About: I've always loved all dogs! My first love was our family dog who lived till age 17 and now I have a dog of my own that I've been caring for since 2021. Friends have trusted me to dog sit for them and I've cared for them as if they were my own. I'm very attentive and responsible so I'll follow any instructions you have for your furry friend. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility. I have a spacious fenced partly shaded backyard where your fur baby can play as well as space inside my house too for those hot Charlotte days. I also enjoy going on long walks in the neighborhood once or twice a day with my dog but I can alternate and take yours if you wish me to. I'm home for the majority of the day so I'm able to feed your pet at whichever time you want me to as many times as you wish. I'm also able to provide play time outside or go on walks with your fur baby.

“Joseph is the best you could ask for. Reliable, responsible, kind, and my 2 dogs absolutely adore him. In fact, they go absolutely insane when he walks through the door. Seriously, Joseph is awesome!”

“Lauren is truly great! Our meet and greet was so warm and reassuring, and her communication has been impeccable from the start. She really took the time to understand that my dog has some anxiety, and I trust her professional judgment completely when it comes to handling that with care and confidence. Her updates are always solid and thoughtful, and I’m so excited for her to continue walking my dog. Highly recommend!”

“Charlie was super nice and communicated great! My pup got along with him well and seemed to enjoy her times He was able to handle and deal with my overcomplicated instructions too. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, and many other pets since I was 11 years old. Growing up, I would often care for my neighbors pets while they were away- they had 3 cats and 3 dogs. I also grew up in a household with cats, dogs, guinea pigs, etc. I love animals and have a lot of experience caring for them :) I currently work from home full time (except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and have a very flexible schedule, so I can definitely check in on your pets and walk them while you’re at the office, on vacation, etc. I live in an apartment complex and always ensure that I keep my apartment clean and pet friendly. For dogs, I love to take them on walks and to the dog park. There’s also plenty of trails, walking paths and parks in Charlotte I like to go to.

About: I am an online masters student with a flexible schedule and a great ability to befriend pets! I have looked after dogs and cats for my friends and family since middle school. I will bring a happy energy to your pet! My legal name is Mary but you can call me Mo :) I will prioritize the schedule and needs of your pet to ensure that they have consistency and the highest quality care during our time together. I have a gentle energy that I bring to interaction with my pets and will bring to yours. I love to play and interact on the terms of the pet.

“Madison treated my baby like one of her own and gave me amazing updates constantly. I will forsure continue to use Madison as my fur baby’s sitter whenever I need to go out of town again. Highly recommend!”

About: I have always had dogs in my life. I grew up on a farm and we had Goldens, Labs, and Great Pyrenees. I am no stranger to big dogs but I also love the little pups. In high school I volunteered at a Greyhound rescue. I would walk, feed and play with the pups as well as clean out their crates and their play yard. Two summers ago I had a babysitting and dog sitting job where I spent Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM with the child and the dog. I balanced the care of both the kid and the puppy, fed both and gave the dog walks. My most recent job was at Pet Wants Charlotte. To work there you're basically required to have a passion for animals. I went through extensive training and education in pet behavior and nutrition. I loved working there because we got to see pups everyday in the store and I felt very confident in my recommendations. I loved when a customer would come in with questions because I was able to exercise my knowledge and it was so rewarding for them to come back and tell me how much my recommendation helped them or how much their dog loved the food/product. Currently I am in school, so I can't have a dog but my roommates have two cats. I am currently a student at UNCC but I have a flexible schedule as most of my classes are online. I have no class Monday and Friday and am completely available on weekends. During the week I have classes Tuesday and Thursday from 1-2:30 and Wednesday from 6-7:30 and am available and flexible otherwise. My own cat sadly just passed but my roommates have two cats. Occasionally I scoop litter and feed the other two and I am always the one trusted with watching them when my roommates are traveling. When my cat was still with me I balanced his diet with wet food in the morning and fresh dry food at night, as well as keeping three stainless steel water fountains around my house. I scooped his litter once a day and fully emptied it and cleaned it every other week. I care very much about my animals and you can expect that same care and attention with yours. I love to go for runs and walks, especially if I'm doing that with a pup. I have no problem cleaning up mess or providing medicine as my roommates cat needs pill medication and eyedrops, which I have given before.

“First time hiring a dog walker (been sick so have not been able to go on walks) and very pleased with the experience. Finley Poodle was a little slow to get started but McKenzie showed great patience and coxed him along and never pulled on leash. Will hire McKenzie again for sure.”

About: I just lost my sweet baby westie in June 2025 and I’m looking for opportunities to take care of your sweet babies and share the love I still have to give 💜 I work full-time Monday - Friday, but I work mostly remote (TBD on my hybrid availability) and have a pretty flexible schedule to take breaks during the day. Right now I think I’m just looking for dog-walking opportunities. As I heal a little more in my grief, I will likely open up other services, as I have a fenced yard and no pets in my home.

“I'm grateful for Abbey's consistency and availability to walk my dog, Jade, on days that I work! She's friendly and communicative and I am assured that Jade is in good hands!”

About: I offer dedicated pet care with a focus on safety, companionship, and fun. Whether it's walking, sitting, or playtime, your pet will be in loving hands. I work at a nail school Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 3 PM, and have Fridays and Saturdays Sundays off, offering flexible pet care services on my days off. I provide personalized care, whether in my home or yours. At my home, pets enjoy a safe, clean environment with cozy spaces for rest and play. At your home, I maintain your pet's routine, offering walks, feeding, and companionship. I focus on keeping your pet comfortable and happy, ensuring they feel secure and loved in both settings. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority.

Cande G.Star Sitter
“I had the pleasure of entrusting my furry friend to the care of Candelaria and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. She is not only a sweet and caring dog owner herself, but her own dog is a perfect example of how well she cares for animals. I felt completely at ease knowing that my dog was in such capable hands. It's hard to find someone who truly loves dogs and treats them like family, but Candelaria is definitely one of those people. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter.”
