Pet Sitting & Drop Ins in Northwest Park, San Antonio
Book a pet sitter to stop by your home a few times a day to feed and play with your dog.
“Alexandria was a terrific cat sitter. She did a meet and greet and put my mind at ease— asked questions about my cats’ personalities, needs and likes and went above and beyond. She fed the cats, played with them, changed the litter and kept me updated with photos and daily notes. I highly recommend hiring her… she makes you and your pets feel like family. I was worried about having just anyone watch my cats and she isn’t just anyone; she’s amazing! Thank you, Alexandria!”
“Leslie was amazing with our dogs and put us at ease while watching them! They took to her immediately! She respected our concerns with their special needs and made sure to keep us updated with pictures and detailed reports about her visits with them!”
“Allison is so amazing!! Loved getting the picture updates! It was my first time using rover and she made it so easy and gave me peace of mind! Will definitely be requesting her in the future!!”
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. One of my cats now, Smokey, has seizures and I understand the importance of having someone who will love your baby as much as you do watch them while you’re out of town! I will treat your babies like mine ♥️ I am able to drop in to play with and take care of your babies on any days that you need :) i’m willing to work around whatever schedule you have for your fur baby! I will work to make sure your pet trusts me first and foremost! Not only do you need to trust me, they do too! I hope to always pass the sniff test, and promise to always be sweet and caring to your fur baby. I also promise to never deviate from any food schedule, medication schedule, walking schedule, or any other parameter you have for your fur baby.
About: I have a special soft spot for shy/anxious kitties as my own cat is very skittish around new people and loud noises! I know how important it is for these cats to form a relationship with someone before they feel like they can trust them, especially during times when their family is away, and I would love to be that person for your pet. 💖 I also love dogs, reptiles, and amphibians, and I’m always interested in learning more about other pets such as birds, fish, rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more! As long as you provide me with specific instruction for a pet I haven’t taken care of before, I’m open minded and excited to learn how to meet their needs! I work remotely from 9-5, so I’m available to petsit from anywhere as long as I can connect to wifi! I‘m happy to either drop by for visits during the day or stay overnight depending on what option works best for you and your pets. Travel is often really stressful for pets, so when I petsit I always do my best to maintain as much of their normal routine as I can, including daily playtimes, feeding times, grooming, and cuddle time. If you tell me the spot you like to sit on the couch when snuggling with your cat or dog, you can bet I’ll make sure to sit in that exact same spot when I’m there!
“Ervin was great with Archie for check in! He was easy to communicate with and followed instructions. I even got some great photos :). Will definitely be using Ervin again in the future when needed!”
“Patti would be a great pet caregiver. She always goes above and beyond for her pets and other people pets. She is very loyal and dedicated.”

“Elizabeth did such a great job taking care of our dogs. She was very communicative and proactive. Sent lots of pictures and gave lots of cuddles.”
“Mikaela is awesome!!! I had to go out of state for work and my original sitter had an accident landing them in the hospital and she didn’t hesitate to help on such short notice. I’m extremely grateful for her she went above and beyond my expectations. It was a great relief knowing my furry babies were well taken care of while I’m away. She even sent me pics. If I could give her 10 starts I would. Definitely going to use her again.”
“Yolanda took great care of Winston! She sent pictures and videos everyday. She is also a great communicator. We'll be using her again. We came home to a happy and healthy dog . Thanks!”
About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs (and the occasional frog, chicken, raccoon, and much more) since I was 8. I have 2 cats, a ferret, an aquarium full of my beautiful fishies. I have experience with animals of all sizes, and love them all! I'm currently working a M-F 9-5, so I can provide care prior to work, on my lunch break, and anytime outside of work. I go for walks almost daily on a beautiful trail here and would love to have a walking buddy! I am happy to care for your fur babies and cuddle with them! I don't currently offer my home for boarding at the moment, but am available a wide range of hours to care for your babies in your home!
“Shelby is amazing!! She was very flexible and really took great care of our Toby, Titus, and Tuff! We feel so much better taking out of town trips knowing they are in good hands. This is our second time using Shelby and we will definitely be reaching out to her in the future! Loved all the updates while gone!”
About: Dog mom of 2, skilled in reactive dogs, difficult leash walkers, and nervous animals that need extra care! I work with dogs each day and know each have their own personalities that need to be respected and cared for accordingly. I come with my own home made treats (grain-free, organic, and can be allergy friendly) and will take time to bond with your baby and even learn new tricks! Check ins, pictures, and extra love (in your dogs special way!) to make sure they’re happy while you’re out. I am working full time but with hours of downtime between projects on a daily basis to give me time to learn, bond, and create space for your pup. I have taught both of my rescues how to walk on and off leash (not an easy feat!) and my newest addition, Buck, goes most places with me. Keeping an eye out for chewable items, distracting, or anxiety inducing things while walking in familiar or new places is so important to creating a safe space for each pet to be comfortable along with positive reinforcement with yummy treats!
“Lila was very communicative throughout the care of our Dogs, taking notes of any details and providing updates along the way. Our dogs were overjoyed under her care, and we felt at ease leaving them in her hands. I highly recommend anyone who’s searching for a reliable dog sitter to consider Lila for the task (:”
“I can not thank Debbie enough for looking after my babies while I was away for work. She loves animals, is kind and dedicated to treating them with care. My cat was delighted to see her whenever she came for a drop-in and my dog enjoyed the much longer walks. Can’t really see myself calling on anyone other that Debbie! Thank you so much Debbie—Jake and Jinx can’t wait to see you soon.”
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I also take care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets. I can bathe, trim, feed, walk, and feed medication. I am a incoming student at UTSA and do not have another job so I have plenty of time I need to fill with pet care. I have 2 dogs I feed ,walk ,bathe, and groom myself and 2 cats that I also groom and feed. I had an older dog that required extra care for a while.
“Arlene is very caring and loving to all animals. She has rescued many pets. She will take care of them until she finds a home for them. She treats all pets with love and provides a safe environment. She provides awesome sleeping area and an abundance of toys and blankets. She is very trustworthy.”
“Hannah went above and beyond taking care of our elderly dog with mobility issues. She was very attentive to her needs and did everything we asked and more. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Hannah again in the future.”
