“Elizabeth (Lizzie) did a fantastic job watching our kitty. She was communicative and very easy to work with. She provided him with great care and send us great photos. I highly recommend using her as your pet sitter”

“Second time hiring her. She was able to accommodate extra visits on short notice and a day early, since one kitty got sick right before my trip. She got all the kitties to warm at least a little to her, including the scaredy cat. Would hire a third time.”

FENCED yard in safe neighborhood, fun play time with my extremely sweet Golden Retriever. I’ll care for them as if they were my own. My golden has grown up around cats and other dogs and has never had any issues. He’s been around my mom’s Rover charges very often, and loves playing with dogs of all sizes.
“Logan was fantastic! Scout absolutely loved her and she gave him lots of love and TLC and totally wore him out playing ball while we were gone. At one of the visits, the electricity was out in the neighborhood so the garage door would not open. She immediately contacted us and waited until she heard back from us to leave for her job. We really appreciated all her help and give her our highest recommendation. She’s the best!!!”
About: I have been taking care of dogs for 13 years since I got my first dog. I have 2 now, and spent years as a foster for Wags to Riches pet rescue. I hope to expand to local walks on lunch breaks or after work on weekdays in the future! I have a fenced in back yard for pups to play. “We had a change of plans and needed a sitter; Kamren helped us out and was able to get my shy kitty to warm up to him too! He sent me plenty of pictures showing how my cats were doing and he was good at responding back. Would definitely have him watch my babies next time we need a sitter!”

About: “I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. I’ve always been around them and loved taking care of them when family and friends have asked! I work part time at the moment so I have extra time on my hands to spend time with furry friends! I’m always available with a couple days notice! I have 4 dogs of my own all trained super well! They are all crate and potty trained. I have a fenced in back yard so playing outside is a breeze
About: I’ve had pets all my growing years, cats and dogs. I fostered a lovely dog in 2019, then adopted a pup early 2020. Trained and loved by myself ❤️ my partner and I adopted another pup in 2022, Ginny, and they are the best pair! I love all pets and will take care of yours like my own. I am currently not working so have a pretty open schedule! Week days during work hours are best, but am also available during the evenings and weekends. I have a condo that allows pets with a fenced-in yard, and also love to run and explore outside. So if you like your pet to exercise and adventure, I can safely provide that. Otherwise, am glad to entertain and take care of them in your home.
“Amanda was fantastic while we were away for 4 days! She visited daily to provide food, fresh water, and clean the litter box, ensuring everything was well taken care of. Her detailed updates and excellent photos kept me stress-free. Amanda’s communication and dedication were outstanding, and I highly recommend her! Thank you, Amanda!”

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. Other than having our own pets, my family provided a safe place to foster pets as they awaited their forever homes. I love going on walks, playing in the yard and spending time with pets to make them feel loved. I have never met an animal that didn’t become a new best friend. I’ve been pet-sitting, house-sitting and dog walking since I was 14 years old, and I know how important it is to feel like you have the best possible care for your furry friends while you’re away. I am currently a stay-at-home mom to a little boy that LOVES animals and loves to be outdoors, we have ample time to spend with your animals and make them feel loved while you’re away from home. My main goal as an animal caretaker is to make sure your pets are as safe as possible. I am a rule follower and love when people leave me clear directions.
About: I’ve relied on Rover so many times… so I’m looking to help other pet owners who need help caring for their pet! Raising pets takes a village too! Let me help provide love and care while you’re busy or unavailable. I work remotely and have a fairly flexible schedule with notice. My daily schedule varies but I have windows of availability throughout the entire day. I have a dog who I’ve previously had to take to a dog park and walk multiple times a day due to living in an apartment complex and now we have an enclosed backyard so I’m familiar with caring for a pet in various environments. Whatever your dog needs, I can provide. I have common sense and use good judgement.

“Maddie made sure Benji was cared for a loved! She went far beyond maintaining my dog and she made his feel at home. This is usually challenging because my dog is more sensitive than usual to my absence. Hope to work with Maddie again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of many different types of dogs in high school and have 3 of my own. I have worked with small to large dogs and am very friendly. I am happy to watch them, feed them, bathe them, play with them and take them on walks! I am home from college for the summer and have a lot of time during the week to watch your pups! I am saving money to pay for tuition and have a pretty open schedule. Let me know your need and I am sure we can work something out! I am happy to watch dogs at the clients house. I have three dogs of my own at my house and would not be able to take more on at my own home. I am very friendly and would feed them, take them on walks, give many potty breaks and bathe if needed.
About: My grandparents raised me with dogs my whole life, and got me my first dog Peanut who is now my senior best buddy who requires special care. I've bathed dogs for them since I can remember, and depending on the dog can clip their nails as well. I also have raised puppies with special medical problems to puppies with a little too much energy (lol). I would love to help you care for your pets in any possible way! Currently I work nightshifts from 8pm-2am, so I'm available during the day from 12:30 pm-5-30pm. Thursdays and Fridays my availability is more flexible so we can work that out per person. Right now I live at home with my 4 dogs, 3 cats, and a handful of ferrel cats that hang around the place to be fed. I wouldn't be able to bring animals to my home at the moment because one of our dogs is super old and anxious so we try to keep the environment calm. Caring for pets in clients homes would be making sure their animals get enough play time and excercise depending on the animal, making sure they have potty time and are fed and have fresh water. I can give your dogs baths as well if they need it and you arent capable!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
