About: I’ve been taking care of neighborhood dogs and dogs that my parents friends have had since I was in elementary school, and I have an 11 year old miniature poodle mix that I trained myself but I’ve always loved dogs of all breeds. I have experience working with tiny and huge dogs, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, high energy dogs, special needs dogs, untrained dogs, heavy pullers, and puppies of various ages. I’m also quite strong and can handle big/rambunctious/reactive dogs with ease, so you wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I can safely handle your dog. I’m currently back from college for the summer and don’t have a lot going on (aside from taking care of my own dog) so I’m home and available all day most days (aside from when I occasionally go stay with my long term girlfriend for a weekend or so). I decided to start working with Rover because I love animals and I’m happier when I have such a fun reason to get some exercise and leave my house :) I have a large grassy (and freshly fenced) in backyard to play in and make sure to routinely check the integrity of the fence and that there aren’t any potential hazards in my backyard. My dog is quite the lounge-around-inside-where-it’s-cool type, so if you would want your dog to have some off leash time in my backyard, even reactive and dog aggressive dogs wouldn’t have issues because they wouldn’t be anywhere near my dog. I also make sure to follow house rules and instructions to the letter (and am strictly no shoes in any house ever) and keep my clients updated on how things are going with photos, videos, as well as update messages. All potential clients are encouraged to meet up with me before entrusting their pets to me, and if you have any interest in your dog having some off leash time with me in my backyard I would be more than happy to give you a tour.
