About: I’ve always been a big animal gal — growing up, I insisted on having fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even rats (though not all at once!). Most of all, I loved my big yellow lab, Opie. 🏡🐶🐱 When I moved to Charlotte in 2018, I quickly adopted my cat, Luna (now 8; 9lb) and in 2020 my dog, Aurora (now 6; 55lb). We live in a house in Wilmore (South End) with a fenced yard and access to great neighborhood walks! 🐶 Aurora is a very friendly gal who loves making new friends! She is comfortable sharing her space, treats, walks, and toys with others. 🐈‍⬛ Luna tolerates dogs in her space, lol. In the case of doggy day care or boarding, it’s very important to me that your pup is friendly toward (or even better, completely uninterested in) cats! I also have a crate and am able to supervise the multi-pet dynamic while I’m home and crate them while I’m away if needed! 🗓️ Because I work unconventional hours (late afternoons and evenings), I’m available for walks in the morning and early afternoon ☀️ I do not work on Sundays and Mondays and am available for more frequent care/potty breaks on those days! I’m available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before 2:30PM and after ~9:30PM! Fridays and Saturdays are available for pups who don’t mind hanging out with my pup while I’m at work most of the day 🫡 In the case of doggy day care or boarding, I live in a two-bedroom home with fenced-in yard and a furry companion (Aurora) to offer up! Potty breaks are readily available while I’m home, and my neighborhood is great for walks! My dog is 55 pounds, and I am comfortable walking with larger dogs. Pets are allowed on the furniture and can be crated if needed. If I’m dropping in to your home, I will of course be respectful of your space and treat it how I’d want you to treat mine!

About: At the age of 12, I decided that I wanted to be a dog walker. I put up flyers and was able to make a little business out of it for a while. I love animals, especially dogs. I pay attention to detail. Dogs are extremely intelligent; that’s why I’ve always been so intrigued by them. I’m in college, so I’d like to fill some of my time doing something that I enjoy. I do have a fairly flexible schedule :) **Disclaimer: Im unable to board dogs that have excessive shedding due to my allergies. I do apologize for this inconvenience!! Making sure my fur friend is comfortable & at ease is vital. So, getting them situated with their necessities first, then making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. On a typical weekend, I’m available throughout the day for morning potty breaks and feeding, walks, playtime, plenty of attention, and evening care. I’m able to adjust my schedule based on each pet’s normal routine, including meal times, walks, medications, and bedtime. My family also helps with pet care when needed, so pets have plenty of attention and supervision throughout their stay. Safety and comfort are really important in our home. When caring for pets from multiple families, dogs can be separated as needed so everyone has their own safe space to relax and decompress. Dogs are fed separately in their own crates or designated spaces to prevent food-related conflicts, and crates can also be used for rest or whenever an owner requests it. I try to make each pet’s stay feel as familiar and comfortable as possible, so owners are encouraged to bring their pet’s favorite bed, blanket, stuffed toy, or “lovey” from home. I follow each pet’s normal feeding, potty, medication, and sleeping routine as closely as possible. Pets are supervised during interactions, and I pay attention to their individual personalities and comfort levels rather than expecting every dog to immediately become best friends. My goal is to give each pet plenty of attention while also making sure they have a comfortable, secure place to retreat and relax when they need it.

About: I have been around many cats and dogs with all personality types. Whether they are energetic, aggressive, shy, or just begging for treats all of the time, nothing really fazes me. I’ve watched many cats and dogs from a young age. While getting to love and bond with a new animal, I understand the amount of responsibility it takes to take care of animals, especially if they are not your own. My family and I used to foster kittens and sometimes puppies so I am also used to young animals that may not be potty trained or need extra supervision! On the flip side, my childhood cat lived until 15 years old; understanding the needs of an older animal is also something that is important to me while sitting. I work full time, mostly in the early morning. When working an early morning shift, I’m usually off by 2:00. I have two shifts per week that I work until 7:00 PM, but I will have my mornings free until around noon. I also have 2 days off per week. When sitting your animal, they will be my top priority. Whether it’s during a walk, feeding time, or playtime, I will want to spend as much time as I can with your furry friend! If you are looking for your animal to stay at my home, I can only accept dogs. My cat does not do well with other cats but he loves dogs. If you have a fully potty trained dog who can coexist with cats, they are welcome in my home. I will not be at home all day but when I am, majority of that time will be spent with your animal.
