About: I grew up with dogs in my home since I was a child. I moved to Charlotte in 1999 and got my Jack Russell Terrier Norman and he was so loved he lived until 18 1/2! I thought I’d give it some time before I got another dog but we ended up getting Coco two weeks later and Enzo several months later. The humans in my household are me, my husband, Chris and my two teenage sons, Greyson (17) and Cayden (16). We all love dogs! I’ll be the only caregiver of your pet but just wanted to include who else is in our home. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m home to give your dog the care he or she needs. My two dogs are very friendly and love to play! I worked for a veterinarian in college so I’ve been around many types of dogs and cats. At my house dogs are family. They are allowed on our furniture and sleep in our bed. We have a huge fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence.

About: I work from home and would love an excuse to get up from my desk and what better excuse than to get some puppy and dog cuddles while also getting exercise by walking. I currently have a corporate work from home job that requires me to be at a desk. This type of schedule fits into my routine because it allows me to visit pets before starting work, at lunch or breaks, and also after work. My schedule is very flexible that I can meet you where you need it. I am very detail oriented and a huge pet lover at heart so when I am visiting your house, I respect the house rules and follow instructions to a T. I also am very high energy due to ADHD and am a great partner for fetch and walks.

About: I’ve had a special love for animals for as long as I can remember, it’s truly been a part of who I am since I was very young. Some of my earliest memories are of picking up worms off the road to keep them from being run over, because even then, I cared deeply about protecting their little lives! When I was just 7 years old, I began walking dogs in my neighborhood after school, and I continued doing so until I was 13, when I moved houses. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, and how to understand each animal’s unique needs and personality. Today, I’m a devoted pet mom to two cats who are a huge part of my life and my heart. My love for animals has only grown stronger over the years, and my goal is to treat every pet I care for with genuine kindness, compassion, and the same love I give my own. I get out of school at 12:30, which gives me plenty of time each day to check in on your sweet pups and kitties—often multiple times a day if needed. I also have reliable transportation, so I’m able to get to your home quickly and be there as soon as possible if your furry friend needs attention. In addition, my other work is online and flexible, allowing me to spend more quality time with the animals in my care rather than being tied to a strict schedule. My flexibility means your pet will receive consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day! I attempt to provide flexible, attentive care based on each pet’s needs and the service requested. I am able to travel to a client’s home at any time needed and can check in multiple times throughout the day to ensure pets are comfortable, well-cared for, and never feel alone. During visits, I will focus on feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of care and attention 🫶. I strive to make every pet feel safe, loved, and cared for just like my own.

About: I have dog sat for several friends and family for many years. I'm very active and love walking, running, and hiking. Your dog will get lots of exercise! I have a Chihuahua and love taking care of her. I always have treats and a tennis ball on me. I currently live Uptown, but my kids go to school in Matthews M-F. I'm looking for a flexible gig that will pass time in the area, so I can be around for my kids, and not have to go back and forth from Uptown to Matthews. I regularly take walks at Squirrel Lake Park for the Greenway, and Colonel Beatty Park for the trails. Having the company of your pooch would be wonderful! I take my dog, Callie, on 2-3 mile long walks daily. She is very healthy and happy and your dog will be too. I'm happy to walk your dog with her if they need company, or solo.
