About: Hi there! I’m Bryan, new here, but a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent to my 7 year old rescue pitbull-terrier mix. I have always had a natural bond with animals of all types. I’m especially experienced with skittish or shy rescue dogs. Love cats as well! Offering walks, drop ins, and sittings in LI. Preferably only overnight sittings in NYC due to distance, LI sittings are fine for me to go back and forth to. For walks & drop in’s, I’m in Nassau county so wherever I can get quickly is best. Mostly available on weekdays but potentially some weekends. I can’t offer sittings at my home due to my dog, but more than happy to sit at yours. I love clear instructions on how to care for your pet so I can be sure to follow them for the pets diet, routine, and needs. Safety is a top priority, I’d be sure to keep any doors or gates closed and always be on the look out for any hazards. I would treat your home and pet the way I would mine. Glad to send regular updates or photos of your pet for your comfort. My goal is to take proper care of them!

About: I've had a dog since I was 9 years old, and now help care for him in his senior doggy years! I've helped to dog-sit and cat-sit for friends over the years and am excited to help our your best bud! I work part-time, so my schedule is very flexible for me to check up on your furry friends or take them for their daily walks! My schedule varies, so some days I am available all day while other days I am only available after 2PM. I am very observant both in and out of the home, and will keep a close eye on your furry friend whether it be in the house or on a walk.

“It was such a pleasure having Travis stay at our house and take care of our two pups. At the first meet and greet my dogs were calm and very welcoming. They took to him right away. At the second meet and greet they were so excited and happy to see him. Seeing their reaction and his interaction with them gave me a very safe and comfortable feeling that my dogs and my home would be well taken care of. On the day we left on our trip he arrived on time as planned and he kept in touch with us the whole time. Arriving home after 4 days, my dogs and my house were just as I left them. So happy we found Travis and we will definitely be asking for his help again in the future.”

About: I’m passionate about dog care. I rescued my own dog about 6 years ago, at the beginning of COVID. I crate trained him and taught him basic commands. I love giving dogs the most perfect day by going on walks at different places and giving all the belly rubs! I have dog sat for friends in the past, my dog gets along great with new friends. I currently work in a hybrid role so I am flexible with the days I can work from home. I am mostly available Friday - Sunday for walks and checks in. During the week I am available in the evenings for walks. I closely pay attention to detail and instructions left so your pet is cared for the way you would! I am very respectful of your animal as well as your time and home. I will treat your pet as my own.

About: I have a German shepherd who gets treated like royalty; from her cozy bedding for her afternoon naps, to her healthy-quality treats, and even me changing up the route of her walk so she doesn't get bored, are a few things I do for her that keeps her energy and mood up. I have a huge heart and just genuinely care about living things because they have feelings too. Generally, I am a pretty reliable person; I don't have children and Rover Pet Care seems like the perfect position to supplement my schedule with emotional rewards. While caring for pets, I always keep an eye on them at all times (they can get into things that they aren't supposed to sometimes), when walking my dog, I never let her be in control and is trained to walk by my side with obedience. Treats should be given sparingly and after they have listened to a command. Lastly, discipline is important, especially at puppy stages in order for them to know what is right and wrong.

About: I absolutely adore dogs. I’ve been around them for almost my whole life. For the past 5 years, I’ve had the joy of caring for my own rescue pup, Tara. Through her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs who need a little extra TLC, especially those with anxiety, sensitive tummies, or clingy personalities. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care, and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. My eventual goal is to open up my own non-profit dog shelter for other rescues but as of now, I am a law student that would love the opportunity to care for your dog and treat them as my own. I’m a law student but I have a flexible schedule. Please text or email me and I will do my best to accommodate to a mutually agreed upon schedule. I have a fenced backyard, designated dog bowls and a tray if needed. I also have an extra dog bed and extra fencing if needed.

“Cassie is super sweet, friendly, efficient and overall you can tell she is just a good. person. She is very responsive and proactive while watching my home and dog. She followed all instructions, asked good questions and sent daily check in's with loving pictures of my dog. He is an older dog and can get a bit anxious and he was so calm when I got home. About: I've always had animals growing up and throughout adulthood. Mostly dogs and cats, but also reptiles and rodents, fish, and even a rabbit! This past year I've had the opportunity to work at a doggie daycare where I'm often in a room with an average of 20 dogs at a time making sure they behave and correcting them if they don't. I prepare their meals and stay in communication with pet parents in order to ensure that both pup and parent are happy. I LOVE working with dogs but, I'm looking for something new where I can give more individual attention to each pet. I have open availability throughout the week and on weekends. I have teenage children who still rely on me to cart them around so, I will need at least a day's notice for required services. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible. I know each pet parent has a preferred way they would like their animals to be cared for and I will make sure to care for your fur baby in a way that keeps you both happy.
