About: I have taken care of my own dog since I was young, and since her passing I have routinely dogsit for friends and family. My childhood right-paw-man was a Beagle mix, and so I love to handle hounds who sniff first & think later (as well as distract them with Pupperoni…). I took care of her in her old age, so I have some experience in dropping medicine on the floor and pretending it’s a delectable morsel so dogs devour it! I also have handled plenty of bark-happy dogs, and like to bring treats on all my walks to incentivize more calmer adventures. I am currently in a partly asynchronous grad school program, and I’d love to spend my very flexible time taking healthy (and frequent) breaks from studying to care for your pet! I’m excited to adapt to fur-parents’ homes and needs! I’m comfortable crating pets, supervising outdoor time in fenced yards, and being attentive to your pets’ body language while inside their home.

About: I’m a professional dog groomer and currently manage a grooming salon located inside a veterinary clinic. I’ve been working in the veterinary and pet-care world for about 3 years, and I absolutely love being surrounded by animals every day! Working with pets has been incredibly rewarding for me. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, making them feel safe and comfortable, and helping them live happy, healthy lives. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be stressful, so I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I am currently working part time at the veterinary clinic so I will be able to spend the afternoons with the pups/kitties. Sometimes (and if you feel comfortable of course) I could bring them to work with me since there is plenty of space and toys (and they get all of the attention and love) here at the clinic! I have two kitties who are used to interact with other animals, I have a fenced patio so you can be sure they will always be secure and safe. I am also willing to stay overnight at your home if you think your furry baby will be more comfortable in their own space.

“Absolutely THRILLED with the excellent care given to our orange tabby by Eva over the Thanksgiving holiday. We found Eva via Rover and were especially drawn to her because of her profile photo with her own kitty. (Seems that most Rover caregivers are focused on dogs. Eva takes care of dogs, too!) We had a meet and greet with Eva along with a second advance meeting to turn over the key. In both pre-visits, Eva was punctual and professional, as well as warm and personable. She is also conscientious and respectful. For example, although we didn't ask her to do so, she removed her shoes at the front door. She was careful approaching our cat, allowing him to meet her on his terms. Eva took all of our instructions and asked great questions so we were all on the same page. She even asked for a sweeper to clean up the kitty litter. In addition, we asked Eva to bring in our mail and newspapers. She left the papers carefully by the door and the mail in a neat pile on the counter. She had washed the bowls and utensils and everything was so tidy when we returned. We had great communication with Eva during the visit, and we really like Rover's check-in/check-out procedures and photos. All of this is to give Eva high praise and big thanks and kudos for exceptional service. We would hire Eva again without hesitation. She is terrific!”

About: I am a huuuugee animal fan. I love fur-babies of all sizes and temperaments. I can accommodate almost any sort of schedule and type of boarding; I am pretty flexible. I do everything possible with my baby girl, Rue - a golden doodle of my own whose biggest flaw is that she wants to be everyone's friend, including the cats she grew up with (so I’m sure she'll get along with your pup or cat just great). I have spent some time working in a vet hospital and in a wildlife rescue as well as personal sitting gigs for friends and family - you can trust my care with your pup! I have a condo that can accommodate dogs of all sizes AND everything is doggy-proof. My complex has a very large grassy courtyard and a lake trail less than half a mile away. I am a fairly active individual and will have no problem getting your pup out and playing outdoors or long trail adventures if that’s what they need! I currently work from home and the schedule is flexible - so I am available throughout the day. For visits/walks only, I can accommodate she what your pup needs depending on the drive to get there. 7 days a week In previous pet care jobs, I’ve usually stayed overnight with the pups. I can spend time with them, enriching them with play time or training. I have never had a cause for a health or safety concern in the 6 years I have pet sit and I plan on keeping that intact. My experience in a vet office gives me the knowledge or medication administration if needed, what a true emergency may look like, and how to triage an emergency if one should arise.
