steven to sit for us again in the future. Very happy with his care of our pets and home.

had the pleasure of having Carly stay overnight to watch our dogs, Saint and Turbo, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, she was incredibly communicative—keeping us updated and at ease with tons of adorable pictures throughout her stay. It was clear our pups were happy, comfortable, and in great hands. Carly went above and beyond, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were being cared for so well. We’ll absolutely be using her every time we can. Highly, highly recommend!

Courtney was amazing!! She was great at communicating and sending lots of updates throughout our trip. Banks had a great time and our place was left just as clean (if not cleaner) when we got back!! Will definitely be using Courtney in the future, and would recommend her to anyone that asks :)
