I've had a Chinese Crested Powder Puff (aged 15), a Chipoo Chinese Crested mix (aged 17), and multiple Jack Russell/Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mixes. I have some experience looking after cats as well! I am able to take care of pretty much all their essential needs. I can also provide playtime for pets under my supervision. I ensure that they are in a safe space and away from any hazards. I'm good at providing updates, with pictures included, so you know that your pet is doing well while you are away! I have a somewhat flexible schedule. You can rest assured that your furry friend will have a safe environment to running around and play in. I also have a flexible part-time job with shifts up to four hours (up to five hours total including travel time). However, my schedule is adjustable, and I’m usually able to move or release shifts when needed — especially for pets who require more frequent care. I’m mindful of how long pets are left alone and plan my schedule carefully to prioritize their comfort and routine. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can remain in their familiar, comfortable environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate preferences, and any household rules — to keep things consistent and stress-free. Safety is always a priority. I’m attentive during walks, mindful of secure doors and gates, and careful about food, treats, and household hazards. I also pay close attention to behavior changes and will communicate promptly if anything seems unusual. I treat every home with the utmost respect — keeping spaces clean, tidy, and secure while you’re away. You can expect regular updates and photos so you have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, cared for, and comfortable.
