“Absolutely amazing care for my dog Pluto! Constant updates helped me also feel comfortable with my dog in their care! Great job! I will definitely come back when I need someone to care for my sweet Pluto!”

“Kim was absolutely amazing!!! So welcoming , friendly and professional. She watched our husky for just over a week while we were out of the country. Kim sent several updates and pictures throughout the stay and took fantastic care of Niko! Niko had such a fun time playing with other dogs and was exhausted when we took him home. We will absolutely rebook and would highly recommend Kim to anyone! We had zero worries while Niko was with her.”

“Terry and Fernanda watched our 4-month old puppy over the holidays -- his first time with boarding while we went on a trip. Our dog was happy, calm, and well-exercised when we returned (no mean feat for this shepherd mix pup)! We especially enjoyed seeing videos of him playing and are so glad he had a great time socializing with the other dogs. Terry and Fernanda love dogs, and it's evident by the way they take such good care of them!”

“Jaelyn took very good care of my dog! I was gone for 10 days. She gave me text updates and sent pictures. My dog loved her dog, Nova. She has a nice backyard the dogs can play with each other in. They played together well and were sad to leave each other! Jaelyn has a calming presence which is exactly what my dog needs! I recommend her services :).”

“We love Janet. We know our little baby is safe and loved when we have to leave. Janet keeps contact with us all the time to let us know how is our baby doing. We also receive photographs and videos all the time. Thanks Janet. Luma, Bruce & Lola Lloyd”

“Very kind and attentive. She asked lots of questions to make sure she understood and met my dog’s needs. She also sent plenty of pictures and kept me updated throughout the stay. I really appreciated the communication and care she provided. Honestly, I think my dogs received even more attention and love than they get at home! 😂”
“On our second time booking with Enrique, Athena remembered how well she liked it there. She cried to get off the car and went straight into the house like it was her second home. It made us feel good that she was happy to come back. We will book again soon, for sure!!”

“Brooke did amazing with Joey. We set up a meeting beforehand to let the dogs meet, and they all got along swell. She left me pictures and updates on how Joey was doing. My dog looked happy and healthy when I picked her up. I would recommend her if you need your dog taken care of and want peace of mind.”

“Kristina and her family were great! By the second visit, my Daisy knew she was going somewhere fun where would gets lots of cuddles, pets, and love! Kristina updated me of Daisy’s day and was super easy to work with. I would 1000% recommend Kristina and her family ☺️”

“Beth is a fabulous dog sitter/boarder. She took such great care of our dog, sent pics, and communicated daily. She responds promptly, is very personable and kind, and our dog had a great time at her house. We won't consider going to anyone else!”

About: We have owned fur babies for the last 25 years, from dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, as well as pet hamsters and rats. We've had the privilege of taking care of our cats and dogs almost 25 years. We have had them from puppyhood and kittenhood to their geriatric years (two dogs to age 16!). Currently we have three yellow labs; two that we adopted from my parents when they passed, they are, 4,4, and 9 years old. We have always had our dogs trained with the basic obedience commands and we only use encouraging words and actions to help them learn. Many of our animals were rescue pups. We also have dog friendly indoor/outdoor cats. I work part time at home as well as on call work when I am available. I am an early riser and can work as early as 5:30am and as late as 8pm. We offer in home care, to include drop off, doggy day care and pet sitting for dogs and cats. I would also be open to short term pet care in a clients home and I am especially interested in dog walking as well as field trips trail or park walking, and dog parks for dogs that enjoy it. I am also able to provide transportation to vet appointments.
“Excellent service! I was very pleased with the care from Angela & Ashlyn B. for my cat. Daily updates with pictures, followed feeding instructions, and made sure my cat felt safe in a new setting. Her dog was very sweet and had no problem with my cat. Overall, I am happy with my decision of using Rover and more than grateful for Angela & Ashlyn’s help! Guaranteed, I will request another booking in the future.”

“Heather and family took excellent care of my 2 year old yellow lab for ten days. She has two large labs herself and they all played delightfully. My lab also learned the joys of being around young children (or grandchildren), which will serve him well in the future. Heather was flexible about a false alarm health issue my lab had around departure time, which I much appreciated. My dog was returned trim and happy. He misses his play buddies.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover my whole life, and I know firsthand how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your dog while you’re away. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home. What sets me apart is that your dog won’t simply be “boarded” here — they’ll be welcomed into my home and treated like part of the family. I’m a mom of four boys, so I’m very comfortable managing busy days, routines, lots of activity, and plenty of love and attention! My home is a warm, family environment where dogs can relax, play, get lots of affection, and enjoy being included in everyday life. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual personality and routine and am happy to follow your preferences for feeding, walks, sleeping arrangements, medications, and anything else that helps your dog feel comfortable. I also know how reassuring updates are when you’re away, so I’m happy to send photos and check-ins throughout their stay. My goal is for you to be able to leave your dog knowing they’re safe, loved, and being cared for like one of my own — and for your pup to be excited to come back! I just recently lost my sweet girl of 13 years and I miss her so! 💗 I work part-time from home, so I’m home and available throughout much of the day to give your dog plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. Pet care fits naturally into my family’s daily routine, and your pup will get lots of love and interaction while they’re here. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and sleep schedule as closely as possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. I provide a loving, family-centered home where dogs are treated like one of my own. I have four boys who love animals, so dogs staying with me will have plenty of attention and affection! I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, crates, and any special routines. I’m careful about supervising dogs in my care and want every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks, playtime, and fresh air throughout the day. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Joseph was very helpful during our visit to The Gorge Amphitheatre. He was very communicative and flexible with our schedule. Would highly recommend and definitely book with again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Love the energy she bought. You could tell she loved dogs and her golden, Luke, was a wonderful play mate. I enjoyed all the photos of them playing together and I thought it was super cute that Juno had a bandana on. We've decided to get him one after seeing how adorable he was in it.”

About: I have cared for mostly pit bull type dogs and unwanted other dogs (seniors, chewers)- I have a lot of care and patience for animals of all kinds. I have a full time job during the week but am available weekends and some holidays if you want to go out of town. I usually feel a little guilty leaving my dogs behind while I go camping but many federal lands don’t accept dogs, even on a leash. Just know they will be cared for and played with at my house. I usually get out once a day to go to the parks with my dogs so I would love to take yours too! I feed my dogs a special dinner nightly and in the morning. They have a doggy door they go in and out of to a large fenced back yard. They are allowed on the furniture and are walked to run off leash in a park on a daily basis.

Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
