Nicole and her family were amazing with my Husky. I was worried since it was the first time leaving him with someone he didn’t already know. Her yard is a doggie oasis, they were so loving and attentive and made me feel at ease leaving him while we were on vacation. I will definitely be using her again, 5 star doggie treatment!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first time using Rover, and I was nervous about leaving my baby with someone I didn’t know. Luz was there when I dropped Mellow off and she made me feel so much more comfortable by the time I left. She sent me photos and videos of my baby being well taken care of, and that made all doubts go away. Mellow not only ate her food, but extra treats given by Luz and Alessandro, which is not usual for her. After seeing all the pictures and videos I knew I made the right decision in leaving my fur baby with them!

I had such an incredible experience with Meghan! This was my first time using Rover and having someone dog sit my baby that was not a friend or family member. Meghan was so understanding and was so so communicative by sending me daily texts and pics. Cannot recommend her enough!! My Scout loves Meghan and can't wait to go back!

Mary was great with our dogs. They had lots of cuddle time, their favorite! They had friends to play too. During drop off Pickle was nervous but Mary helped her feel much better giving her some extra love. Pierogi found the coziest bed and made herself right at home. The puppies were happy & healthy at pick up. Thanks for loving our babies!

Hedra was such an amazing sitter. I always have a hard time finding some one to care for my dog because he tends to get anxious. Hedra send me videos, photo of Louie, walked him around, played with him and Louie was so happy. Definitely booking him again soon, from now on I would not leave Louie with anybody else. Such a caring person.

About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. My wife and I have made a point to adopt large older dogs that tend to be stuck in the shelter system. All dogs are good and deserve to live a fun filled, happy, and loved life. I am also recently pet CPR and first aid certified by The American Red Cross. Im currently working part time three nights during the week so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pups. Having recently lost our beloved Mastiff, I've been craving some pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard and have plenty of room to crate your pups. We recently lost our dog so we are pet free. Being dog people, we welcome your dogs like they were our family.

Skipper stayed with Kristen for a couple of days and she every day she provided great communication, numerous updates and kept our pup busy! He is a higher energy 1.5 year old golden doodle, so he needs a lot of exercise and she was awesome at keeping him entertained with her children and dog Bailey. He was allowed on her furniture and it really seemed like he was part of her family for his stay. Thanks so much for your efforts Kristen!! We highly recommend you!

It was my first time using Rover and she made the process very easy for me. (I was very nervous). Thank you Mary and family! -Peggy and Bryn

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a little girl and have cared for my own dog since I was old enough. I trained her as a puppy, teaching her tricks and potty training her, and I still walk her every day. Now that she is 15 years old, I also manage her senior arthritis care by administering her daily supplements and medication. Additionally, I had a pet cat for the majority of my teenage years who I cared for devotedly. I managed the litter box, provided food and water, and gave plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I have also pet-sat for family and friends many times before. I’m currently a college student with my AA, working toward my BS in Biology, and I am looking for a part-time job where I can put my lifelong experience in pet care to good use! For the remainder of the summer, I have completely open availability! I am home every day, so your pet will receive 100% undivided attention, lots of playtime, and potty breaks. Starting September 1st, I will transition into being a full-time university student. I have 1-3 morning classes from Monday-Thursday, so my afternoons and weekends are completely free! I have a fully fenced-in yard that is perfect for sunbathing, potty breaks, and zoomies! I also have one very friendly, calm dog. My home is create-free so your pet will have lots of comfortable space to lounge in. (If your dog is crate trained and prefers it, you are welcome to bring their crate along for a safe space!) For care in your home, I will treat your space with respect and care. My top priority is keeping your dog's routine consistent and stress-free. I can stick to specific feeding times, walking routes, and provide company to make you and your pet feel safe, secure, and loved while away!

I must say…. I was very apprehensive about leaving my rescue dog with a stranger. Antionette was so responsive throughout the process. Lucy is very nervous around new people and she made a point to stop over with her dog so they can meet before the overnight stay. Not only did she communicate constantly with me, she sent me lots of pictures and put my mind at ease. She also kept the house in order and watered my plants. Antionette is a true animal lover and we will be using her again.

There are 590 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Seaside Heights. About 91% of Seaside Heights sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
