Who let the dogs out? Me!
I have been petsitting since I was a teenager and it is something I look forward to doing each time. I am a huge animal person and have been since I was a little kid. Over the years, my mother worked at a wildlife rehabilitation center and was also the director of a cat shelter, which allowed me hands-on interaction that deepened my understanding of the behavior and body language of a wide array of species. I have experience administering oral medication. I have not yet needed to provide meds via injection but I have seen it done many times and would absolutely be capable once given a demonstration. Alongside cats and dogs, I am also experienced in watching reptiles, rodents, arachnids, and fish. Though I have not personally house sat for birds, I have been around them since I was young and am very familiar with their behavior and general needs. I would be delighted to meet and care for your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
I am unable to offer boarding in my home. I will happily travel to you and will offer overnight, drop-in visits, or walks as needed. Updates and pictures will be provided daily so that you always stay in the loop. I am familiar with the 24 hour vets in the area in case of emergencies or I can happily use a preferred location.

Schedule
I am currently self-employed and make my own schedule. I will be taking college classes part time this fall, but I will still be available 7 days a week.
