About: I grew up in a pet loving household with cats, dogs and the occasional hamster or two. My husband and I now have a sassy 13 year old calico named Mittens and our newest addition is a rescue puppy called Leia. We also recently had to say goodbye to our senior dog Arlie. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats throughout their life stages and changing needs. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. Afternoons specifically I am usually wide open and love getting a good walk in with a pup! My weekends tend to be very flexible as well. I treat your pets as I do my own with lots of care, attention and love. After a life spent around pets I'm very good at reading their emotions and will do my best to have a fun and safe time together.
“Caitlin was GREAT! It was her first time with my Fur son & she handled him so well. She had great communication while I as away and asked all the right questions. She nearby so I’ll most likely be using her again. I was able to enjoy my vacation comfortably without micromanaging. Thank you Caitlin, I’ll book you again soon! <3”

“Tre has become like family. He is always available to take care of Dax when I need and treats him as if he was his own. He’s very personable, responsible, reliable, accommodating to my crazy schedule and he will definitely continue to be my go-to.”

“Kim is reliable, punctual, and great with Banks! She comes twice a week to walk our dog and is always on time or early, communicates timely, and even offered to come meet us and Banks prior to establishing a recurring walk. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and grew up with two family dogs, giving me years of hands on experience with daily care, including walking, feeding, and playtime. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet sat for friends and helped care for their dogs while they were away. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I work fully remote, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to take dogs on walks, provide drop in visits, and give them the attention they need. I also enjoy going on walks and runs as part of my own routine, so staying active with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always providing a safe environment. I live in an apartment community with a fenced-in dog park, which provides a secure space for dogs to get exercise and enjoy time outdoors while being closely supervised. I am attentive to each pet’s routine and needs, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner.
“Grace was absolutely amazing! She was on time, kept me updated, and made sure my dog had everything. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of pet care!”

About: I’ve always been a big animal gal — growing up, I insisted on having fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even rats (though not all at once!). Most of all, I loved my big yellow lab, Opie. 🏡🐶🐱 When I moved to Charlotte in 2018, I quickly adopted my cat, Luna (now 7; 9lb) and in 2020 my dog, Aurora (now 6; 55lb). We live in a house in Wilmore (South End) with a fenced yard and access to great neighborhood walks! 🐶 Aurora is a very friendly gal who loves making new friends! She is comfortable sharing her space, treats, walks, and toys with others. 🐈⬛ Luna tolerates dogs in her space, lol. In the case of doggy day care or boarding, it’s very important to me that your pup is friendly toward (or even better, completely uninterested in) cats! I also have a crate and am able to supervise the multi-pet dynamic while I’m home and crate them while I’m away! 🗓️ Because I work unconventional hours (late afternoons and evenings), I’m available for walks in the morning and early afternoon ☀️ I do not work on Sundays and Mondays and am available for more frequent care/potty breaks on those days! I’m available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before 2:30PM and after 9:30PM! Fridays and Saturdays are available for pups who don’t mind hanging out with my pup while I’m at work most of the day 🫡 In the case of doggy day care or boarding, I live in a two-bedroom home with fenced-in yard and a furry companion (Aurora) to offer up! Potty breaks are readily available while I’m home, and my neighborhood is great for walks! My dog is 55 pounds, and I am comfortable walking with larger dogs. Pets are allowed on the furniture and can be crated if needed. If I’m dropping in to your home, I will of course be respectful of your space and treat it how I’d want you to treat mine!
“I had such a great experience! One of my dogs is usually very shy around new people, but she was so gentle and patient with her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog walker, and I plan on reaching out again if I need help in the future!”

About: South End Charlotte local and remote professional with a highly flexible schedule. I’ve been around animals my whole life, dogs, cats, snakes, you name it! I’m comfortable with all personalities and energy levels as long as they don’t bite. I’ve also dog sat and cat sat for multiple families over the years, caring for pets of all ages and temperaments. I’m very active and out on walks and runs often, so I’m happy to bring high-energy dogs along for extra exercise or provide calm, attentive care for more laid-back pets. I can walk or drive locally and love staying right here in the neighborhood. Reliable, active, and ready to help! I value clear communication and would love to learn how you train and handle your pet so I can provide care that feels consistent and familiar. I am a remote worker and have a flexible work schedule. I am happy to stop in morning, afternoon, or night time depending on what best works for you! I like to communicate with the owner on how they train their pet so it is familiar and consistent for the animal. I haven’t had a pet in a couple years and always treat each animal like my own.
“Rachel has been absolutely amazing with Hartley! It’s clear she gives her so much care and attention on every walk. We love the updates she sends—complete with adorable photos of our baby girl—and it gives us total peace of mind. She’s also super organized, on top of everything, and so easy to get along with. Couldn’t ask for a better dog walker!”

“This was our first experience we had working with a dog walker . Rachel absolutely loves dogs. She happily met with us a couple of times for a meet and greet. Once at her house and once at ours. We loved that she sent pictures, showed us the walking route, and gave us a doggie report after each walk. The days she was scheduled to walk were hot and her flexibility to come earlier than planned was highly appreciated. We will certainly use Rachel again.”

“I’ve only had great experiences with Hope and would highly recommend! She is consistently reliable, punctual, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. My dog always comes back happy and relaxed, which gives me a lot of peace of mind.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for many years. I lived for 2 years with an adult black lab - feedings, walkings, and lots of pets. I have also been dog sitting for neighbors for years both daily and for long weekends over nights. I have done both staying at the home (house sitting) and just during the dog sitting for dogs of a multitude of sizes and ages. I work full-time hybrid with a flexible work schedule. My typical schedule is 8:30am to 4pm with an hour lunch break that can be taken as needed. Depending on location I can come and go from the office and my home depending on walk times. Weekend are completely open (depending on schedule). Happy to keep your fur baby and home clean and safe while I am dog sitting. I have years of experience and have a careful attention to detail, especially regarding instructions for how to care for your animal(s).
“Eric was great with Benito ! Benito looked so happy throughout! It was a plus that Eric was able to assist in such a short notice. Will definitely love to book him again!”

“Hi Anthony-I appreciated you being available in short notice. And I’m grateful for the time you gave on Friday. I am going to cancel the bookings for this week though because the extra dog fee was more than I am used to paying for a 30 minute walk. It has nothing to do with you - you were great.”

The median cost per walk for dog walking in Wilmore is $20
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wilmore
We had a wonderful experience with Kaitlyn. She took great care of our dog and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos, and it was clear our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Also she helped me very last minute which was incredible!

Emily was incredible. Extremely communicative and responsive, paid attention to the weather and adjusted walk times to take our dog out before an incoming storm or to beat an especially hot day. She also took awesome pictures of our animals and sent them with every update. I could not be more pleased with her services and will be looking forward to hiring her again. 10/10, no notes.

Eric has been absolutely wonderful with Seal! I reached out to him last minute, and he was incredibly responsive and quickly scheduled a meet-and-greet to learn about Seal’s needs and routine. It was clear right away how thoughtful and attentive he is. Seal really enjoys her walks with him, and I feel so comfortable knowing she’s in caring hands. Eric is reliable, communicative, and does a fantastic job — I’ll definitely be booking him again in the future!
