I work full-time during the week but am most available: Thursday through Sunday - I work remotely so I will be available throughout the day Monday – Wednesday with some flexibility for pets that are comfortable being crated or free-roaming while I'm at work (8 hours). I can do morning, evening, and bedtime care on those days. I’m happy to travel to your home for house sitting or drop-ins—keeping your pet in their familiar space for maximum comfort. I always strive to communicate clearly and promptly, keep your space clean and secure, and give detailed updates (with plenty of photos!) so you feel confident and connected while you’re away.

I welcome all breeds and sizes! However, for safety reasons, I may not be a good match for highly aggressive pets - as I am a 5’2” woman lol. I want to ensure both your pet and I are comfortable and safe. A typical day
I love staying active with the pets I care for—daily walks, backyard playtime, or mentally engaging games like treat puzzles are a regular part of my routine. But I also love winding down with a movie and a snuggle buddy on the couch. Whether your pet is high-energy or a mellow homebody, I’ll match their pace.

My name is Caitlin, I am a lifelong animal lover and vegetarian based in Concord, NC. After my beloved dog of 15 years passed away in 2018, I found joy in caring for pets of family, friends, and neighbors. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of pets—including seniors and those with special needs. For most of us animal lovers they are our emotional support, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your fur baby in someone else's care. Your pet will be treated like family under my watch. Whether we’re going on a walk, cuddling on the couch, or following a specialized routine, I provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care that helps your pet feel safe and loved while you're away. Caitlin did a wonderful job of taking care of our dog Poppy! She was very respectful to our home and helpful around the house. She helped feed our lizards while we were away and gave our dog her dream staycation.
Caitlin is a dream!! We called her last minute to help us out with our pup and she was more than accommodating!! She was friendly, prompt and even straightened the house up before leaving. Staxx was extremely comfortable with her friendly nature. She provided pictures throughout her stay and I felt our fur baby was in great hands. I will definitely use her services again so please fur moms and dads leave a little availability for me lol. THANK YOU AGAIN CAITLIN!!!!
We have used Caitlin several times to watch our golden retriever and have been impressed with her! She is great with communication, making sure that all your animal’s needs are met and is willing to help with other tasks if you need. We will continue to use Caitlin as she provides us with a piece of mind while being away from our pup.
We were very hopeful about using Caitlin based on our initial meeting, but unfortunately, the service provided while we were away was well below the agreed-upon standards. The main issue was a lack of adherence to the detailed care instructions we provided. While our pets were fed they were left alone for much longer than the maximum time frame we explicitly discussed and agreed to. We confirmed this via our doorbell camera footage, which also showed that the agreed-upon daily walks did not happen as scheduled. She left the puppy in the crate and let them stay in his own pee the whole time and our home smelled like pee as soon as we walked in. When we reached out to the sitter she always had an excuse and apologized but the care was so bad we almost fired her but could not find anyone else to keep them on short notice. The lack of reliability and failure to follow the care plan was very worrisome. We hired a professional service to ensure peace of mind, but instead, we spent our vacation stressed.
