About: I have had pets, mainly dogs, my entire life and I have a true love for animals. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 6 years. I have recently joined the Rover community and I am excited for this new experience! I do work a part-time job so my availability often differs by the day but I still have plenty of time for pet care! The earlier I am requested and care is planned out, the better I will be able to adjust my schedule to your needs! I have plenty of experience caring for pets, majority dogs, in their own home and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable in their space! My availability for caring for pets in my home is more limited but I do have a fenced yard and two dogs(one small and one medium) that are both friendly with other dogs and able to be crated if necessary!

Very accommodating when I needed to cancel day of because one of my dogs started to get sick the night before. Also went above and beyond to come over early before I needed to get to work to show me how a gentle-lead works and see how my dog would react to having it on.

Daniel was amazing! We needed someone who has a lot of experience and could confidently care for multiple 40-50 lb dogs with various medical and anxiety/behavioral needs. Daniel was impressive! He took a good amount of time to meet with us and learn our dogs habits, personalities and quirks, and the commands we use with them. He had no issues walking our 3 dogs together, acknowledging them and giving them treats along the way. The dogs were very comfortable with Daniel, happy with thier walk, and responded well to his commands. My rescue dog who is wary of strangers even gave him kisses after their walk. On the 2nd walk, the dogs got very barky and excited when Daniel arrived and he was calm and confident and got them settled down and leashed with ease. We've had many pet sitters over the years and Daniel shines above all of them. His communication skills are excellent, he actively listens, very observant, understands the dogs, and overall seems like a natural who "knows what to do" to provide excellent care of our pets.

About: Hi! I offer my home as a second home for your babies. When you go on vacation, or maybe out for work, I’m sure you want to leave your dog in the best care possible. I live very close to Summit Park. As long as I can remember, I have loved and cared for dogs. I started with my family’s and friends’ dogs, until my parents gave me my first best friend, Lenon (he is currently 18 years old). My parents taught me responsibility and the importance of taking good care of them, and I take that very seriously. I volunteered at an animal shelter near home, helping rescue, heal, and foster homeless dogs. Then came Ringo, an abused dog that we adopted when he was one year old and today he is 8 years old. (Both are with my mom). I take care of dogs out of love; for me it’s not a business. However, that income helped me reconnect with my dog and support shelters in need. When I take care of your dog, he/she will receive the best personalized attention possible. No matter the size, everyone is welcome. We have a beautiful home with plenty of space and a large fenced yard where they can sniff around, play, and do their business, always in good company. I promise to pamper him and care for him as if he were my own. I will send you photos of the walks, when he eats, or whenever you would like. You can also make a video call to see him better. It is a pleasure for me to take care of your babies. I speak Spanish, understand a little English, and have no problem communicating. I love animals and have a lot of experience caring for and training them. I also have extensive experience administering oral and topical medications if necessary. I have a profile on Care, where you can see my clients’ reviews. If you have any questions, write to me 😊 My husband and I are waiting for you with love! All sizes are welcome at home! We adapt to each dog’s preferences, from the most active and playful to those who just want to lie next to you to rest or spend hours exploring. You just have to tell me what he likes to do the most. 😍🐶🐶 My husband and I love animals. We make sure to feed them, play with them, and give them lots of love. We have a little dog of our own, so caring for dogs is part of our everyday life. 🤍🐶 All sizes are welcome at home! We adapt to the tastes of each dog, from the most active and playful to those who just want to lie down next to you to rest or spend hours exploring, you just have to tell me what he likes to do the most.

I've worked closely with dogs, cats and exotics of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, so I'm very comfortable handling everything from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra care. With my veterinary background, I have hands-on experience working with animals in both general practice and emergency situations, so I'm comfortable recognizing signs of illness, handling medical needs, and staying calm under pressure. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they're my own. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I'm reliable, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I'm also happy to send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I'd describe my personality as Friendly, dependable, detail-oriented. About: Home away from home care for your pet when you are out of town or just need a staycation. Plenty of room to play indoors and outdoors in our fenced in backyard. Flexible drop off and pickup hours. Lots of hugs and love to make your four legged child feel like he or she is at home while you are away. Keep your pet on their normal schedule. Personalized care for your pet. Check in at any time to see how your pet is doing and receive daily text and video updates of your pet. I would love to host your pet in our home or drop in to your home to care for your pet. Please do not hesitate to text or email me with questions on pet boarding and sitting options that I provide. My weekly schedule is flexible, so I am able to give your pet much time and attention during the week and on weekends when they stay in my home. My partner, who also has over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, works with me to care for your pet. We alternate times during the day to care for your pet so that he/she has full time care and each of us has time to tend to other duties. We ensure that dogs and puppies in our home are supervised at all times. We allow each adult pet the space to roam freely and close off any rooms or areas we want restricted. With puppies, we restrict them to the room where we are as we like to closely monitor the babies. If we have multiple dogs/puppies in the home during your pets visit, feeding and potty breaks are done separately. We may crate or restrict a pets access to roam if we are receiving another guest pet or person 🙂 or if we have to run out of the home to run an errand. We try and follow your indicated pets schedule as closely as possible. You can assured that your pet will receive lots of love and attention while in our home.

About: As a rising third-year veterinary student at the University of Illinois, I bring both professional training and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for. Through my veterinary education and hands-on clinical experience, I have worked with animals of many breeds, sizes, ages, energy levels, and temperaments—including shy, anxious, high-energy, and senior pets. My experience has taught me how to safely handle animals, recognize signs of stress or illness, and adapt my approach to each pet’s individual personality and needs. Whether your pet loves playtime and attention or prefers a calmer, quieter environment, I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and have experience with feeding routines, medications, and providing patient, attentive care. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable, communicative, and trustworthy, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated so you can feel confident they are in good hands. My schedule is very flexible this summer! I am currently working part-time and participating in some veterinary shadowing experiences, but outside of that I have wide availability for pet care. I am available most weekends and have flexibility throughout the week, especially during mornings and evenings. I’m happy to work with owners to find times that best fit their pet’s routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a veterinary student, I have experience recognizing signs of stress, illness, and discomfort in animals and understand the importance of careful, attentive care. I strive to create a calm and positive environment for every pet while respecting their normal routines and boundaries. I know how important trust is when someone else is caring for your pet, so I will always communicate clearly, provide updates, and treat your pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra patience, I am committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large dogs. Throughout the years I’ve been responsible for walking, feeding, playing with, and caring for family pets, including watching them for multiple days while family members were away on vacation. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I always take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and will emphasize building trust with both pets and their owners. I currently work part-time in the evenings, which allows me to offer flexible daytime care for your pets. I’m generally available until 5:00 PM for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. Whether your dog needs exercise, a potty break, or simply someone to spend time with them during the day, I’m happy to help. I enjoy being active and love having a companion by my side on walks. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I am attentive, responsible, and committed to following any instructions you provide regarding your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, or special needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in good hands.

About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.

About: I grew up with dogs and have included them in my family as an adult. My childhood dogs were Prince, a golden curly-haired Poodle/Collie mix, and Midnight, a black German Shepherd/Spaniel mix. Prince passed while I was in middle school but I had Midnight throughout my childhood and college years. We walked everywhere in my neighborhood and enjoyed playing in the backyard or just laying in the sun together. My next family dog would be chosen by my 7 yo daughter at the PAWS animal shelter. She found Fantasia - a 1.5 yo Border Collie mix - and they were instantly best friends. Fantasia (Tasia) was a part of our family through raising children and my divorce - becoming my best friend and companion. She passed from old age a few years ago and had lived to be 16 yo. I miss my best friend and furry family member dearly. This is why I am looking forward to caring for your pet and providing the love and care that you would give yourself. I currently have the freedom to care for your pet and meet their needs per your request. Walks and playtime are a given, and I am happy to do basic coat brushing, and of course, will provide lots of TLC. I have a fenced yard and live in a lovely neighborhood with sidewalks. I am also just a mile from 2 area parks -Summit Park in Blue Ash and Webb C. Gower Park in Sharonville. Both are very walkable and dog friendly. If desired, Summit Park has a fenced dog park area for socialization and play. And Sharon Woods Park is a short drive from my house.

About: I got my first dog at age 14 and the condition was that I provide all of the care and train her. Many friends and neighbors call on me to care for their pups and I’ve even done a three month stent caring for two senior dogs. 16 years ago I got my first cat and now here I am with four of them. I also have a leopard gecko and I’m learning a lot more about reptile care. I am currently off for this summer and have complete open availability to walk, play with, and starve your babies with attention. I am delighted at the opportunity! I do not offer care in my own home, but I am happy to provide care in yours as my husband can care for our animals without me present. I will follow whatever routines and expectations needed for your pet.

Imani walked our dog, Oli, twice, and we couldn’t be happier with her service. Oli is a very energetic mixed-breed dog, and Imani handled her wonderfully. She was always punctual, communicated excellently, and kept us informed throughout. Most importantly, Oli came back from every walk happy and well exercised. We highly recommend Imani to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter or dog walker!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
