Amy was great. I got pictures that showed my fur babies were doing well. I will definitely call Amy again. And will share Rover with all my friends. Drop in visits worked great for my family. And very much less expensive than cat hotel.....🙂

Had Reagan check on our pups while we were going to be out of town for the afternoon. The meet & greet went well, even with our anxious girl, and we knew our pups were in great hands. Thank you Reagan!

About: ** Please Read - Drop-in services will be limited to the Sequim/Diamond Point area ** Mature, energetic, responsible, and absolutely devoted to animals — that’s me in a nutshell. I work a flexible M–F job in Sequim that allows me to provide consistent, reliable care throughout the week. Pets instantly pick up on my calm, kind energy, and I take pride in creating a safe, happy experience for every animal I meet. From daily routines to special quirks, I pay attention to the details that matter. Your pets deserve someone who truly cares, and I’m here to be that person. ** Please Read - Drop-in services will be limited to the Sequim/Diamond Point area ** I’m a mature, energetic early riser who loves starting the day with movement—running, walking, and soaking up as much fresh air as possible. I’d always choose time outdoors over being inside, and pets seem to love that about me. Even though I work a Monday–Friday job, my schedule is flexible enough for reliable mid‑day check‑ins, walks, and quality attention. Your pets get my full focus, great energy, and genuine care every time. You can feel completely at ease knowing that your pets and your home are in caring, reliable hands. About: Hi there! My name is Emma and I’d love to help take care of your pup/cat. I’ve had pets my whole life and absolutely love taking care of them. Your furbs (fur babies) will be treated like family and enjoy time getting out and about and playing. Also happy to come pet-sit if you prefer that as well. I’ve helped a few friends with training, more of the basics of a novice but enough to help improve their day to day with their pups. I have plenty of room for your pup in my apartment and a big enclosed dog park right next door and a large neighborhood for walks. I know the day to day life gets busy and would love to be a neighbor/friend you can lean on when things come up! Thanks for considering me. Hi! Here’s my schedule: I work remotely with a very flexible schedule to allow me to be able to work around pee-breaks, walks, and playtime. Your pets will be treated like my own: as family. In my home I keep tabs on play so everyone gets a break and their space is respected. In your home I’ll ensure to follow house rules and give your pet the love, attention, and space they prefer.

Kathy did amazing with her visits with our dogs. We will absolutely be using her again and again. I would recommend Kathy to anyone and everyone. We have felt unable to explore the area due to having dogs and she has given us the confidence and freedom to be able to take longer trips knowing our dogs are safe and taken care of. Thanks Kathy!!

I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or simply keeping them company. I believe communication is just as important as care, so I’m happy to send updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing. My goal is to provide reliable, thoughtful care so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I structure my weekly schedule to ensure I have ample time for pet care. About: I have been passionate about caring for animals since my first dog had 12 puppies and needed round the clock help feeding and caring for them all! As kids my 8 siblings and I would rescue any and all animals in need, wild or domestic. I have volunteered at multiple wildlife rescue shelters and always stop to help rescue a stray dog or cat. I work directly with a few local pet sitters to make sure your pets are cared for when you need it. I have experience working with all types of dogs/cats at a local veterinary hospital. I am well versed in dispensing medications, my own senior dog is epileptic and has daily meds and a special diet to accommodate. In our house- your beloved pets are family and are treated as such. We just try to be worthy of the love and joy our animals bring us! I’m home 24/7 as this is my job so I am generally always home. Sometimes my day may include leaving in the am/pm for short periods to care for drop in pets. I have a spacious house on 10 plus acres of property- multiple fenced in areas (inside and out) and tie out leads in non fenced grassy areas for supervised outdoor play. I am home 7 days a week as are my in laws who help take care of the property. My household is non smoking and I use only organic/pet friendly products in my yard. For in clients homes- I can do one or two visits a day depending on your needs. I am not currently able to do overnights in the clients home but can recommend another pet sitter (who is also a vet technician) who can .

About: I know pets aren’t one size fits all - whether your pet has a complicated routine or a simple one, is friends with everyone or needs time to warm up, I care for each animal as an individual to best meet their needs. For the last 6 years I have been the go-to sitter for my friends and acquaintances. I have sitting experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including seniors with medication and reactive dogs. When your pet is in my care, their safety and comfort is my top priority! I offer drop in visits and walks 7 days a week! I work from home full time M-F but my day wraps up at 3pm, giving me open afternoons and evenings to see your pet! While my weekday mornings are more limited I’m happy to discuss options. I am currently able to offer overnight stays at your home every other weekend. Please send me a message to confirm availability! I care for your pets as if they were my own - their safety and comfort is the most important thing. For this reason, I will limit your pets interactions with any animals outside of the home on walks unless otherwise specified by you.

About: I moved back to the USA 4 years ago after serving refugees in the Middle East full time for 7 years. All I wanted when I got back was a dog to love and cuddle!! I currently don’t have one of my own so I get my puppy cuddles from other peoples pets for now. I was raised with high maintenance animals and was always caring for friends pets while gone. Pro’s and con’s of choosing me below. PROs - Half my work schedule is “work from home." My hours can be flexible, this provides me ability to spend more time with your fur babies depending on advanced notice to schedule my work from home hours to be more physically present while pet sitting. (This can be discussed in more detail if you reach out). - I don’t smoke or drink - Very clean - Highly aware of safety & security - I adapt easily so if your pup has a weird schedule I’m ok with that. - Okay with the pets sleeping in the bed if they prefer it - Okay driving smaller dogs to a park for play - Unbelievable amount of patience. It takes a lot for something to bother me. - LOVE playing with dogs or choosing to cuddle in front of the TV. - LOVE LOVE LOVE old geriatric dogs. They tend to be high maintenance but I can’t handle the cuteness. 😍 CONS - I will not care for huskies or German shepherds. It’s a hard pass for me. - meet and greets are a must. Dogs with escape history, jumpers, or “love biters” are likely to be turned down. - Rover only allows me to select evening hours ending by 10pm. I can only provide services up to 7:30PM. - I can’t take the pups home with me 😭 My daily routine is dependent on how much notice I have to plan my “work from home” hours in my weekly schedule. Due to work from home hours, WiFi access is a must. If you have a pet that needs someone present 24/7 on a weekday, I would not be a good fit for you. Nor would accommodating potty breaks every 1-3 hours if it is not a weekend. Please don’t select “drop in visit” if you need me to stay all day but not overnight. Drop in visits are typically 1 hour or less. I don’t believe shouting at animals, using brute force or aggressive tone is helpful. And it’s not okay! For my safety and your pets safety, they will always be cared for with respect, compassion and gentleness. I carry a personal panic button connected to ADT. If something were to happen to me all I have to do is push it and the police are dispatched to my location immediately.

She was very attentive to our cat’s needs, noticing any change in her behavior and notifying us if she was concerned. Our cat has medical problems that require twice a day medications. Sara was gentle and caring. She gave us peace of mind that our cat was getting the best care with playtime in addition.

My pet is recovering from a pretty serious injury and surgery, so I was glad to find Chaselyn to be very knowledgeable and that she has a long veterinary history. She was comfortable dropping in and giving medication, checking his surgery site, and giving him a little company while I had to be out.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sequim. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
