“Hayden was amazing! It was clear she cared about our kitties. She followed our instructions and we enjoyed meeting her before she accepted to take care of our kitties. We appreciated the pictures she shared with us to let us know they were okay. We had been hesitant to try Rover and decided to take a chance. Hayden's services put us at ease. We will be requesting her again in the future. Thank you so much Hayden!”

About: I grew up with a St. Bernard and two papillons - so saying I understand both big and small dogs is an understatement. I do have to agree the small ones can have the biggest attitudes, however. Love dogs and love spending time with them! I work serving night shifts so I am available most days! And only gone at night for about 5 hours. Can stay at house or just do drop ins. I used to babysit so I am comfortable taking care of homes while watching over others. I will keep everything tidy and make sure everyone is taken care of!
“Ysobel has been a very attentive and communicative sitter for my dog. My pup has been struggling with medical issues and as a result isn't the easiest to care for but Ysobel has been great :).”

“Genna is amazing. She has looked after our cat multiple times now and is dependable, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Our cat immediately took to her. She keeps us updated daily and posts plenty of pics. We are grateful for Genna!”

“Laura did an awesome job taking care of my kitty, Cantaloupe. She was always there on time, sent wonderful pictures and gave him so much love and attention. I would definitely recommend hiring Laura as your pet sitter.”
“Melissa took excellent care of my babies. I enjoyed my weekend trip worry-free with her looking after them. She wrote great reports for each visit and took lots of pictures for me. I would book with her again! Thanks!”

About: I’ve only been doing this for three years but I do have experience with puppies (both calm and hyperactive) and senior dogs who require medications. I also am fine with pitbulls. I have a job that is typically 6 hrs long. I will get assigned double shifts which is 11 hours on Sundays. I also am available to do other kinds of pet sitting like aquatic and reptilian if needed. For my clients I usually play and sit with them depending on if they feel playful. I walk them once a day but if you’d like me to take them out multiple times a day that’s great too! I pick up poop everyday or every other day. I also have aquatic pets (I know this service is for dogs but I thought I’d throw that in there) so if you need feedings, cleanings, or water changes I can do that too!
“Shannon was wonderful! She took care of our boys’ needs and, based on photos she shared with us, they loved her visits! Knowing they were well taken care of made our vacation away so much more relaxing.”

“David has been amazing with my little geriatric River. I was terrified to leave him for five weeks but David jumped right in and played with him, walked him, gave him his medicine and food. All the pictures showed River having fun playing with his toys and going for walks. I’m soo thankful and grateful for his loving care of my beloved. I will use him again and highly recommend him.”

About: I have a few friends who I have house sat for in the past and have been asked to do it again many times. I have 2 dogs my self and I have done a lot of dog walking in the past. I currently work part time so I usually only work 4 or 6 hour shifts I am usually off Wednesday and Thursdays so a lot of flexibility there. I also have church on Sunday mornings. I walk my dog every day and give him but rubs. He has a big yard to play in with our other dog so they have something to do.
About: Please don’t allow my reduced star rating to deter you from booking with me! I unfortunately took on a couple jobs that I shouldn’t have with dogs with behavior issues and the owners ended up blaming me although I provided the best care possible. :( I am now more diligent in asking the necessary questions before accepting a job. I do this because I love animals and also to earn very much needed extra income for my family of 8. I have had pets all my life including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, hamsters, frogs, and turtles. I also grew up in a small farm town for a good part of my childhood and was around a lot of farm animals. I currently have 1 dog of my own who is friendly and playful, as well as kids who can help keep your fur babies active and having fun. We live in a quiet neighborhood perfect for walks. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can work with your needs. I have mostly open availability on the weekends and also for boarding or overnight care. I have a yard with room to run, although it isn’t fenced, we do have an outdoor kennel area and a dog run line. I’m also able to crate pets inside if needed. I can also take dogs for walks around our quiet, private neighborhood, or to the dog park for more room to run.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child, my mother and I had ran a rescue up until four years ago and even then we still took in animals to help Fuzzball animal rescue, I love taking care of animals and have my entire life from rescues to my own animals! I’m currently looking for a part time job so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups, and kitties. I enter college in the fall and know my schedule will still allow for me to take care of animals so if you are looking for maybe even a permanent dog walker, pet sitter or anything I am available! My house has always had animals, from cats, ferrets, Guinea pigs, turtles, chickens, cows, dogs, chinchillas, and at once our most amount of rescues we had was 104 Guinea pigs, and getting them adopted was my favorite part, to see them all go to loving homes.
About: I have previous vet clinic experience! I am knowledgeable in give animals of any kind medications as needed and I am comfortable administering emergency meds when need. I’m currently going to WWU to get my biology degree. So while my schedule is pretty open I do have at least one class I need to be at every week day. I’m open to talking more about my availability when you send in a request. I have done a lot of pet sitting in clients homes previous to getting on rover. I have worked with many different security systems in other peoples home that I am comfortable with what ever the owner has as long as they are comfortable with it and trust it.
About: I offer in-home pet sitting and will treat your pet like you do, with love and kindness, not fear and intolerance. Servicing the Tri-Cities, Washington area. I am dependable, and honest and will keep your home as secure and clean as you left it. I take care of pets of shapes and sizes, including hobby ranches and farms, and exotics such as reptiles, fish, and birds. I currently have a hybrid work schedule with flexible hours to provide your pet with the service you hire me to provide for your pet As I provide in-home care only, I follow the routines and schedules you have in place, in the areas you deem appropriate for your pet. I have a flexible schedule and set my own hours for my day job nor do I require my own pets to stay with me during your requested services. I only provide in-home care, so whatever safety measures that the client has in their own home I follow to the letter as it's already the pet's routine.

About: I have helped with cats since I was young, my siblings and I used to tame the cats at my grandmas house. My parents dog is 10 and I did all her training, just the basics, we got her when I was 10 but I took her for walks, got her to walk on a leash without pulling me. Currently I have a 3 almost 4 year old dog who is my best friend, I have trained him with more tricks, shake, lay down, etc. I work part time, and have Fridays and Saturdays officially off. My schedule is very open for caring for others pets, my availability is more in the morning or lat in the evening. I can travel to you to care for your pet, I am willing to walk them or give them any in home care they may need.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Kennewick
I had a great experience with Courtney! I have a 9-week-old puppy, so I was naturally nervous about leaving him, but she did an amazing job. She was patient, caring, and made sure he was well taken care of during her visit. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. I really appreciated her reliability and the care she showed for my puppy. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pet!

We have been incredibly lucky to have such an amazing dog sitter! Daisy has cared for our pups for over a year and she is consistently reliable—always on time, and often even early—which gives me total peace of mind. More importantly, she is so attentive and genuinely caring with my pups. They absolutely adore her, and it’s clear she treats them like her own. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pets, but she exceeds expectations every single time. I can’t recommend her enough!

Cesilia was great with Loki & Raider! When Cesilia came by for the meet & greet, the dogs seemed to like her right away. Loki enjoyed some playtime with his new stuffy during the drop ins. Raider is always shy around new people, but I think she will warm up to Cesilia with a few more drop ins and upcoming housesitting.

I love how Sierra takes great care of my babies when we're gone. I never have to worry about them when we're on vacation. She also follows all of my requests and she goes the extra mile by playing with them and loving on them. I know they are very excited to see her and that helps them not miss us. I highly recommend Sierra for all your pet needs. I will definitely use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
