About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have had rescue dogs and cats most of my life. My current furry children are Roscoe, a 13-lb terrier mix, and Onyx, my sweet senior cat—both rescues with big personalities. I’ve been pet sitting for friends and family for years, and I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and fostered, so I’m especially comfortable with rescue pets who might need a little extra patience and care. I only take a limited number of pets at once so I can give each one the attention and care they deserve. I live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood that’s great for walks, and I always keep dogs leashed unless we’re in the secure yard. I’m very mindful of introductions with my own pets—Roscoe is friendly and used to sharing his space, and my senior cat Onyx knows how to keep to herself. About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, growing up surrounded by pets and caring for them every day. They’ve always been a big part of my life, and my passion for animals has only grown over the years. Taking care of pets comes naturally to me, and it’s something I truly enjoy. Being a dog sitter would be the perfect job because it allows me to do what I love most — caring for and connecting with animals. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I make sure to schedule regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions to keep the dogs happy and healthy. I also set aside time for grooming and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I follow the pet’s routine closely, whether in my home or the client’s. I provide regular feeding, walks, and playtime to keep them comfortable and happy. About: I have been watching animals for friends and family since I was a kid. I thoroughly enjoy checking in on animals and getting to know them. I am pretty flexible, but I can play with your dog/cat, take them on a walk, administer medicine as needed, feed them, etc. I am available mornings and afternoons during the week. I will keep any key/code provided for entry safe, and I will take off my shoes as I come inside! I will also of course clean up any messes left by the pet as best as I can. I will respect your home as my own!

About: I've had dogs just about my entire life (since I was 2), including a variety of breeds, sizes and personalities. I've handled dogs who may try to escape, dogs who eat everything in sight — and better behaved ones, too. :) I also personally have an elderly cat and two Guinea pigs in addition to my own dog (a "shelter special" pit mix). I've also pet sit for fish and rabbits before. I have a dog, cat and two Guinea pigs and home who need to be cared for at least twice per day, so animal care is part of my normal routine. I'm happy to add your pet to the mix as needed. My schedule can be pretty flexible. I've had a dog run away (from a pet sitter, ironically, when I was on the West Coast). It was a nightmare, and I don't want anyone to ever go through that. (Our dog was found, safe, after 9 days on the run.). Because I know exactly how awful that is, I'm extra super careful with doors, leashes, cars, collars, etc.

I have volunteered at an animal shelter, where I cared for cats and walked puppies and dogs that required special training. I am athletic and so can go on runs or hikes with your dog if he or she is especially active. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I’m currently working part-time so I have a ton of availability and flexibility. I am usually not available on Tuesdays (all day) and Sunday afternoons. My cat is quite sensitive and shy, so I am familiar with how to deal with any dogs and cats who are hesitant towards new people.

About: Shortly after starting to work in animal sheltering in 2009, dear friends asked if I would walk/sit for their Newfoundland puppy while they were on vacation.
