“Barbara is the perfect sweetheart to leave your pup with. Uly felt so at home with her …immediately! Her back yard is divine for zoomies and she even took Uly different places for walks… like a surprise daily field trip!! He was such a happy kid we we picked him up. Barbara’s a gem you can trust :) with your pup!”

“Belinda is simply the best! We’ve trusted her with her pup several times now—he’s always happy to see her, we get great updates, she’s super flexible. The best experience we’ve had on Rover.”

“This worked out great for our trip to Victoria! Louann's home is just minutes to the ferry dock so we wouldn't have to rush back home after a long drive late into the evening to pick our pup up in our hometown. Her yard is nicely fenced, tidy, with plenty of exploring to do for our curious and mischievous pup. We got him back he was like it was no big deal seeing us - didn't seem to miss us - so that is a big win!”

“Very pleased with Jennifer, once again! We have two dogs - one can be incredibly challenging with separation anxiety, reactivity, etc. Jennifer handles her flawlessly and the dogs come back to us happy as ever. 5 star, 10/10, A++”

“Stephenye watched Lola for a week and she took such great care of her. She sent daily updates with videos and pictures. Stephenye was very sweet about my anxiety around leaving Lola, and reassured me. I could tell Lola was very relaxed around her at the meet and greet. She also has two extremely sweet dogs who got along very well with Lola. Highly recommend her services!!”

“There simply are not enough words in the English language to describe the level of my gratitude for Linda & Bill! My dog is my world and they treat him like royalty!!! These are the kindest, most competent and caring people that you'll ever find. When I say that I trust them with my dog, that's the same (for me) as saying that I trust them with my life.”

“Cynthia did a great job watching Sparky. She took him the dog park nearby where Sparky and her dog played and had a great time. They also ran around and played a lot in her fenced backyard. She also sent a lot of videos of Sparky, which was nice.”

“Very thankful for Kimberly! She sent photos every day and I can tell my girls had a blast. Kimberly was extremely accommodating and took extra steps to make sure I was comfortable (this was my first time boarding). Highly recommend!!”

“Debra is a lovely person and has done a great job of caring for my dog twice. I will use her again in the future. She tries to limit the number of dogs at one time to just mine or one other that is appreciated (a different dog sitter had many dogs and mine returned with some bad habits). Thanks Debra and see you soon.”

“Allison watched our doggo while we hiked the Hoh River trail - no dogs allowed. She was fantastic! Great communication with us and a nice welcoming place for our fur buddy to stay - toys, walks, and cuddles.”

About: Hi there! My name is Emma and I’d love to help take care of your pup/cat. I’ve had pets my whole life and absolutely love taking care of them. Your furbs (fur babies) will be treated like family and enjoy time getting out and about and playing. Also happy to come pet-sit if you prefer that as well. I’ve helped a few friends with training, more of the basics of a novice but enough to help improve their day to day with their pups. I have plenty of room for your pup in my apartment and a big enclosed dog park right next door and a large neighborhood for walks. I know the day to day life gets busy and would love to be a neighbor/friend you can lean on when things come up! Thanks for considering me. Hi! Here’s my schedule: I work remotely with a very flexible schedule to allow me to be able to work around pee-breaks, walks, and playtime. Your pets will be treated like my own: as family. In my home I keep tabs on play so everyone gets a break and their space is respected. In your home I’ll ensure to follow house rules and give your pet the love, attention, and space they prefer.
“Andrea and family were fantastic. Our dog Stu seemed to love being there as soon as he arrived and we had no concerns about leaving him. They took him on a big adventure walk to a beach and musts have given him a bath as he came back soft and smelling cleaner then ever. Would definitely send Stu back there if we need a petsitter again!”

About: Hi, I’m Liz! I’m a mom of two, lifelong animal lover, and proud dog owner myself. We have a large fenced yard and a calm, home-based lifestyle, so your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, so I treat every dog like part of our family—whether that means active play, walks, or just a cozy place to relax. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m happy to follow any specific routines or needs to make their stay feel like home. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I’m home most of the day with my kids. I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, playtime, and walks throughout the day. Mornings and evenings are great for outdoor time, and I keep a calm, structured environment during rest periods. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to each dog’s needs, whether they require more activity, companionship, or a quieter space to relax. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, dogs have access to a secure, fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and exercise, along with a clean, calm indoor space for rest. I supervise interactions closely and ensure all dogs are a good fit before accepting bookings. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions.
“Finding the right caretaker for my girl Rosie - who can be very shy and nervous around new places and spaces, and experience stress while we are apart. I wanted to ensure she would be with the best caretaker, and this was particularly important as I planned to be away for an extended period over the holidays. Thankfully, I came across Heather’s reviews and was able to connect with them before boarding Rosie. This provided me with a sense of relief and assurance to know she would be in a loving home. Rosie experienced an exceptional level of care and love and grew comfortable and content under Heather’s care. From daily walks and adventures to routine brushing, and homemade broth; Rosie was such a happy girl! Her sweet, loving, and active personality got to shine including her beautiful coat! Beyond grateful I had connected with Heather - I highly recommend her services. We will certainly be repeat customers.”

“Deidre is the best! She took care of our two very energetic dogs for four days and it went great! Deidre is an excellent communicator and a wonderful dog whisperer. We’ll definitely be asking for her to care for the dogs again.”

“Great, and easy to book. Communicates how ever much you want with updates. My dog seemed happy and playful, definitely had a good time. Will definitely book again when needed.”

About: *I am only accepting doggies up to 40 lbs right now. I prefer a meet and greet before a first time stay. Meet and greets last about 30 minutes. We will go for a short walk to get acquainted. I find this makes a big difference in your loved one feeling more comfortable for their stay and helps me provide the best care possible.* Located in Agnew between Port Angeles and Sequim I have pet sat for quite a few dogs over the years. I am comfortable with young and old. Your loved one will go on at least one 35 minute walk per day with me. It's helpful if you provide the schedule your fur baby is used to (feed and walk times) and I'll do my best to accommodate them. I am home most hours of the day (max I'm away is 3). I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with access to the discovery trail as well as a large field for play and walks. I believe in positive reinforcement and redirecting unwanted behaviors.
“Damajah was a wonderful and kind pet sitter. She definitely had our dog's best interest in mind. She met us at the dog park first so we could introduce him to her dog and make sure they got along. Damajah was helpful with questions and sent us several photos and videos during his stay so we knew he was doing well and in good hands.”

Jennifer is an amazing dog host! She is very responsive and updated us with pictures our dogs entire stay. Our dog sam is very active dog with lots of energy and Jennifer made sure to to wear him out with plenty of walks and fetch sessions. He came home a clean and tired pup. Her property is also very dog friendly with a big yard and fetched in area

Arlo had a great time staying with Belinda. I had mentioned that he loved playing ball in the afternoon, and Belinda made sure that he had plenty of time playing ball. Belinda sent us photos each day, assuring us that Arlo was enjoying his stay and eating his meals. We will recommend Belinda to all of our friends with dogs.

Kyle was amazing! Just before my trip my dog Finn developed some medical issues requiring extra care and in fact he developed some further issues before I returned. Kyle took excellent care of my boy and dealt with everything in a loving, caring way. His knowledge about dogs was apparent from the moment we met. Best dog sitter ever!!
Patrick is a sweetheart and very special but he does not talk. He hasn't given me his opinion. He is easy going and gets along well in almost any situation. I expect he was a little confused at being dropped off with a stranger but her home situation seemed ideal and she took him for walks so I'm guessing he had a good time with Barbara. I would certainly take him to Barbara again when/ if I have the need for someone to care for him.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
