“Amazing care team! I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. They are spoiled and a handful. I needed someone to trust my babies with. I have a couple of fearful dogs. In the time Demarquez and Tatiana were here, the dogs came to trust them. They were content when we got home and the house was left clean. Not something I've always experienced. We can travel more now since we've found sitters I can trust. Thank you so much for caring for my furry four legged freeloaders!”

“Carissa is UNBELIEVABLE!! She went over and above what I asked her to do!! She stayed the weekend ( I wanted someone with my little girl all the time) came home and my house was cleaner than I had even left it!! She’s really good!”

“Maggie was outstanding. She had a lot of fun with Karma, and provided regular updates and photos. Extremely professional. I highly recommend her. Will use her services again!”

“Not sure who liked her more our dog or us!!! Sammie is amazing! Followed the directions for our dog down to the very finest detail. She communicates often and clearly and took care of everything we needed. We highly recommend Sammie and will calling her in the future!”

“We’re so glad we found Elizabeth! We felt at ease leaving the dogs with them because they are caring. They sent updates, pictures, and videos of our dogs which gave us peace of mind. We were a little bit worried because one of our dogs is a rescue who does not trust people immediately, but he felt so comfortable with Elizabeth and they were great with him. We’re lucky to have found Elizabeth on rover and hope to have them watch our dogs again in the future! Thank you Elizabeth!”

“Laura Anne is great! From the minute you meet her, you can tell she’s an animal lover. My dogs that are usually anxious while we are gone seemed totally at ease in her care. She left our house in pristine condition. Thanks, Laura Anne!”

“Victoria was great with my pup. She sent pictures throughout the day, took her on a long walk and out to go potty. She was attentive and loving and willing to work on the crate training we are doing. Will definitely use her again!”
“Marnesha was wonderful. She communicated, sent pictures and was on top of everything. One of our dogs takes a while to warm to new people and Marnesha had her charmed in no time.”

“Danielle stayed in my home for 5 days with my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She took great care of them- one of my dogs needed unexpected antibiotics which she just worked into their routine with ease. The house was in perfect order upon my return, my animals happy and healthy. Fantastic job and lots of pictures and feedback! Thank you so much Danielle!”

“Mary was a perfect choice to stay in my home with my three dogs. Even when there was a commercial power outage she contacted me to let me know is and handled everything well. I felt completely satisfied with her amount of communication and her visit before the stay.”

About: Wonderland Dog Resort and Spa is a Doggy Vacation Destination! (Find our NEW page on Facebook) We LOVE dogs in this home! All breeds, all sizes, all ages and ESPECIALLY senior dogs! I have been training, walking, grooming, feeding, and otherwise raising four-legged babies for 32 years. I've cared for many types of dogs with different abilities and special care needs including Duke, a senior golden retriever with severe allergies, a hernia, arthritis, and bone cancer- an energetic 175lb. Yellow lab named Kato, who had search and rescue training best used to deroot small trees during fetch, and to locate his favorite tug-rope for endless hours of training reinforcement, known to him only as "playtime", -a frail teddybear rescue named Chug, with debilitating anxiety and canine behavioral disorder, requiring medication- and Xeno, a husky variety, who requires constant exercise and attention, to name a few. Good pet care comes from recognizing each animal as an individual with needs and then meeting those needs. There is no such thing as a bad dog. Only humans whom don't understand animal cues and how to effectively communicate with them. My goal is to build a relationship with each pet and their families to not only offer needed boarding and walking services, but to support their personal or medical needs and training journey as well. In my home we focus on learning through fun and positive reinforcement for good behavior. Dogs can expect treats for following commands, defecating or urinating outside, and for a reward after bathing or grooming, with owner consent. Dogs requiring medication are welcome, and again will be given a treat for taking meds, with owner consent. Treats are always provided free of charge and you are welcome to supply your own if your dog has dietary restrictions. What to expect: All visiting dogs who are ambulatory are walked a minimum every 2-3 hours and offered playtime in our shaded grass yard for 30-45 minutes at a time 2-3 times a day, unless it is unsafe to do so due to weather. When visiting you, I strive to closely follow your itinerary when provided, or provide well rounded care without instruction through walks, playtime with toys, obedience training, and affection. When not out enjoying activites, visiting dogs will be in an air-conditioned home with access to dog-beds and toys, and unless requested, are not discouraged from going on furniture. There will be other dogs present, since we have 2 very friendly registered service dogs of our own. If we come to you we do not bring our dogs unless requested to do so. Dogs will interact and train with our child to encourage behavioral and training growth in a distracting atmosphere. All dogs will have a safe environment and compassionate care while their humans are away. We will love your fur-babies like they are our own loved ones, every single time, no matter the challenges they face. Dogs dietary and medical needs are my top priority. All feeding and medication schedules will be followed with the strictest adherence. Visiting dogs not on dietary restrictions have unregulated access to food and water while boarding, unless requested otherwise. In home feedings will be as scheduled by client but water will always be checked/changed/filled. Positive reinforcement is our method. We have 2 registered service dogs of our own and will happily assist your training journey. Dogs will be rewarded with treats, unless otherwise requested, any time they go potty outside, follow commands, take meds, bathe, or otherwise complete a task appropriately. All dogs have access to toys, beds, and a crate during boarding. When at my home, leashes are required outdoors, except when we visit the dog park. When visiting your home my goal is to make that visit the highlight of your dogs life! I strive to play with all pets in my care. If your dogs do not take interest in toys, as has been my experience that not all do, that time is spent with cuddles, belly rubs, and command response training, in addition to the scheduled walk or potty break. I make sure the pet feels quality time was spent with them by someone who came just to see them and values their importance in the family. When at my home, dogs are allowed to move freely throughout the house. We have laminate floors that are easy on allergies and make accidents easy to clean up. We keep our home quite cool, with central air, which is great for northern breeds, and we offer plenty of warm soft places to curl up, otherwise. Your pets will be treated like a member of our family. We love animals and want them to have the happiest day of their lives whether they visit us or we come to them. Bathing services offered for non-aggressive pups. Wonderland Dog Resort is in operation 24 hours a day, over 350 days of the year, offering both holiday and extended stay care and is my full-time career, as the owner and operator. Mommy and daddy know best! We follow all itineraries provided and are extremely diligent about following medication regimens, dietary restrictions, and other special needs. We specialize in (but are not limited to) Special Needs dogs. The safety of our pups is our number one concern! We also work with them on command response training to help ensure future safety after they leave. Pet patents recieve photo and video updates an the end of every day. Dogs can expect lots of pets, treats, fetch, tug, gentle brushings, walks, car rides, snuggles, trips to the dog park, and lots of socialization! All dogs are kept on slip-resistant leashes at all times, when not at the dog park. We go out for potties every 1.5-2 hours, walk every 4 hours, and go to the dog park nightly. Dogs socialize under close supervision and are trained on proper socialization. Wonderland is set-up for comfort. Dogs are allowed on furniture and most are able to sleep in our bed with us or are welcome to chose from the large selection of crates, beds, pillows, and blankets. Dog toys are rotated every few days to keep playtime interesting. We keep pups engaged and active and provide companionship to timid and anxious dogs, who may be less playful or experiencing their first time away from home.
“Robin was excellent! She watched our dog and cat for 10 days and was very attentive to them and showed them love while we were away. We felt confident that they were in good hands with her. We would definitely love to have Robin watch them again in the future.”
“Sara B took wonderful care is senior dog Sparky, who can act like a puppy. She sent pictures of Sparky doing her favorite things: walking her favorite route, fetching a ball and cuddling. Sara even took care of a major chore: Sparky is paper trained. I would highly recommend Sara B for her excellent social and emotional contact with 9 1/2 year old Sparky, the dachshund and lab mix who is young at heart. Thank you, Sara B!”

About: I have over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I pay close attention to routines, exercise needs, and any special instructions to ensure every dog receives the best care possible. My goal is to provide a fun, stress-free environment where pet parents can feel confident their dogs are in good hands. I’m currently on summer break from school, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets throughout the day. I’m available weekdays and weekends for walks and drop-ins. Because I have open availability, I’m able to provide lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship to help your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I have 3 dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for your pets. During walks and drop-in visits, I focus on safety, attention, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and making sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for while their owners are away.
“Gretchen was great! One of our dogs recently started having some health issues so we were worried about leaving him. But Gretchen replied quickly and communicated often, even sending cute pics :) which definitely made our trip a little easier to enjoy. We would absolutely recommend her to watch your furry friend!”

“Shell did a great job watching Ruger. Ruger is a senior dog with some extra needs and Shell did a great job following all the given instructions. She provided pictures and updates during the whole stay. Shell was very respectful while staying in my home and left the house clean and tidy. I would book with her again.”

“Danielle is an absolute superstar! I highly recommend her to care for your fur babies. We reached out to her last minute to watch Emma, our high energy mini Goldendoodle puppy, and she was so lovely and accommodating. She sent lots of pics of our princess pup and her two cat sisters, and even left a sweet card that recapped Emma’s day. The most telling part of Danielle’s expertise and energy, is that our skittish cat Gizmo, who normally hides when new people come over, wanted to cuddle up next to her! Cat, puppy, and human approved.”

Booking Maggie was a wonderful treat! She is in high demand, but had a cancellation and was able to watch my fur family on very short notice. Her communication was great - I received tons of pictures and her response time was almost immediate. I have 7 animals in total, and Maggie kept everybody safe and happy! My house was just as I left it when I got home. I HIGHLY recommend Maggie!!

Margret-Anne was the absolute best dog sitter I have ever had through Rover. I got updates, photos, and fun facts about their days - it was an absolute joy to have her watch my dog. I usually worry while someone is at my house with my dog and I didn't have a care in the world while I was out of town. I'm so impressed with her! Thanks Margret!!

Yelena was incredibly kind, communicative, and reliable. Our dog has some quirks and health issues, and she handled it all with confidence and positivity. We appreciated getting frequents messages and pictures during our time away, and she even treated our dog to a new toy during her stay! We felt very comfortable having her take care of our home and dog while we were out of town.

Shell did a great job watching Ruger. Ruger is a senior dog with some extra needs and Shell did a great job following all the given instructions. She provided pictures and updates during the whole stay. Shell was very respectful while staying in my home and left the house clean and tidy. I would book with her again.

Marie is the best! She was so good with my 20 month old Golden Retriever, and was wonderfully responsible watching him in my home for two days and nights for the first time. Marie communicates very promptly and professionally, and is super easy to work with. Highly recommend Marie to anyone looking for a fantastic Rover for their pet!
