Experienced, Reliable Pet Sitter

🐾 Experienced, Reliable Pet Sitter | 14+ Arizona Sits & Repeat Clients Hi, I’m Zandra! I’m a calm, dependable, and genuinely animal-loving pet sitter with 9+ years of experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, reptiles, and other pets for friends, family and acquaintances. Over the past year, I’ve completed 14+ pet sits throughout Arizona, including Flagstaff, Phoenix, and Tucson, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have several families ask me to come back and care for their pets again. Building that kind of trust with both pets and their people is one of my favorite parts of what I do. I work remotely, so I’m able to spend a lot of time at home with the pets in my care. I love having animals as my companions throughout the day, whether that means a morning walk, playtime between work, a midday potty break, or simply having a furry friend curled up nearby while I work. I’m naturally calm and patient, and I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and routine. Some pets want constant attention and adventure, while others are happiest with a quiet house, a predictable schedule, and someone nearby. I’m happy to meet them where they are. My long-term goal is to make pet sitting my full-time career, continuing to build relationships with wonderful families and expanding my experience to eventually include horse sitting and care for larger animals. 🏡 In-Home Pet Sitting When I stay in your home, your pets are my priority. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible and provide the care, companionship, and attention they’re accustomed to. This can include: • Feeding and fresh water • Potty breaks and walks • Playtime and enrichment • Lots of companionship and cuddles • Medication and special-care instructions when discussed in advance • Maintaining normal feeding and sleep routines • Bringing mail/packages inside • Watering plants and basic home care • Keeping your home clean, tidy, and secure I understand that leaving your pets can be stressful. My goal is to make the experience as easy as possible by keeping their routine familiar and providing you with peace of mind while you're away. 🐶🐱 Drop-In Visits I also offer drop-in visits for pets who are more comfortable staying in their own home. I’ll make sure they have everything they need while you're away, including food, water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and companionship. 🐶 Dog Walking Seasonal dog walks are available October through March. Because Arizona summers can be extremely hot, I only offer dog walking during the cooler months when outdoor walks are safer and more comfortable for dogs. I tailor walks to each dog’s age, energy level, personality, and comfort level. My goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable walk with plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment.

Safety, trust & environment

I believe great pet care starts with creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment. Whether I’m caring for your pets in their home or taking them on a walk, I follow their established routines and pay close attention to their individual needs, personality, and comfort level. For in-home stays, I treat your home with the same respect I would want for my own. I keep doors, gates, and other entry points secure, make sure pets are safely inside when they should be, and follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, allergies, behavioral needs, and household routines. I’m attentive to potential safety concerns such as weather, unfamiliar surroundings, other animals, and anything that could cause a pet stress or injury. For Arizona dog walks, I only offer walks from **October through March** because cooler temperatures make outdoor exercise safer and more comfortable. I also understand that some pets need time to warm up to a new person. I never force interaction. I let pets approach me at their own pace and build trust through patience, consistency, positive attention, and respecting their boundaries. Your pets’ safety and well-being always come first. My goal is for them to feel secure and cared for, while you have peace of mind knowing that both your pets and your home are in responsible hands.

Zandra was a great house/pet sitter for us! They left our house really clean, sent daily pictures of our kiddos, and communicated regularly throughout the sit. Zandra was really organized during our initial virtual meeting and took note of all relevant things for the sit which was helpful. Would have them again!

Zandra has been watching my pets and home for over 10 years and I trust no one else! Z is extremely caring with our pets and home, to ensure we have peace of mind while we're away. We currently have a senior dog (17) and two puppies (6mos). Our senior dog is sensitive, needs meds, and has ever changing needs that need extra care and attention. After bringing the puppies home, we needed extra help. Z has been an integral part in helping us get them all adapted. Zandra truly cares about the wellness and safety of your pets and will step up to ensure they're taken care of!

It’s helpful to know a few things about your pet ahead of time so I can provide the best care: • Routines: Feeding schedule, potty habits, walk times, and sleep preferences • Personality & Temperament: Energy level, favorite toys or games, how they interact with strangers or other pets •Special Needs: Medications, medical conditions, or any special care instructions • Fears & Anxieties: Things that stress them out or situations to avoid • Clean & Safe Environment: I prioritize keeping your pet’s space tidy, comfortable, and safe, and I ask that the home environment is kept clean and organized for the pet’s well-being Knowing these details helps me ensure your pet is happy, healthy, and stress-free while you’re away.
