“Barbara was great, she sent pictures while we were away, and I could tell she really cared. She answered all questions. Barbara's response was immediate, which is very nice when your doggie is somewhere else. Would book Barbara again. Dorrit Jensen”

“Our sitter Jan was marvelously accommodating!! Not only was she welcoming and considerate of all our dogs needs but was a genuinely sweet person. I could not recommend her more. Thank you Rover but mostly Jan!”

“Have been taking our dogs to Belinda for a few years now and will continue to in the future. Our dogs love her and are always exited to see her. We get regular updates and pics and our trips are always better knowing the dogs are in such good hands.”

“Lori and Gary were wonderful to work with. They helped us through our first Rover reservation and were friendly, welcoming, and attentive to both of our dogs. Their home was well set up for dog sitting and Cooper and Marge loved their time there. We will be back again, for sure!”

“Great experience with Reagan. Howard was well taken care of, abs Reagan was very flexible with pickup (which was needed as I had a mechanical issue when I was supposed to pick him). I've already booked another stay.”

“Stephenye watched Lola for a week and she took such great care of her. She sent daily updates with videos and pictures. Stephenye was very sweet about my anxiety around leaving Lola, and reassured me. I could tell Lola was very relaxed around her at the meet and greet. She also has two extremely sweet dogs who got along very well with Lola. Highly recommend her services!!”

“Very pleased with Jennifer, once again! We have two dogs - one can be incredibly challenging with separation anxiety, reactivity, etc. Jennifer handles her flawlessly and the dogs come back to us happy as ever. 5 star, 10/10, A++”

“Kim was awesome!! She took great care of Jasmine and sent me pictures daily & was in constant communication. I could tell Jasmine was having a great time and getting a lot of love.”

“Dawn was a fabulous pet sitter for our 2 year old dachshund named Molly. Normally Molly is shy and timid, but she took to Dawn right away. We really enjoyed our 35th wedding anniversary because we knew Molly was safe and content. I would highly recommend Dawn! Craig and Sue Lindahl”

“We had an amazing experience with Cynthia! She took care of Milo for two days and treated him like her own. She kept us updated, made sure he was comfortable, and gave him lots of attention and care. It was clear that Milo was happy and well cared for the entire time. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

“Jennifer was really kind and upfront about caring for my dogs who have some anxiety. She has such knowledge and skill she could manage them with aplomb and it allows me to feel comfortable leaving them with her.”

“Debra is so kind and caring for our energetic and loving dog Molly! She was so easy to communicate with and sent frequent updates. Molly had plenty of room and a great stay!”

“Andrea and family were fantastic. Our dog Stu seemed to love being there as soon as he arrived and we had no concerns about leaving him. They took him on a big adventure walk to a beach and musts have given him a bath as he came back soft and smelling cleaner then ever. Would definitely send Stu back there if we need a petsitter again!”

“Elizabeth and her family were wonderful. Good and clear communication. Their 2 dogs were sweet and got along well with our Finley. When we picked him up, he was not stressed at all, in fact he seemed to have had a great time! We will utilize Elizabeth again when we are in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Morgan is a wonderful sitter with the sweetest family. She was communicative and happily accommodated my last minute request. My fur-baby was happy and well taken care of during my absence. 10/10 would book again!”

“Luke, my senior rescue dog, just spent the weekend with Matt and Sander. My dog is shy and still recovering from the trauma of being lost and found when I adopted him in January. This was his first experience with a dog sitter, and he seemed to do very well. Matt and Sander were sensitive and attentive to Luke's needs, and it looked like Luke was quite comfortable with this family and their dog. So I have booked another stay.”

Jennifer was very patient and accommodating with jelly and Luna. She took them in with a last minute booking and was very communicative through the whole process. My dogs can be a handful especially in a new spot, but she was very kind and understanding and took great care of them. I appreciate to have found her for a day long boarding. Thanks Jennifer.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
