Haley was amazing and Brody loved his visits with her. I am a travel nurse and we were in town for a week, I had rented an Air Bnb and needed someone to let Brody out during my 12 hour shifts. Haley was on time, had great communication and Brody loved his afternoon stills and belly rubs. It was so nice seeing her Rover card reports and not needing to worry so I could take care of my patients. If we are ever back in town I would definitely ask Haley again to look after my pup.

About: At the age of 12, I decided that I wanted to be a dog walker. I put up flyers and was able to make a little business out of it for a while. I love animals, especially dogs. I pay attention to detail. Dogs are extremely intelligent; that’s why I’ve always been so intrigued by them. I’m in college, so I’d like to fill some of my time doing something that I enjoy. I do have a fairly flexible schedule :) **Disclaimer: Im unable to board dogs that have excessive shedding due to my allergies. I do apologize for this inconvenience!! Making sure my fur friend is comfortable & at ease is vital. So, getting them situated with their necessities first, then making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. And if they allow a little play time, I take advantage of that as well!

About: Hi my name is Katelyn but I go by Nova! I’ve taken care of animals since I was around 8 years old and can’t imagine not having one with me. I now have just 2 cats and a bully mix. I’ve taken care of mainly herding mixes so I can safely say that dogs that are “a lot of dog “ are my specialty. Positive reinforcement based Training has also been a special interest of mine for a few years now and so I’m quite knowledgeable on that subject as well! I work full time pet sitting and dog walking! Because of this I’m pretty much always available to care for or walk your fur baby! I will care for your animals with the utmost care, responsibility, safety, and detail as if they were my own. I’m unable to provide boarding services at the moment but I still do pet sitting!

Ponderosa-Wingate, Charlotte, NC, 28208

About: I bring many years of hands-on animal care experience, both professionally and personally. I’ve worked in animal care and management roles for nearly a decade, where I was responsible for daily husbandry, health monitoring, medication administration, enrichment, and individualized care plans for pets of all temperaments and needs. I’m especially comfortable caring for senior pets, anxious pets, and animals with medical or behavioral considerations. I’m attentive to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and take a proactive, calm approach to ensure pets feel safe and supported. I also have experience with puppies, including reinforcing potty routines, basic training, and providing structure while keeping things positive and stress-free. Because I’m currently home full-time, your pet receives consistent supervision, companionship, and enrichment throughout the day — not just drop-ins between other commitments. I treat every pet as an individual, adapting my care to their personality, routine, and comfort level. Clear communication is important to me, and I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and notes so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is always the same: to make your pet feel secure, loved, and truly cared for in your absence. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I’m currently home full-time. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, timely meals, enrichment, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I structure my days around the pets in my care, adjusting to their normal schedules as closely as possible. Whether that means early morning walks, midday play sessions, medication timing, or quiet rest periods, I’m flexible and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. Because I don’t juggle pet sitting around a separate full-time job, your pet isn’t left alone for long stretches. My weekly routine is intentionally open, making it easy for me to accommodate longer stays, last-minute requests, puppies, seniors, and pets that need extra attention. My goal is to create a calm, predictable environment where your pet feels secure and cared for — just like they would at home. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I take a calm, attentive, and proactive approach to ensure each pet’s well-being. In my home, pets are closely supervised and never left unattended outdoors. While my backyard is large but not fully fenced, all outdoor time is done on leash or under direct supervision, depending on the pet’s comfort level and owner preference. This allows pets to safely enjoy fresh air and movement without risk. I’m careful to pet-proof spaces, keep doors and gates secure, and follow household rules and routines closely. In a client’s home, I respect the space as if it were my own and follow all care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medications, and any safety preferences. I’m attentive to pet body language and behavior, especially with new environments or routines, and I prioritize low-stress handling and positive reinforcement. Clear communication is important to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins so you feel confident your pet is safe and comfortable. My goal is to create a secure, calm environment where your pet feels protected, respected, and cared for at all times.

I couldn’t be happier with our experience! He was incredibly reliable and communicated so well the entire time. I loved receiving pictures and detailed stats from Marcelo’s full 1-hour walk—it gave me so much peace of mind. He followed all of the special instructions I left, especially around food, to a tee, and it was so clear how loving and attentive he was with Marcelo. My dog absolutely loved him. Truly a fantastic sitter—I almost wish I could keep him a secret! Highly, highly recommend.

Alaijaz was amazing to work with! She treated my young puppy as if he were hers. She gave him patience, love, and attention - all things I was concerned about given my puppy's high energy and other needs. She responded promptly, was always on time, and was respectful of my circumstances and my puppy's needs. This was my first time leaving my puppy behind, my first time using a dog sitter, and my first time using Rover. I now feel comfortable leaving him in Alaijaz's capable and dependable hands and will unquestionably reach out to her in the future. I highly recommend Alaijaz and Rover!
