Safety, trust & environment

I have a spacious house on 10 plus acres of property- multiple fenced in areas (inside and out) and tie out leads in non fenced grassy areas for supervised outdoor play. I am home 7 days a week as are my in laws who help take care of the property. My household is non smoking and I use only organic/pet friendly products in my yard. For in clients homes- I can do one or two visits a day depending on your needs. I am not currently able to do overnights in the clients home but can recommend another pet sitter (who is also a vet technician) who can .

Information Jennifer P. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or requirements, meds, treats , comfort items. Is your pet scared of anything in particular or in need of reassurance or special items during specific events (fireworks?) are they responsive or reactive to specific things?

A typical day

My day includes waking up early to go out with the pups out to potty . Then breakfast for early eaters and walks for those that need it followed by more playtime. I then let them settle where they are comfortable in any one of my fenced in areas inside the house or on my spacious fenced in back patio. I usually encourage potty breaks at least once an hour if they don’t exhibit a need to do so more frequently. We have plenty of toys and chewing toys to distract anxious pups. I have an enclosed , spacious indoor kennel that works well for small, medium or large dogs. If I have multiple dogs from different families I can easily house them inside in separate gated areas to eliminate any reactivity.

Pet care experience

I have been passionate about caring for animals since my first dog had 12 puppies and needed round the clock help feeding and caring for them all! As kids my 8 siblings and I would rescue any and all animals in need, wild or domestic. I have volunteered at multiple wildlife rescue shelters and always stop to help rescue a stray dog or cat. I work directly with a few local pet sitters to make sure your pets are cared for when you need it. I have experience working with all types of dogs/cats at a local veterinary hospital. I am well versed in dispensing medications, my own senior dog is epileptic and has daily meds and a special diet to accommodate. In our house- your beloved pets are family and are treated as such. We just try to be worthy of the love and joy our animals bring us!

Very happy with our experience here, and our dogs loved it. The setting is serene and very well set up and our pups were calm and happy when we picked up.

Jennifer was so sweet and accommodating to our Kodybear! And so flexible, which was really helpful for us and what we needed to do. Very easy communication, her place is made for all kinds of dogs, lots of space in and outdoors, tons of toys, baby gates, blankets, beds.. I know he had a great time. :) She even fed him when we realized we would be a bit late for his dinner time. Too bad we’ll be moving, otherwise we’d definitely book her again! Thank you! :)

Dilly was so well cared for while we were away. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was in loving and capable hands. I received regular updates and photos, which made the whole experience even better. Dilly came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. I would absolutely recommend and look forward to booking again with Jennifer.
