Zlatina agreed to board my German Shepheard, Penelope, for a week, starting early on a Sunday when I needed to make an un-planned trip to Texas to support one of our Projects. It was on short notice. We agreed to a Meet and Greet to see how my dog and their dog Smoke, would do together. It was instant success!! I knew right away that both Zlatina and Nathan were dog lovers and I was very comfortable leaving my girl with them. Zlatina sent me photos and updates through the week on how Penelope was doing which was great! About: We have owned fur babies for the last 25 years, from dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, goats, as well as pet hamsters and rats. We've had the privilege of taking care of our cats and dogs almost 25 years. We have had them from puppyhood and kittenhood to their geriatric years (two dogs to age 16!). Currently we have three yellow labs; two that we adopted from my parents when they passed, they are, 4,4, and 9 years old. We have always had our dogs trained with the basic obedience commands and we only use encouraging words and actions to help them learn. Many of our animals were rescue pups. We also have dog friendly indoor/outdoor cats. I work part time at home as well as on call work when I am available. I am an early riser and can work as early as 5:30am and as late as 8pm. We offer in home care, to include drop off, doggy day care and pet sitting for dogs and cats. I would also be open to short term pet care in a clients home and I am especially interested in dog walking as well as field trips trail or park walking, and dog parks for dogs that enjoy it. I am also able to provide transportation to vet appointments.

About: I have cared for mostly pit bull type dogs and unwanted other dogs (seniors, chewers)- I have a lot of care and patience for animals of all kinds. I have a full time job during the week but am available weekends and some holidays if you want to go out of town. I usually feel a little guilty leaving my dogs behind while I go camping but many federal lands don’t accept dogs, even on a leash. Just know they will be cared for and played with at my house. I usually get out once a day to go to the parks with my dogs so I would love to take yours too! I feed my dogs a special dinner nightly and in the morning. They have a doggy door they go in and out of to a large fenced back yard. They are allowed on the furniture and are walked to run off leash in a park on a daily basis.

My goal is for you to be able to leave your dog knowing they’re safe, loved, and being cared for like one of my own — and for your pup to be excited to come back! I just recently lost my sweet girl of 13 years and I miss her so! 💗 I work part-time from home, so I’m home and available throughout much of the day to give your dog plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. Pet care fits naturally into my family’s daily routine, and your pup will get lots of love and interaction while they’re here. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and sleep schedule as closely as possible. Your dog’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. I provide a loving, family-centered home where dogs are treated like one of my own. I have four boys who love animals, so dogs staying with me will have plenty of attention and affection! I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, crates, and any special routines. I’m careful about supervising dogs in my care and want every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks, playtime, and fresh air throughout the day. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of the family dogs for as long as I've been conscious enough to and have further sat for family friends and other relatives. I have trained my own puppy (he's almost 3 now), have some experience with administering medication (oral and topical), and have looked after senior dogs in various stages of their old age. I have owned and cared for dogs of various sizes from tiny chihuahuas to larger than average rottweiler mixes and handled many different temperaments. I currently do not have a job, so I am able to spend as long as necessary with your pet. I am free all day on most weekends for things like check ins or walks, but on weekdays I can only do boarding or daycare (as I also lack a car). I have a fully fenced in yard and two friendly (medium to large) dogs to play with (my poodle and my father's Rottweiler). I also have access to a kennel/crate if needed, but my sister's dog broke it, so it's more for dogs that are already crate trained and won't avidly try to get out or dogs that don't need fully kenneled and just need their own space.
