About: I have personal experience with cats but have watched several family members/friends dogs when needed. My children pet sat and I would accompany them. I love to learn about what makes them unique and I truly love to walk them. I work part-time from home so I have a lot of flexibility. Heavier schedule the 2nd-15th of the month. My children are grown and live out of time, so I have a lot more extra time. Since we have an older cat living with us, I would need to dog/cat sit at the clients house. In an emergency, I could see what I could do.
About: Over the years I’ve cared for dogs in one way or another such as pet sitting, check-in’s and in home day care. When caring for the dogs they have my full attention for play and exercise. I am currently dog walking and checking in part time during the day. If needed I am available on Saturday or Sunday with advance notice. I currently have two Boston Terriers between the age of 3 and 6. They are my furbabies. I’ve not met a dog I haven’t loved. I’ll bring that same attention while checking or walking yours.
“Jordan came over for initially a one day, 3 walks with my dog Zeke and he absolutely loved her. At the end of day three I ended up asking her if she could do a last-minute addition for the next morning, and she was amazing and super accommodating, you can tell Jordan really loves the dog she works with and got some of the most best photos of my pup!! I would recommend her to anyone I know and will be booking again, Zeke gave two paws up ?”

“So can I just say Joseph was amazing! He was the only available person for the time I selected and was super prompt and communicative. I would most certainly recommend and book him again to walk my sweet boy Asher.”

About: I am an experienced pet parent myself. I share my home with a Maine Coon and a Siberian cat, so I know very well how to care for large, fluffy cats with unique personalities and needs. I truly enjoy spending time with animals — whether it’s playtime, feeding, grooming, or simply keeping them company. I am patient, attentive, and gentle, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I am happy to provide: • Drop-in visits (feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, play and cuddles) • Dog walks and exercise • Photo and message updates, so you always know how your pet is doing I always make safety my first priority. At home, my cats (a Maine Coon and a Siberian) have taught me the importance of a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment. I pay close attention to details like secure doors, safe play areas, and removing anything that could be harmful.
“Jeff was so good with our dog. From beginning to end he helped us have peace of mind about the care of our dog and the security of our home. He was flexible and understanding and Finn grew to really enjoy and trust his company. We look forward to using Jeff again and if you’re in need of a dog walker/sitter/trainer, Jeff is your guy!”

“Melissa was so sweet and spent quality time with bogey! She was very thorough and it felt like she gave him extra attention which made me feel better about having him home all day.”

“My dog absolutely loves their walks with Molly! They’re always punctual, caring, and go the extra mile to make sure my pup is happy and well exercised. I can tell they genuinely love animals… I always come home to a tired, loved and happy doggo. 🐶❤️🔥”

“Dorothy is the best! I moved recently and needed someone right away for my fur baby. I appreciate how she communicates during her time with my dog. Dorothy is reliable and loves my chocolate Labrador Retriever. He loves her as well!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats my whole life, loving and caring for them since I was a child. I have experience with big dogs (Dobermans, pitbulls, doodles) and small dogs alike. I can walk multiple at a time as I am also a strong baseball player. I have lots of availability, especially early morning for dog walking, as I am a professional baseball player and it is the offseason. Early morning, afternoons, and even nighttime potentially works for me. I’m open! I am offering dog walking services, so all dogs will be walked appropriately, cleaned up after, and be safe from all vehicles under my watch. They will receive lots of play!
“Laura was absolutely wonderful with Boulder. She was prompt, sent pictures and was so good, my boy was waiting by the door 15 minutes prior. He could not get enough time with her.”

“This was our first experience with Rover and I don’t think it could have been better. April is great! She came as scheduled, took our Maggie for a nice, long walk, sent me a report card with photo and left a happy dog for me to come home to. April will be our “go to” sitter and walker from now on!”

About: For as long as I can remember I have had the greatest love for all animals. I grew up with just about every pet you can imagine. I love caring for them and developing a special bond. I've had dogs and cats since I was very young and grew up with the responsibility of helping take care of them. Over the years I have owned cats and dogs and also participated in fostering both. I am currently at home during the day free most days to care for your pet. I can go on lots of walks and provide lots of playtime. I have one dog and two cats of my own, Ziggy, Popcorn and Birdie. Our yard is fairly big and fenced in and dogs love to run out there. We also have a screened in porch where they can hang in the shade and lounge on outdoor sofas. The dogs are welcome to go throughout our house except for the cat room where our cats stay and one more room upstairs. We have a lot of space for them at over 4000 sq ft. but we keep a watchful eye on where they are and what they're doing. We prefer if your dog is crate trained that you bring their crate with you when you drop them off. Our dog Ziggy is a small-medium sized mixed breed dog who loves to run and play. Your dog will get a lot of play time in, unless we notice that they seem to be wanting alone time, in which case we'll separate them and let them rest some. If your dog is older, with a greater need for downtime, we have many ways to separate more rambunctious dogs.

Providence Plantation dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t say enough good things about Molly. She is absolutely fantastic with my dog…caring, reliable, and so easy to communicate with. My pup came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. She always gives great updates and pictures from each walk, which I really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes pride in what she does… Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!

Beth was amazing! I had her checking on my dog in the afternoon while I was in the office because he is recovering from pneumonia. Her veterinary experience made me feel so much better about leaving him. She sent pictures and updated me on his condition (letting me know how much he was coughing, etc). I highly recommend Beth and will definitely be booking her again!

Kelli walked my dog Charlie while I was out of town. She communicated promptly, asked thoroughly questions, and was not daunted by his big puppy energy. I also really appreciated that she looked up the weather ahead of time and we adjusted walk times accordingly with the heat index. She arrived on time and he returned a happy & tired dog ready for his morning snooze. The next time I’m out of town and she’s available, l’d definitely book Kelli again!
