I am pretty available at the moment, as long as I have time to get my own dogs out to walk and play. My husband and I are fairly new to the area so I haven’t done Rover services out here yet, I did offer them before in the Portland area. I am an active person, so dog walking is definitely something that I would enjoy doing more of and I love meeting new animals and people- If hanging out with your cat is what you are looking for, I am happy to do that as well.

It is important to know your dogs behavior ahead of time, do they have any fears or anxiety. How are they on a leash, how are they with other dogs, cats, children.
Une journée type
Depending on what your pet is up for, I will take them on long or short walks around the neighborhood. My day consists of a 3 mile+ walk and stopping in the park for a little ball time with my dogs then playing fetch later on in the late afternoon/ early evening. If your dog is familiar with the same activities then I am happy to do the same for them. If they are not requiring a dog walk then I will find other ways to bond and play with them.

I grew up with rescue dogs and cats and have had animals my entire life. I have also taken care of other animals for the past 15 years. I have worked with all types of breeds, from small Terriers & Pomeranians to Malamutes & Newfoundlands- some with more aggressive and reserved personalities. I have a calm but strong demeanor that animals are drawn to. Currently we have an Australian Shepherd named Buddy and an orange tabby named Phin.

Laura and her husband are amazing! They always take great care of my five dogs when I go out of town. I am so thankful for them!
Laura did an awesome job taking care of my kitty, Cantaloupe. She was always there on time, sent wonderful pictures and gave him so much love and attention. I would definitely recommend hiring Laura as your pet sitter.
Laura is amazing, I had another Rover fall through right before a trip and Laura responded immediately and was fantastic all the way though! Pretty sure she’s the best there is!! A+++ communication and care.
