About: *I am only accepting doggies up to 40 lbs right now. I prefer a meet and greet before a first time stay… this is made easier with several days notice before request dates please. All so I can provide the best care for your loved one!* Located in Agnew between Port Angeles and Sequim I have pet sat for quite a few dogs over the years. I am comfortable with young and old, some behavior challenges, medication and am open to continuing training that is in progress. We can start with a morning walk. Later, an afternoon walk as I love to walk. I also have a fenced yard area if they’d like to hang outside. I work from home am happy to care for and provide ample company for your doggie. I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with access to the discovery trail as well as a large field for play and walks. I believe in positive reinforcement and redirecting unwanted behaviors.

For consideration, our 3 doggies are very friendly, do not resource guard, do not jump on people and are not chewers or destructive. We left them 36 hours during a family trip at Deception Pass. Sarah is a professional dog watcher; day care and overnight, with a fenced yard for the dogs to wander. We received multiple photos of our 3 doggies together and with other dogs who were in her care, indoors and out. Our pups had tails wagging when we arrived to pick them up. I would use Sarah again if I am in the area needing a safe, friendly place for our pups.”

If you can tire out a border collie, you’re doing something right and Belinda absolutely delivered! Maya came home happy and happily worn out. I accidentally drove away with her bed still in my car, and Belinda didn’t skip a beat…….she found Maya an orthopedic bed to use without a fuss. Lovely, caring, and clearly brilliant with dogs. Highly recommend.
Jennifer really went above and beyond to make sure that my dog felt comfortable at her home. She's got beautiful property with lots of room for dogs to run around, and was able to adapt plans around dog comfort to make sure that everyone settled in and was able to explore the space appropriately. She's able to navigate multiple dog interactions with calm and aplomb, making sure that everyone gets both lots of attention and the care and space they need. She's warm and friendly, and we'll definitely rebook if we're in her area in the future!
Patrick is a sweetheart and very special but he does not talk. He hasn't given me his opinion. He is easy going and gets along well in almost any situation. I expect he was a little confused at being dropped off with a stranger but her home situation seemed ideal and she took him for walks so I'm guessing he had a good time with Barbara. I would certainly take him to Barbara again when/ if I have the need for someone to care for him.
