About: I have had pets, mainly dogs, my entire life and I have a true love for animals. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 6 years. I have recently joined the Rover community and I am excited for this new experience! I do work a part-time job so my availability often differs by the day but I still have plenty of time for pet care! The earlier I am requested and care is planned out, the better I will be able to adjust my schedule to your needs! I have plenty of experience caring for pets, majority dogs, in their own home and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable in their space! My availability for caring for pets in my home is more limited but I do have a fenced yard and two dogs(one small and one medium) that are both friendly with other dogs and able to be crated if necessary!

“Daniel was amazing! We needed someone who has a lot of experience and could confidently care for multiple 40-50 lb dogs with various medical and anxiety/behavioral needs. Daniel was impressive! He took a good amount of time to meet with us and learn our dogs habits, personalities and quirks, and the commands we use with them. He had no issues walking our 3 dogs together, acknowledging them and giving them treats along the way. The dogs were very comfortable with Daniel, happy with thier walk, and responded well to his commands. My rescue dog who is wary of strangers even gave him kisses after their walk. On the 2nd walk, the dogs got very barky and excited when Daniel arrived and he was calm and confident and got them settled down and leashed with ease. We've had many pet sitters over the years and Daniel shines above all of them. His communication skills are excellent, he actively listens, very observant, understands the dogs, and overall seems like a natural who "knows what to do" to provide excellent care of our pets.”

About: Hi! I offer my home as a second home for your babies. When you go on vacation, or maybe out for work, I’m sure you want to leave your dog in the best care possible. I live very close to Summit Park. As long as I can remember, I have loved and cared for dogs. I started with my family’s and friends’ dogs, until my parents gave me my first best friend, Lenon (he is currently 18 years old). My parents taught me responsibility and the importance of taking good care of them, and I take that very seriously. I volunteered at an animal shelter near home, helping rescue, heal, and foster homeless dogs. Then came Ringo, an abused dog that we adopted when he was one year old and today he is 8 years old. (Both are with my mom). I take care of dogs out of love; for me it’s not a business. However, that income helped me reconnect with my dog and support shelters in need. When I take care of your dog, he/she will receive the best personalized attention possible. No matter the size, everyone is welcome. We have a beautiful home with plenty of space and a large fenced yard where they can sniff around, play, and do their business, always in good company. I promise to pamper him and care for him as if he were my own. I will send you photos of the walks, when he eats, or whenever you would like. You can also make a video call to see him better. My weekly schedule is flexible, so I am able to give your pet much time and attention during the week and on weekends when they stay in my home. My partner, who also has over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, works with me to care for your pet. We alternate times during the day to care for your pet so that he/she has full time care and each of us has time to tend to other duties. We ensure that dogs and puppies in our home are supervised at all times. We allow each adult pet the space to roam freely and close off any rooms or areas we want restricted. With puppies, we restrict them to the room where we are as we like to closely monitor the babies. If we have multiple dogs/puppies in the home during your pets visit, feeding and potty breaks are done separately. We may crate or restrict a pets access to roam if we are receiving another guest pet or person 🙂 or if we have to run out of the home to run an errand. We try and follow your indicated pets schedule as closely as possible. You can assured that your pet will receive lots of love and attention while in our home.

About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.

About: I grew up with dogs and have included them in my family as an adult. My childhood dogs were Prince, a golden curly-haired Poodle/Collie mix, and Midnight, a black German Shepherd/Spaniel mix. Prince passed while I was in middle school but I had Midnight throughout my childhood and college years. We walked everywhere in my neighborhood and enjoyed playing in the backyard or just laying in the sun together. My next family dog would be chosen by my 7 yo daughter at the PAWS animal shelter. She found Fantasia - a 1.5 yo Border Collie mix - and they were instantly best friends. Fantasia (Tasia) was a part of our family through raising children and my divorce - becoming my best friend and companion. She passed from old age a few years ago and had lived to be 16 yo. I miss my best friend and furry family member dearly. This is why I am looking forward to caring for your pet and providing the love and care that you would give yourself. I currently have the freedom to care for your pet and meet their needs per your request. Walks and playtime are a given, and I am happy to do basic coat brushing, and of course, will provide lots of TLC. I have a fenced yard and live in a lovely neighborhood with sidewalks. I am also just a mile from 2 area parks -Summit Park in Blue Ash and Webb C. Gower Park in Sharonville. Both are very walkable and dog friendly. If desired, Summit Park has a fenced dog park area for socialization and play. And Sharon Woods Park is a short drive from my house.

About: I got my first dog at age 14 and the condition was that I provide all of the care and train her. Many friends and neighbors call on me to care for their pups and I’ve even done a three month stent caring for two senior dogs. 16 years ago I got my first cat and now here I am with four of them. I also have a leopard gecko and I’m learning a lot more about reptile care. I am currently off for this summer and have complete open availability to walk, play with, and starve your babies with attention. I am delighted at the opportunity! I do not offer care in my own home, but I am happy to provide care in yours as my husband can care for our animals without me present.
